If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.

Semaglutide Treatment in Montvale, NJ

Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.

Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Montvale, NJ, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.

However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.

If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.

What is Semaglutide Treatment in Montvale, NJ?

If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.

You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."

Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.

Who Should Consider Semaglutide Therapy in Montvale, NJ?

There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.

A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.

It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?

If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.

Healthy Eating Tips While Taking Semaglutide

As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Montvale, NJ are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.

One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.

Eat Whole Foods

Eat Whole Foods

To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.

Be Mindful When You Eat

Be Mindful When You Eat

Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Keep Your Body Hydrated

To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.

Meal-Prepping

Use Meal Prepping to Your Advantage

Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.

Other Peptide Therapies and Medicines for Medical Weight Loss in Montvale, NJ

Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.

Semiglutide Weight Loss Montvale, NJ

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.

What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.

Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.

Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Damaged Cartilage
  • Arthritis

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.

This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.

That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.

Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Reduction in Body Fat
  • Boosted Metabolism
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Immune System
  • More

MIC Injections for Weight Loss

A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.

When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.

Phentermine for Weight Loss

Like other weight loss peptides and medicines on this page, Phentermine can help you lose weight when you stick to a medical weight loss plan that includes dieting, exercise, and smart life choices. It does so by reducing your appetite, which limits the number of calories you eat every day.

As is the case with Semaglutide, Phentermine has been approved by the FDA and is supported by clinical studies that show it can support weight loss. With time, patience, and healthy living, this supplement may help you reach your wellness goals sooner than you thought possible.

7-Keto DHEA for Weight Loss

In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.

Much like Semaglutide treatment in Montvale, NJ, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:

  • Weight Loss
  • Improvement to Lean Muscle Mass
  • Boosted Thyroid Activity
  • Enhanced Memory
  • Anti-Aging Treatment
  • Better Memory

YOUNGSTOWN (Ohio) – Will Barbieri wasn’t sure which season-opening road trip he enjoyed more, but they both ended just the way he wanted: with convincing wins for St. Joseph Regional.

“I can’t really choose,” said the Green Knights junior safety. “I loved both.”

A week after going down to North Carolina and posting an impressive win over Christ School, the Green Knights went west to Ohio Saturday and pounded Michigan power Cass Tech, 49-14, at Stambaugh Stadium on the campus of Youngstown State.

The Green Knights scored touchdowns on five straight possessions in the first half, with quarterback Patrick Grusser throwing for three and running for one. St. Joe’s also forced two turnovers and blocked a punt in the second half with Jovon Williams scooping it up and running it back 11 yards.

“I like the way we’re playing, we’re playing fast,” said Green Knights coach Dan Marangi. “I like the way we are getting after it. I told them to be relentless in everything we do.”

Cass Tech features standout quarterback/receiver Corey Sadler Jr. but the Green Knights defense held him in check except for one burst in the first half, when he caught three passes on a single drive to set up a score.

What it means

The Green Knights, No. 2 in the USA Today Network New Jersey Non-Public Top 10, are 2-0 and may have fixed a porous defense that was their undoing last year. Last year, the Green Knights allowed 14 or less points only twice all season. This year it’s already happened twice.

All throughout the off-season, Marangi said improving the defense was the goal. Saturday, they only allowed 164 yards and one score – Cass Tech’s other TD came on a kickoff return.

“Everyone wants to run to the ball,” said Barbieri. “Last year, I don’t really think we had that. Our defense is really flying around making plays.”

Marangi is pleased, but said there’s still work to do.

“I think just the attitude they are playing with, play fast, play physical, that’s what we want our M.O. to be,” Marangi said. “We have a long way to go. I like what I have seen so far, but we have to clean up some of the fundamentals, and if we don’t clean it up it will come back to bite us.”

Turning point

There was an interesting sequence early in the second quarter with St. Joe’s up 21-0 and Cass Tech going for it on fourth-and-one at their own 29. First the Technicians (yes, that’s their nickname) tried to get the Green Knights to jump offsides. Then they called timeout.

Cass Tech got back out on the field and then the Green Knights called timeout. During the break, Marangi told the defense to watch for Sadler Jr. on a quarterback iso. Sure enough, Sadler Jr. tried to run but Green Knights star defensive back Jahmir Joseph cut him down for a loss. A few plays later Yasin Willis scored to make it 28-0 for St. Joe’s.

The scene

Marangi said after the game that Green Knights talented wide receiver John Forster was held out with an injury, but would be back next week.

Back-up quarterback Monte Krkuti threw a touchdown pass to Mekhi Rossignol in the third quarter.

The Green Knights are 2-0 for the first time since 2019.

This was St. Joe’s first trip for a game to Ohio since 2014 when they lost to St. Edward 42-0.

Up next

The Green Knights finally return home to face rival Don Bosco Saturday at Karcich Field. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.

“It’s always a fight,” Marangi said about facing a school where he was a defensive coordinator for almost two decades. “It will go down to the wire and be a physical, smashmouth game.”

In 2023, they could have a new quarterback under center with DePaul transfer Patrick Grusser, and they will return one of North Jersey’s top recruits in running back Yasin Willis.

The schedule includes St. Joseph's first trip to North Carolina in Week 0, and a visit from a Florida school in Week 1.

Here’s a game-by-game look at the Green Knights' 2023 schedule. The Green Knights will have a bye in Week 6. Times and locations are still subject to change.

Aug. 25 or 26: at Christ School (N.C.), TBA

Arden, North Carolina, the home of Christ School, is 718 miles from the St. Joe’s campus in Montvale. The Greenies went 6-6 last season and feature four-star recruit Cayden Jones at linebacker (offers from Alabama, Kentucky and Duke). The school lists an enrollment of fewer than 300.

It will be the first meeting between the two schools and the first time the Green Knights have played in North Carolina. Under Marangi, the Green Knights are 1-2 against out-of-state teams, losing to Good Counsel (Md.) twice and beating St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) last year.

Sept 2: vs. Blanche Ely (Florida), 1 p.m.

The Tigers were 10-1 last year, losing in the Class 3M semifinals to St. Thomas Aquinas one year after going 1-9. The Tigers have a pair of talented wide receivers in Marcel and Marcus Williams. This will be the first time the Green Knights have played a team from Florida since 2018, when they lost to American Heritage, 20-17, on the road.

Sept. 9: vs. Don Bosco, 1 p.m.

This has turned into one of North Jersey’s fiercest rivalries with Marangi’s connections to Don Bosco, where he was a longtime assistant coach. The Ironmen have won four of the last six meetings, including a 44-35 triumph in Ramsey in 2022.

Sept. 15: at St. Anthony’s (N.Y.), 7 p.m.

Both teams lit up the Rutgers scoreboard during their 2022 Battle For the Bridge encounter, with the Green Knights coming out on top 63-49. It was the most points the Green Knights scored since they put 63 on the board against Belleville in 1997. These teams played four straight years (1998-2001) with St. Joe’s winning three.

Sept. 23: at St. Peter’s Prep, 1 p.m.

The Green Knights have won four of the last six match-ups with the Marauders, but lost on a late touchdown in Week 4 last year, 41-38. It was the first time St. Peter’s Prep won in Montvale since 2008.

Sept. 30: vs. Donovan Catholic, 1 p.m.

The Griffins and Green Knights met for the first time last year at MetLife Stadium, with the Green Knights rolling to a 41-13 win, scoring on offense, defense and special teams. Donovan Catholic went 6-4 last year.

Oct. 14: at Bergen Catholic, 1 p.m.

The Green Knights haven’t beaten the Crusaders since 2019, a string of three straight. Last year in Oradell, Bergen Catholic opened up a big first-half lead before downing the Green Knights 31-21.

Oct. 21: vs. Seton Hall Prep, 1 p.m.

The Green Knights and Pirates played twice last year, with St. Joe’s winning 42-17 in the regular season but losing 34-30 in the playoffs on a Pirates' TD pass with 7.4 seconds to play. Seton Hall Prep leads the all-time series 9-4.

Oct. 28: at Delbarton, 1 p.m.

This was one of the best games of the North Jersey football season last year when the Green Knights batted away a two-point pass attempt in overtime to edge the Green Wave, 28-27, in the regular season finale. Delbarton hasn’t beaten St. Joe’s since 1994.

ORADELL – What was once unthinkable finally happened on Wednesday night.

St. Joseph took down national power Bergen Catholic on a night when both wrestling teams were at full strength.

Senior Jim Mullen collected his 100th career win and led the second-ranked Green Knights past their archrivals, 34-21, to become the first Bergen County team in over a decade to beat the Crusaders in a dual.

The turning point came at 215 when Aidan Schlett beat state finalist and former teammate AJ Fricchione on a takedown in sudden victory. It sent the visitors on the way to their first win over No. 1 Bergen Catholic in 25 years.

"We've been striving to get to the level that Bergen Catholic has been at for a while," coach Tom Farinaro said.

"When I got here five years ago, that was the mark. Bergen was the mark. They were the No. 1 team that we try to emulate and get to. Tonight was a lot of years of putting this together and believing in what we're doing here. It's a great night."

The Green Knights hit the mark by winning eight bouts and clinching on Johnathon McGinty's one-point loss in the penultimate bout. It validated their title run at the Bergen County tournament on Sunday when the Crusaders were short-handed.

Scaling the mountain took a dominant display in the upper-weights with Ryan Burton (165) starting a run of five straight wins along with brothers Rocco (175) and Michael Dellagatta (190).

The magnitude of the night could be felt about a half-hour before the match with the parking lot filled to capacity and cars lining Oradell Avenue like a Saturday in the fall. There wasn't an empty seat to be had by the time Bergen Catholic's Brian Melamud met Vinny Paino in the opening bout.

"This is my first time being in an environment like this," South Carolina transfer Yannis Charles said. "Jimmy and the whole team told me it was insane. I thought they were hyping it a little bit but as soon as I walked in with everybody here, I was like, damn. This is insane. I've never seen anything like it in my life."

What it means

The No. 1 ranking in North Jersey is about to change hands for the first time in a long time.

Bergen Catholic had won 67 straight matches against in-county opponents since falling to Don Bosco and former coach Nunzio Campanile in the 2010 state sectional finals.

And while the Green Knights outscored everyone at the Bergen County Tournament this year, their championship came with a small caveat – none of Bergen Catholic's six state medalists took the mat in Suffern with coach Dave Bell sending out a team full of backups.

In the end, St. Joseph carried over the success into the dual setting after three straight losses to Bergen Catholic by between five and 15 points.

"It was getting these kids to buy in and believe in the system and being a brotherhood," Farinaro said. "It's knowing that if we wrestle together as a team, there's nothing we can't accomplish."

Turning points

Bergen Catholic gained the advantage up top with Melamud dropping down to 120 in his first appearance since Dec. 29. Melamud opened the night with a 4-2 decision over Paino in a battle of Bergen County champions.

The Crusaders extended their lead with August Hibler (138) knocking off No. 1 Mateo Sgambellone by a 7-1 score and Chris Bacchioni accepting a forfeit at 150. Aidan Wallace (157) overpowered state medalist Frank DiBella in the next bout to give Bergen Catholic a 18-7 lead at the halfway point.

The tide started to swing in the Green Knights' favor at 175. That's when sophomore Rocco Dellagatta beat Bergen Catholic's Justin Onello, 1-0, on an escape to avenge two losses from a year ago.

"Once we got up to 165 and I saw it was a close dual, I knew it was going to be our match," Mullen said. "We have a murderer's row right there."

A technical fall by Michael Dellagatta gave St. Joseph its first lead at 19-18 with four bouts to go.

Schett followed it up with what he called the biggest win of his career. The Glen Rock native traded escapes with the Penn State-bound Fricchione before pulling away for a 3-1 overtime decision.

"I wrapped him in a body lock and squeezed for my life," Schlett said, after avenging a county tournament loss from last year.

Bergen Catholic's Nathan Braun handed the top-ranked McGinty a 1-0 loss at 106, but the St. Joseph freshman still sealed the deal by avoiding any bonus points with one bout to go. One reason for the cushion was a milestone pin from the two-time state champion Mullen (285).

"It sucked losing in the Escape the Rock finals, but on the bus ride home, my coached looked at me and said hey, the bright side is your 100th win will be against Bergen Catholic now," Mullen said.

ATLANTIC CITY — Michael Dellagatta will need a new phone background and a place to store his gold medal.

The Frisco kid is finally a New Jersey state champion.

The St. Joseph senior overcame years of close calls and a tough finals opponent, beating Anthony Harris (St. Peter's Prep), 6-3, in Saturday's title match at 190 pounds.

Dellagatta came onto the mat with confidence, then set the tone by scoring first.

"I don't have words," Dellagatta said. "I prayed to God every night. I write it on my wall. It's my background on my phone, all the losses that I took."

Dellagatta (39-3) moved from the Dallas suburb of Frisco in eighth grade and still remembers people laughing when he talked about winning a state title freshman year.

For three years, Dellagatta came close but wasn't quite able to prove them wrong. Dellagatta placed fourth as a freshman and third the next two years.

The Cornell commit said he was crushed last year after expecting to win and then falling to eventual champion Harvey Ludington of Brick Memorial.

"That one pushed me to get over the goal," Dellagatta said. "I work out with him three times a week too."

Dellagatta never looked back on Saturday after scoring a takedown 15 seconds into the championship bout. The Old Tappan native extended his lead in the second period with an escape and another takedown. It wasn't until roughly a minute left when Harris wrapped up Dellagatta for his first two points.

"I got taken down, which was sloppy, and had a stall point," Dellagatta said. "But a win is a win. I grinded it out. I'm so grateful for everything. New Jersey, I love it. Coming here in eighth grade, I've always loved this place."

Dellagatta was happy to complete the goal with his dad, Ricky, in the corner of the mat as the Green Knights' assistant coach. His brother, Rocco, was nearby too after placing fourth as a sophomore at 175.

"We fight in the room, like fist-fight, every day," Dellagatta said. "We grind to make each other better. My dad sits there and pulls out his phone and videos us. We go back and we watch it. It's awesome. I love it now. When you're doing it, it sucks. But for this, it's so worth it."

This weekend at Boardwalk Hall was the cherry on top for what's been a storybook season for the top seed.

Dellagatta gave the Green Knights their first group title in 25 years on a last-bout win over Delbarton. Now he goes down as the second Green Knight to reach the podium in all four years, along with three-time champion Damion Logan (1993-96).

Dellagatta finished as a three-time district and region champion with a career record of 122-12.

"In that match, I took the lap and I was unfazed," Dellagatta said. "I'm like, I'm doing it. I'm doing it. This is not happening to me again.

"I have family in South Jersey who's all right there (in the stands). I love them so much, man. They come to everything. We found St. Joe's was the closest thing to my house. Damion Logan and Tom Farinaro both said, 'C'mon, Mike, we'll take you in.' They turned me into a state place-winner."
