If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.

Semiglutide Weight Loss Lantana, FL

Semaglutide Treatment in Lantana, FL

Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.

Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Lantana, FL, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.

However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.

If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.

What is Semaglutide Treatment in Lantana, FL?

If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.

You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."

Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.

Who Should Consider Semaglutide Therapy in Lantana, FL?

There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.

A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.

It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?

If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.

Healthy Eating Tips While Taking Semaglutide

As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Lantana, FL are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.

One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.

Eat Whole Foods

Eat Whole Foods

To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.

Be Mindful When You Eat

Be Mindful When You Eat

Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Keep Your Body Hydrated

To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.

Meal-Prepping

Use Meal Prepping to Your Advantage

Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.

Other Peptide Therapies and Medicines for Medical Weight Loss in Lantana, FL

Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.

Semiglutide Weight Loss Lantana, FL

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.

What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.

Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.

Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Damaged Cartilage
  • Arthritis
 Medical Weight Loss Lantana, FL

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.

This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.

That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.

Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Reduction in Body Fat
  • Boosted Metabolism
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Immune System
  • More

MIC Injections for Weight Loss

A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.

When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.

Phentermine for Weight Loss

Like other weight loss peptides and medicines on this page, Phentermine can help you lose weight when you stick to a medical weight loss plan that includes dieting, exercise, and smart life choices. It does so by reducing your appetite, which limits the number of calories you eat every day.

As is the case with Semaglutide, Phentermine has been approved by the FDA and is supported by clinical studies that show it can support weight loss. With time, patience, and healthy living, this supplement may help you reach your wellness goals sooner than you thought possible.

7-Keto DHEA for Weight Loss

In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.

Much like Semaglutide treatment in Lantana, FL, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:

  • Weight Loss
  • Improvement to Lean Muscle Mass
  • Boosted Thyroid Activity
  • Enhanced Memory
  • Anti-Aging Treatment
  • Better Memory

South Florida drawbridge tender fired after raising bridge with car on it: report

LANTANA, Fla. - A South Florida drawbridge t...

LANTANA, Fla. - A South Florida drawbridge tender was reportedly fired after video showed how she raised a bridge with a car still on it.

Video of the incident, which was from October 2021, was obtained this week by WPTV through a public records request. This comes after a 79-year-old woman fell to her death from a Palm Beach County bridge in early February.

The video was taken at the Ocean Avenue Bridge in Lantana, also in Palm Beach County, on October 21.

A silver sedan can be seen driving onto the bridge with the gate then closing behind it. The vehicle then stops at the edge of the drawbridge span, near the bridge tender's tower; why the driver stopped there, however, is unclear.

Just over 30 seconds later, the video shows the drawbridge beginning to open, lifting the back of the vehicle while the car begins to rest on its front bumper.

PREVIOUS: Police identify victim who fell to her death from Florida drawbridge as 79-year-old woman

As the car precariously balances over the opening to the water below -- a 40-foot drop -- the panicked driver opens his car door, waving his arm in what appears to be an attempt to get someone's attention.

Eventually the bridge reaches full height, allowing gravity to slide the car forward. That's when the video shows the vehicle slamming back onto the pavement, but with the back tires stuck in the gap.

The unidentified driver could then be seen walking around his car while on his phone. Once the bridge starts to go back down, lifting the back tires back up, he then got back in the car and drove off.

WPTV reports that Palm Beach County terminated the bridge tender nearly 3 weeks after the incident for violating their safety protocols, which included visually inspecting the bridge spans. She told investigators that she did not see the vehicle until she closed the drawbridge.

LANTANA, Fla. —

Walk into Tomaso’s Magic Shop in Lantana at almost any time of any day, and Tomaso Morello will probably be there practicing his craft.

He can make coins disappear and then reappear, place a ball under a cup and pull it out of someone’s ear, and make random playing cards float in the air.

What he may not be able to do is keep his shop open.

“I’m going to see if I can stay,” Morello said. “I don’t know. I don’t know.”

Your neighborhood: Local coverage from WPBF 25 News

Tomaso’s Magic Shop opened in 2014 and was very successful. He was able to buy the place next door and expand his business to include a magic museum.

And then came 2020 and the coronavirus.

“Pandemic came, and I had to close up,” Morello said. “Couldn’t afford it. It was too much.”

Morello was forced to downsize. The shop stayed open, but business was slow, to say the least.

It’s recently picked up a little with magic shows and birthday parties. But it’s still nothing like it used to be.

And, Morello’s lease expires in a few months. His future is uncertain.

Around the country: National coverage from WPBF 25 News

Morello believes his shop is one of the few magic stores left in South Florida, and he knows it can disappear like a prop in one of his tricks.

He’s hoping he has one more trick up his sleeve to keep it open.

“This means everything,” Morello said of his shop. “I don’t want to go. I want to stay here. I like the way I have it here. I really do. I really do. And I don’t know what’s coming. I don’t know.”

Florida is known for lush, jungle-like landscapes that feature exotic plants and colorful blooms year-round. But its important to note that not all plants are good plants. In fact, Florida’s ecosystems are plagued by hundreds of invasive plant species that can cause serious problems for native plants and wildlife.

Here are 10 of the most problematic invasive plants in Florida.

1. SKUNKVINE

Paederia foetida, also called “skunkvine” is a thornless, woody vine that can grow up to 30 feet from a single root system and can climb trees, shrubs or anything else it encounters. As the name suggests, this invasive weed also stinks to high heaven. Skunkvine can be found in at least 17 counties in central and north Florida.

Skunkvine can weigh down tree limbs to the point that they break, and its leaves block out light, starving vegetation on the ground. It was introduced to Hernando County from Asia sometime around 1897 and labeled a Category 1 species on the Florida Exotic Pest Plant Council’s List of Invasive Species in 1993.

2. BRAZILIAN PEPPER

Schinus terebinthifolius, or Brazilian pepper trees, are relatives of poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac. Contact with its leaves can cause a rash in people sensitive to its itch-inducing cousins. If that’s not bad enough, some people have also reported respiratory problems associated with the plants’ bloom period.

It was brought to Florida from Brazil (or Argentina or Paraguay) in the mid-1800s for use in gardens as an ornamental shrub, largely because of its festive red berries. It thrived in the state’s warm climate and quickly spread beyond garden gates and into the native landscape.

These days, Brazilian pepper infests more than 700,000 acres in Florida and is one of the most aggressive and widespread non-native plants. It can be found as far north as St. Johns County and as far west as Santa Rosa County.

Brazilian pepper crowds out native plants and provides a poor habitat for wildlife. It’s illegal to cultivate, transplant or transport these nuisance shrubs in Florida.

3. AUSTRALIAN PINE

In Florida, “Australian pine” refers to several species of trees belonging to the genus Casuarina. Despite the name, these evergreens are not pine trees at all, but they are native to Australia and southeast Asia.

Australian pines grow quickly and spread aggressively. They love sandy, salty and swampy places and will quickly colonize areas where native trees have been destroyed by hurricanes. They’ve also invaded South Florida’s hammock islands.

Because these trees have very shallow root systems, they tend to topple over in storms that native trees can easily withstand, which poses a threat to homes, people and evacuation routes during hurricanes. And Australian pines don’t support as many species of birds and wildlife as the native trees they’re crowding out.

4. MELALEUCA TREE

Towering melaleuca trees (that’s pronounced “mel-ah-LOO-cah” if you’ve never heard it spoken before) are native to Australia — where, ironically, they’re a cherished and protected native species. In Florida, not so much.

These trees just love the wet, nutrient-packed Everglades. So much so that some parts of our treasured glades have become vast, impenetrable forests of melaleuca trees. The wildlife there, which has evolved to live in the mostly-treeless ecosystem that comprises the native landscape, has no use for these huge trees. What’s more, melaleuca is highly flammable and its spread has increased the threat of wildfires in the areas it has colonized.

The rapid spread of the melaleuca forests threatens to drastically and permanently change the ecology of the Everglades.

5. OLD WORLD CLIMBING FERN

The Old World climbing fern, or Lygodium microphyllum, is another nuisance invader from down under. Much like skunkweed, this exotic fern’s fronds climb over everything, weighing down, crushing and shading out native plants.

Old World climbing fern was first introduced in Martin County in 1965. It now infests more than 200,000 acres in South and Central Florida. It enjoys our state’s warm and moist climate and thrives where bald cypress stands, mangrove communities and sawgrass marshes would normally grow. In the Everglades, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reports some tree islands have been completely smothered by Old World climbing fern.

6. WATER HYACINTH

If you’ve ever driven along a highway through Florida’s wetlands and you saw a perfectly level “meadow” covered with lush green plants boasting lavender flowers, you probably weren’t looking at land at all, but a pond covered with water hyacinth. Scientifically called Eichhornia crassipes, this floating plant is originally from South America.

In Florida, water hyacinth clogs canals and drainage channels, and overruns lakes ponds and slow-moving rivers. The plants on the surface block out the sunlight that feeds biologically-important aquatic grasses.

7. JAPANESE HONEYSUCKLE

Lonicera japonica, or Japanese honeysuckle, is popular in landscapes all over the eastern U.S., where it’s used as a ground cover to control erosion along highways, and in gardens. The downside is that it’s a climbing vine and will cover and choke anything in its way. In Florida’s complex and delicate ecosystems, Japanese honeysuckle can cause big problems.

The blooms have an attractive fragrance (and produce an edible nectar), but the sap can make humans sick or even kill cats and dogs. Despite this, the cultivation of Japanese honeysuckle is not prohibited in Florida.

8. LANTANA

Lantana camara, sometimes called “shrub verbena” is prized by gardeners for its brightly-colored flowers, but Florida farmers will tell you it’s a serious pest. This species is native to the West Indies and has successfully out-competed Florida’s native Lantana depressa variety to the point that the latter is listed as endangered.

Lantana decreases the productivity of the citrus groves and pastures where it likes to grow, and it’s toxic to cattle, pets and sometimes people. The plant is part of the poisonous Verbenacaea family and produces pentacyclic triterpenoids or toxins that attack the liver.

Growing lantana in your garden is not prohibited in Florida, though gardeners with pets or young children should consider a safer, native alternative like golden canna.

9. ROSARY PEA

Native to India, Abrus precatorius, or rosary pea, was introduced in Florida as an ornamental plant. The seeds contain abrin, which is one of the deadliest toxins in the world. Rosary pea is now found throughout Central and Southern Florida.

Like other climbing vines, rosary pea displaces native plants by competing for water and sunlight, and it can smother smaller native species. It readily colonizes areas that have been cleared by brush fires, preventing the regrowth of native species and further disrupting wildlife habitats.

10. CAMPHOR TREE

Camphor trees, or Cinnamomum camphorae, are large, attractively bulbous trees that are native to East Asia. You can identify them by their pointy leaves and shiny, berry-like fruit that turns dark purple or black as it ripens. These trees have been used ornamentally in Western gardens since the 18th century.

In Florida, you’ll find camphor trees in the Northern and Central counties, where they’ve become a nuisance. Happy to grow in salty marshes and sandy soil, camphor trees have been edging out native pines, cypress and hammocks.

Camphor berries and most parts of the tree are poisonous to humans and pets.

Water Tower Commons heading to Lantana

The Lantana Town Council may soon approve the first phase of residential development for the town’s much-ballyhooed mixed-use project: Water Tower Commons. The Town Council could act as soon as Sept. 12 on the plan for 15 three-story apartment buildings with 360 apartments, Mike Langolf, managing director of Boca-Raton based Southeast Legacy, told The Real Deal.

Southeast Legacy, which is headed by Ken Endelson of Boca-based Kenco Communities, is developing the project, which is also owned by Wexford Capital of Greenwich, Connecticut.

Water Tower Commons occupies 73 acres of land on Lantana Road just east of I-95, sitting on the site of what used to be A.G. Holley State Hospital. The project has site plan approval for 1,091 residential units in total and 315,000 square feet of commercial space.

“Certainly for a little town like Lantana [12,000 residents], this is the biggest thing ever,” Chris Fleming, a senior broker for Strategic Realty Services in West Palm Beach, told TRD.

“The big story is the dynamic effect this will have on the town,” he added.

By signing up, you agree to TheRealDeal Terms of Use and acknowledge the data practices in our Privacy Policy.

Overall, Water Tower Commons represents one of the biggest mixed-use project going up in South Florida, he said.

The 360 apartments are aimed to be upscale and oriented toward young families, Langolf said. But the fact that they are walk-ups in low-rise buildings with surface parking in Lantana allows for a lower rent than luxury apartments in Delray Beach or West Palm Beach. Rent will be $1.65 to $1.70 a square foot, totaling $1,500-$2,000 a month for one-, two- and three-bedroom units.

“The biggest segment of the rental market with unmet demand is working class,” Marc deBaptiste, vice chairman of ARA Newmark, a multi-family housing specialist in Boca Raton, told TRD. “To have new product within reach of that market, this should do very well.”

Langolf said residents will be attracted to the project’s proximity to I-95, the ocean, West Palm Beach, Delray Beach and Boca Raton. He hopes construction can start between March 31 and June 30 and then finish about 18 months later.

The developers already have approval for the commercial section of their project, including a supermarket, fitness center, pharmacy and restaurants. Langolf can’t name any tenants yet. But he said construction should begin next month, and he hopes to begin completing buildings by the end of next year.
