Did you know that more than 40% of adults in the United States suffer from obesity? Unfortunately, there is no miracle cure for this condition. Perhaps worse is that more and more adults and children are gaining weight across the country, choosing the convenience of fast and nutrition-deficient foods over healthy eating, exercise, and positive life choices. From an aesthetic standpoint, being overweight is a struggle - clothes don't fit right, people make uncomfortable comments about how you look, and everyday activities are less appealing.
From a health and wellness standpoint, however, being obese is much worse. Your life is literally on the line. The people who love you and depend on you to be in their lives could lose you sooner than you expect. With time, you have a higher chance of suffering from significant, life-changing issues such as:
While obesity is a serious problem, a new medication on the market is giving hope to millions of men and women across the U.S. This game-changing treatment is called Semaglutide in Mahwah, NJ. This anti-obesity medication is unique because it treats obesity as a chronic metabolic disease, rather than a problem that can be solved through sheer willpower. The best part? Semaglutide and other medical weight-loss peptides are now available at Global Life Rejuvenation.
At Global Life Rejuvenation, we understand that losing weight is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Our medical weight loss clinic offers custom medical weight loss plans tailored to your body, rather than plans based solely on your age or weight. In fact, our team of doctors and practitioners provides personalized guidance to help you achieve real results and live a healthier life.
Because the truth is maintaining good health and fitness are crucial in the modern world. Research has shown that viruses and diseases are more likely to affect those who are overweight and unhealthy. At Global Life Rejuvenation, we take a comprehensive, custom approach to medical weight loss that includes peptide therapy and more. We then work with you to make positive lifestyle changes, so you can lose weight, get healthy, and boost your wellbeing permanently - not for a few weeks or months.
If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.
Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.
Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Mahwah, NJ, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.
However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.
If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.
If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.
You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."
Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.
When combined with healthy lifestyle choices like diet and exercise, Semaglutide can help provide:
There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.
A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.
It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?
If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.
As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Mahwah, NJ are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.
One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.
To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.
Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.
To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.
Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.
Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.
Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.
What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.
Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.
Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:
This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.
This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.
That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.
Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:
A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.
When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.Request Appointment
Like other weight loss peptides and medicines on this page, Phentermine can help you lose weight when you stick to a medical weight loss plan that includes dieting, exercise, and smart life choices. It does so by reducing your appetite, which limits the number of calories you eat every day.
As is the case with Semaglutide, Phentermine has been approved by the FDA and is supported by clinical studies that show it can support weight loss. With time, patience, and healthy living, this supplement may help you reach your wellness goals sooner than you thought possible.Request Appointment
In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.
Much like Semaglutide treatment in Mahwah, NJ, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:
Have you tried everything under the sun to try and eliminate the cellulite on your legs, arms, and other areas of your body? If you're like most people, getting rid of cellulite isn't just difficult - it's nearly impossible. Fortunately, those days are over. Lipo Sculpt Cream from Global Life Rejuvenation can help reduce the unsightly appearance of cellulite while also refining your figure and firming up your skin.
The active ingredients in this product have the ability to reduce and prevent the growth of fatty tissue while also improving microcirculation. They work together to treat both adipose and aqueous cellulite, and aid in the elimination of fatty deposits and excess water stored in the tissues. This results in a reduction of dimples and an overall improvement in the appearance of your skin.
If you have experienced success with a medical weight loss plan and reached your target weight but still suffer from cellulite, Lipo Sculpt Cream is a fantastic choice to consider. A few of the most common benefits include:

RAMSEY − Kyle McGuire’s game-winning field goal traveled 18 yards to get through the uprights.
The Ramsey senior then traveled 100 yards in the other direction.
The Rams outlasted Mahwah, 17-14, in Friday night’s Super Football Conference American Red game at DePuyt Field. They not only bested their rival for the fourth year in a row, but also helped their North Group 2 playoff cause.
Luca Gemma carried five times for 47 yards on the winning drive and brought the ball to the 1-yard line with two seconds left. After Ramsey (3-4) called time out, McGuire broke the 14-all tie and sprinted across the field in celebration, ending up in the opposite end zone with teammates piling on.
"I just started running wherever my legs took me once I saw it go in," he said. "Oh, what a feeling it is."
Check out the photo gallery, then continue reading.
McGuire lined up for the field goal having made 12 of 13 kicks this season ? all extra points.
"This is his first year of varsity," Rams coach Adam Baeira said. "Everyone has a moment when their number's called, and that was his moment. I'm just so proud of him, because he deserved it.
"He won't forget this one for a long time."
Ramsey entered the weekend holding the 16th and final playoff spot in the North Group 2 United Power Rankings, while Mahwah (4-2) was eighth.
The Rams also climbed into second place behind unbeaten Westwood in the SFC American Red Division. But much of the postgame buzz was about the neighborhood rivalry, which has belonged to Ramsey since Baeira took over in 2020.
"We circled this game from the beginning of the year, and our team just played our hearts out," McGuire said. "To be in a spotlight like this and make a play like that, it's just great."
Ramsey's two scoring drives totaled three plays. Gemma broke off an 80-yard run to set up Justus Favata's 13-yard touchdown pass to Roberto Cotes early in the second quarter, and the same duo hooked up for a 28-yard TD one play after a fourth-down stop midway through the third.
Mahwah got several big plays from senior Joseph DeMarco (two TDs), including a 43-yard reception to help put them into Rams territory late in the game. The home team thwarted that drive by forcing a fourth-down incompletion with 2:49 remaining.
This was the next-door neighbors' closest game since 2014. That year, Mahwah's Patrick Cowan kicked a 41-yard field goal as time ran out to help the Thunderbirds celebrate a 17-16 win on their home field.
That was part of a run of eight straight Mahwah wins in the series. The T-Birds still lead the all-time series, 30-24-1.
? Gemma led the offense (18 carries, 189 yards) and defense (9 tackles) and answered a 64-yard Mahwah punt with a 62-yarder of his own... all despite a sore knee that bothered him throughout the week.
? Favata completed 9-of-14 passes for 100 yards and two TDs and played turnover-free football, as did his T-Bird counterpart David Kobobel (6-of-12, 111 yards, 1 TD).
? DeMarco gained 84 yards on 8 touches (rushing/receiving combined), while Preston Duffy shouldered the Mahwah rushing load with 107 yards on 24 carries.
? Ramsey linebackers David Larsen and Mason Gonzalez combined for 15 tackles and 1½ sacks.
Ramsey hosts North Group 2 contender Newton next Friday, while Mahwah visits Group 3 Paramus the same night.

Expectations have been high for Kyle Teel since he first put on a baseball uniform at Mahwah High School as a freshman in the spring of 2017.
A talented player who played any position asked of him by Mahwah coach Jeff Remo, Teel excelled during a high school career that saw him named the 2020 New Jersey Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year.
He went to the University of Virginia, where expectations were even higher as the top-ranked baseball player from the Garden State. And just like he did at Mahwah, Teel excelled, emerging as one of the best college players in the country.
And on Sunday, Teel found out what the next step of his career holds for him.
Teel — a former standout at Mahwah High School and an All-American catcher at Virginia — was selected by the Boston Red Sox with the 14th overall pick of the 2023 MLB Draft on Sunday.
The slot value of the 14th pick is $4,663,100.
“It’s a dream come true,” Teel said during a Zoom availability with media members after he was selected. “I’ve always wanted to be a pro baseball player, and I’m so excited and ready to get to work.”
Teel said he has a relationship with the Red Sox organization dating back to when he was playing at Mahwah. He had a chance to be drafted following his senior season at Mahwah, but decided to attend Virginia.
The decision paid off, as he emerged as one of the best players in the country this season at Virginia.
Teel, who wrapped up his junior season, was the 2023 ACC Player of the Year and the recipient of the Buster Posey Award, given annually to the top catcher in college baseball.
He was a First-Team All-American by five college baseball publications and a First-Team All-ACC selection. Teel hit .407 with a .475 OBP, 13 home runs, 69 RBIs, 105 hits, 67 runs scored and 25 doubles this spring. He ends his college career as a .343 hitter with 28 home runs, 155 RBIs, 236 hits and 170 runs scored.
MLB.com had ranked Teel as the seventh overall prospect in the draft.
“I think I developed a ton in college, and I think betting on myself was the best decision I could’ve ever made,” Teel said. “Thanks again to the UVA coaches and my teammates. We push each other every day to get better and I think that I’ve improved greatly since going to college.”
Remo, who was drafted back in 1980 by the Chicago Cubs, knew Teel was going to be a special player when he stepped on Mahwah’s field the first time.
“When he played for me as a freshman, he started for me as a freshman, and I’ve been coaching for over 30 years and I’ve coached some good baseball players, some D-I players, but I said this kid is going to play in the big leagues one day,” Remo told NJ Advance Media before the draft. “I knew he was going to be very successful. What he accomplished this year, he got the Buster Posey Award, Player of the Year in the ACC.
“If you told me he was going to do that, I wouldn’t believe you, but he’s really accomplished a great deal in his three years at Virginia.”
Teel was an NJ.com Second-Team All-State selection at shortstop in 2019, along with playing catcher and outfield. He batted .574 with eight homers and 31 RBIs and served as Mahwah’s closer, picking up three wins in relief.
His senior season in 2020 was cut short because of the pandemic, potentially robbing him of an even greater senior season.
“Coach Remo has been a huge influence on my career and he’s just always been on my side and coached me up. Just huge thanks to him. He really helped me get where I’m at today,” Teel said.
But Teel flourished at Virginia, earning freshman All-American honors from numerous publications. He was also a Third-Team All-ACC selection as a designated hitter as a rookie.
Teel started all of Virginia’s 58 games at catcher as a sophomore in 2022, hitting .276 with six home runs and 45 RBIs.
Teel said he grew up a New York Yankees fan, but will be on the other side of the rivalry as he begins his professional career.
“Growing up, it’s kind of funny because I was a Yankees fan, but now I bleed red, so I’m excited to get going,” Teel said. “I’m just so excited. Now, it’s time to get to work, and I can’t wait.”

MAHWAH — The owner of the historic Crocker Mansion has been charged with masterminding an elaborate scheme in which he allegedly cheated thousands of online followers out of more than $1 billion, authorities said.
Ho Wan Kwok, better known as Miles Guo, used the money he stole to float his extravagant lifestyle and that of his family, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
The 120-year-old estate on Ramapo Valley Road, which sold for $26 million in December 2021, is part of a long list of Guo’s property and hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. currency seized by the federal government in the past seven months.
The list also includes a 98-inch TV, a Bösendorfer grand piano and multiple high-end sports cars — merchandise that authorities claim was purchased with misappropriated funds.
Guo and his financier, Kin Ming Je, or William Je, were charged with bank fraud, money laundering, securities fraud and wire fraud in a 12-count indictment unsealed in federal court.
Guo, who is exiled from his native China, is an associate of former White House adviser Steve Bannon and, reportedly, a member of The Mar-a-Lago Club, owned by former President Donald Trump, in Palm Beach, Florida.
In recent years, authorities said, the tycoon established organizations known as the Rule of Law Foundation and the Rule of Law Society to amass a following that aligned with his purported campaign against the Chinese Communist Party.
An investigation by the FBI found he began conspiring with Je five years ago and that, as the leader of the plot, he “lied to his victims” and “promised outsized returns” if they invested in his businesses.
But those entities, authorities said, were fronts for a complex web of deceit.
One such business, referred to in the 38-page indictment as GTV, was promoted as the first platform to combine citizen journalism with artificial intelligence and state-of-the-art technology.
Story continues below gallery.
Guo and Je fraudulently obtained $452 million in victim funds through a private offering of GTV stock in April 2020, authorities said. More than 5,500 stockholders invested in the company with the belief that their money would be used to grow the business, they said.
Most of the proceeds were deposited into personal bank accounts, authorities said. And a good portion of the money raised from investors was placed with a high-risk hedge fund to benefit the duo and their co-conspirators, they said.
Other entities, including an exchange program for a phony type of cryptocurrency called the Himalaya Coin and the Himalaya Dollar, were mere instruments that Guo and Je created to perpetrate their fraud, authorities said.
To conceal the source of their funding, authorities said, the duo transferred the money to hundreds of bank accounts held in the names of at least 80 individuals and organizations in the Bahamas, the United Arab Emirates and the U.S.
Authorities said Guo and Je evaded enforcement of anti-money laundering laws and bankruptcy laws by retaliating against those who demanded the return of their invested funds.

MAHWAH, NJ — Want to see a popular film and TV actress answer questions and help out high school students?
As part of a fundraiser next week, Cara Buono, who has appeared on "Stranger Things," "The Sopranos," and "Mad Men," will appear at Mahwah High School for an "inspirational celebrity conversation," according to organizers. Tickets are for sale for the general public to attend.
Money raised through the event will support Mahwah High School scholarships for students involved in art and filmmaking.
The event, scheduled for Saturday night, Oct. 28, came about because a group of filmmakers from Mahwah have been involved in a film a project in the area involving Buono.
North Jersey resident Jeff Marchetti, an actor with more than 35 years of experience in film and TV, is executive producer of an upcoming film called "The Stray," which has filmed around Mahwah. Current and past Mahwah High School students helped work on the project as well.
At the event, Marchetti will ask Buono questions in the style of "Inside the Actors' Studio," but the audience will be allowed to ask questions as well.
"We believe you'll find it inspiring to hear how a young lady who was born in the Bronx to a simple blue collar family had enough drive, confidence, and determination in herself to earn her first professional role before she was even a teenager," organizers said. "Remarkably, Cara Buono was able to carry that positive energy throughout her entire career."
Organizers said that "Stranger Things" fans are encouraged to dress as their favorite character form the show, and there will be prizes for the most creative.
"Ask questions, hear stories, watch clips, enjoy snacks," organizers said.
The event will take place the last Saturday of the month, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m., with a special VIP preview starting at 6:30 p.m. (See details of both events here).

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — More than two dozen New Jersey locations of Boston Market, including nine in Bergen County, have been ordered to temporarily stop operating after a state investigation found "multiple violations of workers’ rights," the state said on Tuesday.
The company owes more than $600,000 in back wages to 314 workers, according to the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL).
Boston Market may have to pay more than $2.5 million in back wages, fees, and damages, which officials assessed to parent company Boston Chicken of NJ, LLC.
A Boston Market worker in Hamilton (Mercer County) submitted a complaint last November to the department's Division of Wage and Hour and Compliance that prompted an investigation, state officials said.
Since the state began investigating, NJDOL officials said the division received close to three dozen more complaints about several New Jersey Boston Market locations.
Citations included unpaid/late payment of wages, hindrance of the investigation, failure to pay minimum wage, records violations, failure to pay earned sick leave, and failure to maintain records for earned sick leave, said the NJDOL.
The NJDOL’s Division of Wage and Hour and Contract Compliance has the authority to immediately halt work at any public or private worksite when an investigation finds evidence that an employer may have violated state wage, benefit or tax laws.
Boston Market has requested a hearing to appeal the order, said the NJDOL on Tuesday, Aug. 15.
The state Department of Labor continues to monitor locations where stop-work orders have been issued, and can assess civil penalties of $5,000 per day against an employer conducting business in violation of the order.

A call to the Mahwah location at (201) 828-9399 on Wednesday was answered with a recording saying that catering requests are handled by the website, and callers could press 1 to speak to the local restaurant. That option went unanswered.
Here is a complete list of Boston Market locations that were issued a stop-work order, according to the NJDOL. To see if your local restaurant is open, give them a call or check the Boston Market website.
