In fact, owner Oggi Echavarria swapped locations with a friend/fellow restaurant owner, taking the place of Let’s Meat Steakhouse. (In exchange, you can now find Let’s Meat Steakhouse in River Vale in place of Oggi’s previous eatery, Zozo’s.)
The 2,000-square foot space seats 60 inside. In addition, the interior boasts beautiful chandeliers and antique touches. Meanwhile, walls are pashmina color, giving the place a Mediterranean vibe. Outdoor seating currently allows thirty guests to sit beneath a tent near fresh tomato and basil plants, plus other decor.

The menu at Cork and Crust presents Italian and Sicilian dishes with a Mediterranean twist. The eatery uses antibiotic-free, hormone-free, free-range chicken, in addition to fresh ingredients, pasta, and vegetarian alternatives.
Oggi says the grilled octopus, grilled bronzini, and stuffed jumbo mushrooms are popular at the moment. Specialty pastas are also a hit, including the vegetarian-friendly Garganelli di Catanina. Chef Domani leads the Cork and Crust culinary team. He and his family were born and raised in Hoboken and Brooklyn, and are of Italian, Sicilian, and Spanish descent. Domani is a self-taught chef, working in restaurants since he was 12 years old. (In fact, he mastered pizza making by the age of 15.) The homemade sauce, meatballs, and other specialties at Cork and Crust are all family recipes.
Despite the Italian cuisine, the eatery is BYO. But Cork and Crust encourages guests to bring champagne to their Sunday brunch for mimosas and bellinis; they’ll provide the rest. They do, however, offer nonalcoholic white and red sangria.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — It's official, Plamer Park will be getting a new temporary ice rink this winter, according to Washington Township Mayor Matt Murello.
Earlier this summer, the Washington Township Committee and mayor discussed the possibility of installing an ice rink at Palmer Park due to the increased cost of lining the old Harrington Park rink.
The committee discussed the project at a work session meeting back in July, but the official announcement of the rink was made on Tuesday afternoon by the mayor.
The new rink has been installed on the infield of one of Palmer Park's baseball fields. Murello clarified that no fields were dug up or damaged in any way to create the rink, which was a source of concern for some residents, and the township intends to keep it that way.
The ice rink still needs more freezing time, so residents are asked to stay away from it until the town says it's safe to use. "If the liner is damaged before the ice is set, we all lose, so just don't," Murello said.
The township will soon be moving the "Skating/No Skating Sign" from Harrington Park to Palmer Park, officials said.
The new rink will only be for general ice skating, with no hockey allowed on the ice. Residents are also being asked to park only in the lower lot and enter the rink through the dugout and fencing.
"Feel free to use the benches around the ice but refrain from walking with skates on in the outfield grass area. The DPW will do their best to clear the surface after snow and plow the lower lot, but the park area is a lower priority so don't call and ask after a storm when it will be done," Murello said.
Once fully frozen, the rink will be open dawn from to dusk for all to enjoy. All attending children must be accompanied by an adult, township officials said.
The temporary rink will be removed once the winter skating season is over so that field preparation can be completed before spring baseball.

A Bergen County man who made news for selling bulletproof doors to local schools last year was arrested and charged with selling counterfeit fireproof doors, authorities said Thursday.
Omer Barnes, 43, is accused of selling and installing $39,000 worth of counterfeit doors in the Harrington Park school district, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
Barnes, a Harrington Park resident, was arrested Wednesday and charged with second-degree counterfeiting and third-degree tampering with public records or information. He was released on a summons to appear in court, Musella said.
The prosecutor’s office began an investigation in August after receiving a complaint that Barnes and REMO Security Doors had installed “fraudulent security doors in the Harrington Park school system,” Musella said.
Remo’s website names Barnes as the founder and owner of the company. A message left on the company’s voicemail was not immediately returned on Friday. Barnes could not be reached for comment.
The prosecutor said the doors installed in a Harrington Park school were “missing the requisite fire rating certification tags.”
Barnes is accused of affixing serial-number tags to the doors purported to be from a testing and certifying company. The tags indicated the doors met necessary fire-rating requirements, Musella said.
However, Barnes acted “without authorization from the issuing company” when he placed the tags on the doors, according to the prosecutor.
“He also presented documentation to the Harrington Park fire sub-code official that the doors were in compliance with the necessary fire rating,” Musella said. “The investigation determined that the serial numbers on the tags were not for the doors installed.”
“As a result of the scheme, Omer Barnes received a personal benefit in excess of $39,900,” Musella said.
The prosecutor’s office did not immediately respond Friday morning to requests for comment on the doors, including whether there were issues about the claims made about bullet-resistant doors.
In August 2019, Barnes told NJ Advance Media that he imports the bullet-resistant doors from Israel that he says were guaranteed to protect a classroom from a shooter.
Barnes said the company had installed single doors at about 30 schools to demonstrate them, but Harrington Park was the first public school to fully employ REMO doors throughout the district.
Musella asked that anyone who purchased doors from Barnes or REMO Security Doors call the county’s financial crimes investigators at 201-226-5532.

“When you first walk in it definitely has the wow factor. The place is just breathtakingly beautiful. It is airy, bright and welcoming. Echavarria also just launched a "ghost kitchen," offering six varieties of meatballs (View menu) for delivery only via GrubHub, DoorDash and UberEats. He plans to soon offer stuffed garlic knots as another "ghost kitchen" concept. For the unfamiliar, ghost kitchens are exclusively delivery- and takeout-restaurants — often are invisible to the public — working from an established restaurant kitchen or a commissary.

"I'm getting married in October, and I feel all the wheels are turning," said Echavarria, 35, a self-taught chef, who learned "everything" from working at his uncle's Italian restaurant Rosario's Trattoria in Midland Park. "I learned how to make pizza by age 12. I was the manager by age 15."
Besides Cork & Crust, there is one other restaurant in Harrington Park: Donatella's Ristorante. Raw Seafood Bar will be the borough's third.
