Custom Medical Weight Loss Plans

If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.

Semaglutide Treatment in Emerson, NJ

Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.

Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Emerson, NJ, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.

However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.

If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.

What is Semaglutide Treatment in Emerson, NJ?

If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.

You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."

Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.

Who Should Consider Semaglutide Therapy in Emerson, NJ?

There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.

A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.

It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?

If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.

Healthy Eating Tips While Taking Semaglutide

As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Emerson, NJ are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.

One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.

Eat Whole Foods

Eat Whole Foods

To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.

Be Mindful When You Eat

Be Mindful When You Eat

Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Keep Your Body Hydrated

To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.

Meal-Prepping

Use Meal Prepping to Your Advantage

Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.

Other Peptide Therapies and Medicines for Medical Weight Loss in Emerson, NJ

Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.

Semiglutide Weight Loss Emerson, NJ

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.

What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.

Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.

Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Damaged Cartilage
  • Arthritis

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.

This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.

That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.

Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Reduction in Body Fat
  • Boosted Metabolism
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Immune System
  • More

MIC Injections for Weight Loss

A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.

When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.

Phentermine for Weight Loss

Like other weight loss peptides and medicines on this page, Phentermine can help you lose weight when you stick to a medical weight loss plan that includes dieting, exercise, and smart life choices. It does so by reducing your appetite, which limits the number of calories you eat every day.

As is the case with Semaglutide, Phentermine has been approved by the FDA and is supported by clinical studies that show it can support weight loss. With time, patience, and healthy living, this supplement may help you reach your wellness goals sooner than you thought possible.

7-Keto DHEA for Weight Loss

In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.

Much like Semaglutide treatment in Emerson, NJ, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:

  • Weight Loss
  • Improvement to Lean Muscle Mass
  • Boosted Thyroid Activity
  • Enhanced Memory
  • Anti-Aging Treatment

Kevin Quinn could see the writing on the wall.

The Cresskill football coach said low numbers at the Group 1 school forced him to choose between two options. Either move down to NJIC Union Division or team up with a second school.

The Cougars preferred the latter option and found a logical answer only 15 minutes away. Emerson was looking for a fallback plan after a proposed merger with Park Ridge was denied.

The fourth co-op in North Jersey football was born.

"Once the kids are on the field playing, they all have that common goal to win and succeed," Quinn said.

Cresskill is the lead school and will keep the Cougars nickname and slide up to Group 2 level.

The Cougars plan to have one game and one scrimmage this season at Emerson. The location for summer practices and lifts have alternated between the two schools. The roster will likely be in the mid-to-upper 30s.

So far, Quinn said the move has been pretty seamless. During the spring, the Cougars held team bonding events where players could get to know each other over lunch and games in the gym.

Emerson coach Nick Calandrino and one of his assistants were brought on staff to ease the transition. Calandrino runs the wrestling program at Cresskill and told Quinn how much the two student bodies have in common.

"Everybody has been on the same page and works real well," Quinn said. "Nowadays, a lot of these kids know each other through social media. How I describe it to people is Cresskill has a good group of kids and Emerson has a good group of kids. Now we have one big group of kids."

The tradition

As fate would have it, Cresskill and Emerson both started their football programs in the 1963 season.

Cresskill (5-4) has been one of the most consistent public schools in North Jersey. The Cougars have five sectional titles, four unbeaten seasons and a .650 winning percentage as a single entity. They finished with a winning record in 16 of the last 20 seasons.

Emerson picked up one sectional title in the modern playoff era (1983). The Cavos went 1-6 a year ago in the Union Division.

The challenge

Cresskill/Emerson needs to figure out how to weave two teams and two towns into one successful family.

Quinn expects some bumps along the way, but likes having some of the depth and competition for spots that were missing in the past. One of the selling points on each end was being able to field two levels of football.

To foster a sense of unity, the Cougars have taken some inspiration from coach Greg Gruzdis at Waldwick/Midland Park.

"When they play, they are just Warriors," Quinn said. "It's Warrior football over there. They don't care what town you're from. I like that. We've adopted that a little bit. It's Cougar football right now."

Expectations

The Cougars will have a camp battle at quarterback and running back with a vacancy at both spots. Star wideout Ryan Berkowitz (732 receiving yards) is one of the top playmakers in the NJIC and could take some snaps at times.

Quinn believes size will be an advantage up front, as well as the senior leadership from defensive back Charlie Diamond and linemen Glory Moon and Minsung Kang.

On paper, the returning Cougars appear to have a slightly easier draw after moving from the Patriot Division (.609 combined win percentage) to the Liberty (.422) this season.

"I don't think there's any easy games anywhere," Quinn said. "It's still going to be a tough schedule. I love the way the NJIC does our schedules where late in the year you're going to play similar-type teams."

Bergen district officials claim they received shoddy construction work at school

The Emerson Board of Education has accused a construction company of performing shoddy work at its junior-senior high school.

The district filed a lawsuit against Askari Construction Inc., Selective Insurance Company of America, GL Group Inc. and Berkley Insurance Company on Tuesday in state Superior Court in Bergen County.

The suit says that after the board contracted Askari to work on the junior-senior high school in July 2019 for just over $3 million, Selective Insurance provided a performance bond and payment bond on behalf of Askari.

The district put school building upgrades for Memorial Elementary School, Patrick M. Villano Elementary School and Emerson Junior-Senior High School to a referendum in 2018, to the tune of $13.3 million. The proposal was approved by voters 666-652.

According to the lawsuit, the construction company began work but the project was "visibly defective, incomplete and performed below industry and trade standards and not in a workmanlike quality." The suit additionally accuses Askari of constantly missing project deadlines.

The lawsuit says issues included a defective cement floor in the science wing and improperly installed flashing to prevent water seepage and repointing of almost 4,000 square feet of brick at the science wing.

In January 2021, the Board of Education told Askari and Selective Insurance that it would be terminating the contract because of the ongoing issues and provided project status reports outlining the problems from December 2020 and January 2021.

The suit says Askari continued to do work after the letter of intent to terminate, without addressing a number of the deficiencies outlined in the project status reports.

The contract with Askari was terminated in March 2021, and the board demanded that Selective Insurance find a replacement contractor to complete the bond work and that all the deficient work be fixed.

Selective Insurance put the project out to bid and in May 2021 and hired GL Group Inc. to fix and finish the project. The Board of Education said GL Group Inc. completed the work but failed to remedy the alleged deficient work in the science wing.

The attorney for the district, John Schettino, did not return a call for comment.

Muhammad Iqbal, the owner of Askari Construction, disagreed with the accusation that the work done by his company was deficient.

For subscribersThese stores in NJ are now accepting expired Bed Bath & Beyond coupons

"They can go and claim anything they want, but it's all [expletive]," Iqbal told The Record and NorthJersey.com.

Iqbal had not been served the lawsuit as of Thursday but acknowledged that Askari had its contract terminated and didn't know what else the board would want.

Iqbal said the job was inspected daily by the manager and the project architect. He accused the project manager of discriminating against him because of his skin color.

"If it was faulty, why did they approve it?" Iqbal said, noting he got paid $2 million for the work completed. "So how can they say the job was faulty?"

The construction company owner said if the other company did poor work, that is not on him.

The Board of Education claims there is a breach of contract, negligence, breach of duty of good faith and fair dealing, breach of performance bonds, fraud and negligent misrepresentation.

The board is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, attorney fees, the cost of the suit and other relief from the court.

It looks like Emerson High School has a new football partner.

The districts of Cresskill and Emerson sent an application to the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) to form a co-operative program for football starting with the 2023 season. The North Jersey Interscholastic Conference (NJIC) approved the merger by a vote of 32-3 with two abstentions.

Cresskill would be considered the lead education agency and the team would retain the Cougars nickname and uniforms upon approval by the NJSIAA, the state’s governing body for high school athletics.

It is unlikely the NJSIAA will turn down the partnership, giving North Jersey a fourth football co-op along with Cliffside Park/Ridgefield, Waldwick/Midland Park and Palisades Park/Leonia.

“It is wonderful to know that we found a strong potential partner in Cresskill,” Emerson superintendent Brian Gatens said in an email to NorthJersey.com. “Offering students the opportunity to participate fully in activities of their choice is essential for a wonderful school experience, and knowing that Cresskill and Emerson will mutually benefit from combining forces enables both districts to continue to serve their students well.”

Emerson, one of the smallest districts in North Jersey, partners with Park Ridge in multiple sports and sought to join the Owls for football last year, but the NJIC denied the request and an appeal on behalf of Emerson to the NJSIAA was dismissed.

The Cavos finished 1-6 in the NJIC Union Division last year and were 2-5 the year before. The Union Division was created to help schools with low football participation numbers maintain a program and play competitive games.

Cresskill and Emerson are not geographic neighbors, but both have seen their participation numbers in football decline recently. Cresskill finished 5-4 last season. The combined the program may have close to 50 players.

“There is a concern in future years for having a viable program if we do not take actions to inspire our younger athletes,” Cresskill Supt. Dr. Peter Hughes said in an email to NorthJersey.com. “I personally believe that our co-op with Emerson will help make our games more exciting with more fans in the stands, as well as on the field with more players having the opportunity to compete.”

“As has been the case for the past several years, Emerson has struggled with numbers when it comes to football participation,” Gatens said. “Working with Cresskill will enable our interested students to continue playing a sport they enjoy immensely and enjoy the success that comes from being part of a larger, combined program.”

PARTICIPATION:What's behind New Jersey's drop in HS sports participation?

The NJSIAA altered its rules to allow schools to co-op with more than one school, so while Emerson and Cresskill will partner for football, Emerson can remain partners with Park Ridge for wrestling and other sports.

Hughes hosted a community forum on Friday to hear from the stakeholders involved in the Cougars football program. He said the only concern surrounded the Cresskill football culture, but he affirmed the plan to unify the teams and towns. In a letter to the community, Hughes said the co-op would allow Cresskill to have a larger pool of players to work with and expand the players knowledge of the game.

“I understand this may be a difficult decision for some families, but I assure you that the co-op will be beneficial for our student-athletes and program in the long term,” wrote Hughes in the letter.

If approved by the NJSIAA, it will give the NJIC 26 football teams spread out across five divisions. The NJIC leadership will meet next week to finalize football schedules. It is possible that Cresskill/Emerson could be shifted to a different division than Cresskill played last year since NJIC divisions are based on enrollment size. Cresskill played in the Patriot Division last year along with Wood-Ridge, Park Ridge, Butler and St. Mary.

If the Cresskill/Emerson partnership passes, there would be five teams each in the Colonial, Liberty, Meadowlands and Patriot Divisions and six in the Union Division.

Emerson/Park Ridge will move on to the final where they will meet either Butler or New Milford, with their semifinal being pushed to Jan. 31.

Emerson/Park Ridge (10-5) has suffered five losses in its last nine duals after starting off the campaign with six straight wins. However, assistant coach Ricky Eichenlaub said his athletes never concede and fight to the last possibility, which is what he and Coach Joe Mazzeo ask for on a weekly basis.

“The big thing for all of us is that we preach effort,” Eichenlaub said, following Wednesday’s win. “As long as they fight, and it doesn’t matter who we face, we’re happy with that.”

Eichenlaub commended some of the first-year athletes as he reflected on the season, specifically freshman Nate Shannon (106), who walked away with a pin as well as Carlos Rivera.

“They’ve done what we’ve asked of them all season,” he said.

Juniors Luke MacFie and Jacob Shannon also came up big on Wednesday, bumping up with big pins for the win.

“We knew it was going to be a close one,” Eichenlaub added. “The boys made a couple of moves, fought hard and got the results.”

Senior Jake Farrington (113) and Louden Mazzeo (144) won by pins, respectively, and junior Charles O’Donovan also played a pivotal part for Emerson/Park Ridge.

“O’Dono came up big for us tonight,” Eichenlaub said. “We did well at counties this weekend and that continued. We’re looking forward to the final.”
