Roxbury’s special viewing location, open even if it's raining, will be at the Shore Hills Country Club beach/dock (195 Mt. Arlington Blvd., Landing).

Those who want to support the veterans aboard Miss Lotta should arrive by 12:15 p.m. The boat is scheduled to arrive at around 12:35 p.m.
"Roxbury residents, veterans’ family and friends, Roxbury Mayor Jim Rilee, Deputy Mayor Jaki Albrecht, Councilman Shawn Potillo, U.S. Rep. Tom Kean Jr., and others are planning to be at the Roxbury viewing location to cheer for the veterans and wave a flurry of American flags," said the township.
It noted that a special musical guest and recent Roxbury High School graduate, Andrew Darling, will be there to sing “American Soldier” by country singer/songwriter Toby Keith as a special tribute to the veterans.
The Rory O’Moore School of Pipes and Drums will also play a medley of patriot music for the veterans, and Roxbury Fire Company 2 will have a fire truck at the south end of the Shore Hills Country Club beach shooting off a “water canon salute."
The “Miss Lotta” is a 57-foot Skipperliner cruise boat offering plenty of open air deck space and a comfortable enclosed cabin area with bathrooms.
After the cruise, the veterans will be treated to a free lunch at the Lake Hopatcong Elks Lodge, 201 Howard Boulevard, Mt. Arlington.

This comes seven days after a lottery player in Neptune Beach, Florida won the record $1.602 billion jackpot by also buying a lottery ticket at Publix.
It is the eighth time this year the Mega Millions jackpot has been won - the most since 2016.
In addition, a ticket sold in New Jersey won a cool million by matching all five white balls. The NJ ticket was sold in Sussex County at the 3 in 1 Deli on Hopatchung Road in Hopatcong, the New Jersey Lottery announced.
