Custom Medical Weight Loss Plans

If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.

Semaglutide Treatment in Civic Center, NY

Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.

Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Civic Center, NY, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.

However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.

If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.

What is Semaglutide Treatment in Civic Center, NY?

If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.

You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."

Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.

Who Should Consider Semaglutide Therapy in Civic Center, NY?

There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.

A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.

It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?

If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.

Healthy Eating Tips While Taking Semaglutide

As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Civic Center, NY are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.

One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.

Eat Whole Foods

Eat Whole Foods

To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.

Be Mindful When You Eat

Be Mindful When You Eat

Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Keep Your Body Hydrated

To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.

Meal-Prepping

Use Meal Prepping to Your Advantage

Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.

Other Peptide Therapies and Medicines for Medical Weight Loss in Civic Center, NY

Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.

Semiglutide Weight Loss Civic Center, NY

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.

What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.

Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.

Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Damaged Cartilage
  • Arthritis

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.

This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.

That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.

Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Reduction in Body Fat
  • Boosted Metabolism
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Immune System
  • More

MIC Injections for Weight Loss

A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.

When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.

Phentermine for Weight Loss

Like other weight loss peptides and medicines on this page, Phentermine can help you lose weight when you stick to a medical weight loss plan that includes dieting, exercise, and smart life choices. It does so by reducing your appetite, which limits the number of calories you eat every day.

As is the case with Semaglutide, Phentermine has been approved by the FDA and is supported by clinical studies that show it can support weight loss. With time, patience, and healthy living, this supplement may help you reach your wellness goals sooner than you thought possible.

7-Keto DHEA for Weight Loss

In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.

Much like Semaglutide treatment in Civic Center, NY, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:

  • Weight Loss
  • Improvement to Lean Muscle Mass
  • Boosted Thyroid Activity
  • Enhanced Memory
  • Anti-Aging Treatment
  • Better Memory

Lipo Scuplt Cream

ONEIDA, N. Y. – Local wild cats are finding a voice and Oneida residents will be celebrating on Saturday, May 20 when CatStock III visits the Kallet Civic Center on 159 Main St.

The event will feature six local bands and six food trucks. The event runs from noon to 7 p.m. Admission is free but donations are encouraged.

“Whoever brings a donation, like cat food or cat litter, will receive a raffle ticket to the raffle of their choice,” Bella Vita Cafe owner and CatStock III co-organizer Lori Seef said. “You may not like cats, but this will help the feral community by trapping, neutering and releasing them to try to stop the rapid population growth in Oneida.”

Seef and her cousin John Chesebro have taken the mantle of CatStock after Michelle Finn, former owner of Finnland’s Foster Cat Adoptions moved with her husband to Delaware last year.

Chesebro’s son Logan had approached Finn about bringing in local bands to support the work of the Oneida City Cat Committee in 2021. Oneida hosted CatStock I and II in 2021 and 2022. Now John Chesebro and Seef have taken up the festival’s mission.

Logan Chesebro is the drummer for One Man The Band, one of the six bands that will play on Saturday. Seef said raffle prizes will include weed whackers and chainsaws. Music will be performed in the Kallet while food trucks and vendors will be situated alongside the center.

Wanderer’s Rest adoption in Canastota will also be on hand along with cats for adoption.

“I wanted to cap the number of people involved, but I’m glad I didn’t,” John Chesebro said. “We’ve had a great community response to this event.”

Donations will help support along with OCCC and Operation WildCats. Both organizations are dedicated to the humane care of wild cats.

“We have too many wild cat colonies to count,” Chesebro said. “People move, or their cats get pregnant, and we end up with all these wildcats that no one cares for.”

Both organizations capture cats, neuter or spay them, get them medical care and then release them.

“They videotape the cats’ capture and release to show they are dealing with the cats properly. They are very ethical groups,” Chesebro said.

The Greenwich Department of Public Works recently posted an update on the new Cohen Eastern Greenwich Civic Center.

GREENWICH, CT — Construction continues to progress on the new Cohen Eastern Greenwich Civic Center, according to the latest update from the Greenwich Department of Public Works.

All foundation walls and footings have been installed at the site, and crews are progressing through under-slab utility installation, DPW said on Facebook. The erection of building steel is planned to commence during the second half of February. Construction is scheduled to be completed by fall of 2023.

The new civic center will be built on the same footprint. It will be one-story and 35,418-square feet, and include a full-size multi-use gymnasium with roll-out spectator seating; 8,100 square feet of multi-use event space; three 1,000-square-foot activity rooms, two of which will share a partition that can be opened to create a larger room; and other amenities.

The original civic center was built in 1950 as an employee recreation center for Electrolux. The town acquired the building and the 13.22-acre site in 1966.

Greenwich began to develop plans for a building rehabilitation in 2000, but in the years that followed, issues with the facility began to crop up which required immediate repairs.

Find out what's happening in Greenwichwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

After exploring existing conditions of the concrete structure, other problems were investigated such as space utilization, functionality and accessibility.

The lack of thermal insulation and air conditioning throughout the building, as well as a deteriorating subterranean plumbing system, have been problems for years.

The town determined that a complete replacement made more sense.

Greenwich residents Steven and Alexandra Cohen donated $5 million last year as part of a naming rights deal for the project. Steven Cohen is a Greenwich resident and owner of the Mets. He's also the founder of Point72 asset management, a hedge fund company headquartered in Stamford.

Greenwich officials and the community broke ground on the new civic center last October. It was originally projected to cost around $21.5 million. The Greenwich Representative Town Meeting then approved an additional $4.04 million for the project last March.

More information on the project, including renderings, can be found on the town of Greenwich website.

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) - Plattsburgh officials continue to debate the future of the Crete Civic Center. While the mayor is pushing to tear down the aging center used for community events and indoor winter sports, some council members are pushing to keep it on life support for another season.

“They’re devastated,” said Steve Peters, who runs Adirondack Coast Sports, which hosts adult and kids recreation leagues at the Crete Center from November to May. He says there are about 150 teams with a total of about 1,700 players that depend on the facility. “That field would be full almost one hundred percent of the time.”

The building shut down after an electrical fire in May. Plattsburgh Mayor Chris Rosenquest says the building is looking at a minimum of $45,000 to get it back up and running, $3 million to renovate, or just under $1 million to tear down. He says the building has sewage issues, structural cracks, and a cockroach infestation, among other problems. Plus, the mayor says it costs more to run than it’s bringing in.

“In fairness to them, none of them have made decisions that have created this problem,” Peters said. He says he knows the Crete Center intimately from his time running the rec department for 10 years. He says over time, the little budget cuts added up and led to the current issue. “They cut that but then they never replaced it. But at the time, they thought it was a good decision,” Peters said.

City Councilor Elizabeth Gibbs says there is money out there for a short-term fix to keep the center open one more season and buy the city some time to come up with a plan. She says Assemblyman Billy Jones has offered $100,000 in state funding. “I can’t get behind tearing it down and not remediating when we have people willing to help,” Gibbs said.

Peters recently submitted a full report to the council on how much it would take to keep the Crete alive. “I’m willing to do whatever I can do to take care of these kids, and if that opportunity exists, here’s the pathway to do that,” he said.

The mayor says there are other needs in the city that take priority and would be a better use of taxpayer dollars. In a lengthy document last month, he outlined the various options for the center. He’s also offering public informational tours next Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m.

If you live in Poughkeepsie these things are a surefire way to piss you off!

There are numerous things that stress us all out, right? We have family, work, friends, bills...the list goes on and on but if you live in Poughkeepsie we've come up with six things on top of everything else that most definitely set you off!

There are a few things that drivers can do that drive everyone from Poughkeepsie NUTS! Let's start with anyone that is trying to merge onto or get off route 9 anywhere near the Mid-Hudson Bridge. There is nothing worse than coming off the arterial and being behind someone that doesn't understand how to properly get onto Route 9 northbound. UGH! How about if you have to go around and try to get on route 9 south...That's even worse.

Billy sent us a message and said "how about the merge coming off the bridge from Highland to Route 9? Talk about a disaster! There is at least one accident every day there." Yup both locations are notorious for accidents.

Poughkeepsie residents that we heard from told us that most of the students are GREAT but there are a select few that seem to think they own the world. Mary, who works at a diner in Poughkeepsie told us, "there is nothing worse than some groups of Marist girls that come into the diner. They can be soo rude and act like I'm beneath them. It's even worse if it's late at night and they have had a few drinks." She ended her text by saying, "They are awful tippers!!"

Most Poughkeepsie residents will always refer to the newly named MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center as the Civic Center. Chris, from Poughkeepsie, let us know that when someone talks about the civic center and calls it by its new name he will act like he has no idea what place they are talking about until they call it the civic center...LOL! For the purpose of not angering anyone else (besides Chris), it is the MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center!

I think most of the Hudson Valley can agree that we are NOT upstate New York. Upstate is Buffalo, Albany, Rochester, and Syracuse, right? The argument has gone on for many years and I think when anyone refers to any part of the Hudson Valley as upstate it pisses them off. Us included!!!

If you've ever had a conversation with someone not from the area and they try to say Poughkeespie it can be kind of funny. It doesn't piss off everyone when it is said wrong but it does bother some. The correct way to say it is.....puh·kip·see! (I wonder why we don't spell it the same way?)

Being a Poughkeepsie resident for the last few years, I added this one to the list because as I've said many times, Ginos on Main Street in Poughkeepsie has hands down the best pizza anywhere! When someone challenges that statement, I'm ready to fight...LOL!

If you live in Poughkeepsie and there's a sure-fire thing someone can say or do that will piss you off that we missed, please let us know. Leave a comment and we will update this article with your suggestions.

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. —

Plattsburgh Mayor Chris Rosenquest said his mind is made up about taking down the Crete Civic Center.

“This is something the city of Plattsburgh can no longer keep saddling,” Rosenquest said. “It’s just too much.”

In a memo he released earlier this week on Facebook, he emphasizes that the cost is too high to keep the recreation center intact.

Officials estimate it will cost around $20,000-$30,000 to install new underground electrical distribution lines and repair damaged electrical equipment inside the building. An additional $25,000-$30,000 is required to hire an electrical contractor to inspect the building. A minimum cost of $45,000 was estimated just to reorganize the building and check for damages from a fire that burned inside the civic center last May.

The total cost to repair the building, excluding any outside of insurance fees, is $250,000.

The mayor also added that an earlier inspection revealed a number of other issues, including cockroaches, mold and other safety hazards spread throughout the building.

“All of these things have added up to roughly about a $250,000 fix for the Crete Center,” Rosenquest said. “Again, it goes back to does the city of Plattsburgh want to saddle that burden, and I’m saying, ‘no [we] do not.’”

Despite the cost, Plattsburgh residents are still doing everything they can to sway the mayor’s opinion. Several people attended his walking tour and open question-and-answer conversation about the facility this week, speaking up on why it should stay.

“This is obviously an issue that’s going on in the city,” said Josh Meyer, a soccer coach who uses the civic center with his team, Plattsburgh Football. “I’m trying to stay at the forefront of the issue and see what the mayor had to say."

Local sports organizations are also doing whatever they can to help out. Steve Peters, an organizer at Adirondack Coast Sports, is working on creating a proposal that will balance out both sides between the mayor and the hundreds of athletes who played in the Crete.

“My goal was really just to provide an alternative solution,” Peters said. "To see if there is a win-win opportunity for the people that I represent, of which there is about 1,700 kids and adults that participate and provide an option for people to stay in here without providing such a drain or strain on the city tax payment.”

Elizabeth Gibbs is one Plattsburgh council member who disagrees with the mayor’s decision.

“I cannot support tearing down the building at this time,” Gibbs said. “The children of [Plattsburgh], not only the city, but also the county, deserve a location for their athletics programs.”

There is not an official date as to when the mayor intends to start the demolition, but he said he’s looking to start the conversation to find other ways to add recreational activities in Plattsburgh without using the 48-year-old building.

“That’s the conversation we need to have,” Rosenquest said. “The Crete Civic Center has lived its useful life. I think it’s time to move on and it’s time to have a different conversation for what regional recreation looks like.”
