SOUDERTON, Pennsylvania (WABC) -- A tornado was confirmed in New Jersey overnight as the remnants of Tropical Depression Fred moved through the area.
Officials with the National Weather Service said a storm survey team has confirmed an EF-0 tornado occurred in Rockaway Township in Morris County.
An EF-0 tornado has wind speeds between 65 and 85 miles per hour.
Power crews have been working to make repairs to downed lines.
At least two other tornadoes were confirmed in parts of Pennsylvania.
Officials with the National Weather Service said a tornado occurred in Tilden Township, Berks County at about 9 p.m. Wednesday.
A storm survey team also confirmed an EF-1 tornado occurred from Souderton, Montgomery County to Silverdale/Perkasie, Bucks County at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
An EF-1 tornado has winds up to 110 miles per hour.
In Montgomery County, there were several reports of downed trees and wires along with damaged homes in the Souderton area, the National Weather Service said.
Video from the area showed siding ripped off numerous homes and debris scattered across front yards and small sheds could be seen flipped on their sides.

"It does correspond pretty well with the tornado warning we had last night," said Trent Davis with NWS Mt. Holly.
It was just a few weeks ago when New Jersey saw five tornados in one night, the second-biggest one-day tornado outbreak in the state in the past 71 years.

The best candy store in The Constitution State, according to the publication, is Fascia’s. Fascia’s Chocolates has been family owned since 1964 and continues to be operated by the continuing generations of the family.
All the candy is made in-house and in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. That means hand-stirring the chocolate in a copper kettle and cooling naturally on a marble slab.
The Fascias’ have been using the same Swiss-style chocolate for decades which includes their milk, white, semi, and bittersweet dark chocolates.

MORRIS TWP. - Many members of the County College of Morris Class of 2018 will continue their studies later this year at another school.
But Friday, it was time to march with a record number of graduates in CCM's 50th year for the school's 49th commencement at Mennen Arena.
"Today is not about hard work, it's about celebrating your hard work, and the very hard work of our talented and dedicated faculty," said CCM President Anthony Iacono in his welcoming remarks.
With family and friends cheering in the stands of the county-operated hockey arena, graduates like Alejandro Ramirez of Glen Gardner took their seats as a live band played the traditional "Pomp and Circumstance."

"I failed out of two previous colleges before this," said Ramirez, who was sporting red and orange sashes, respectively, for attaining cum laude status and entry into CCM's Phi Theta Kappa honor society.
Previous studies did not stimulate him, but immersing himself into mechanical engineering at CCM inspired Ramirez to excel on a track he will continue at NJIT.
He commuted from his Hunterdon County home to CCM because "Raritan Valley Community College did not offer a mechanical engineering degree."
Like many CCM students, Ramirez also appreciated the lower cost of starting out on the community college level.
"I went from $56,000 a year, to $5,000, so that was great," he said.
Parents in the audience were equally happy to witness the ceremony.
"My son, Zachary, is a 2016 graduate of Dover High, an Eagle Scout and he's graduating today in multimedia studies," said Mine Hill Mayor Sam Morris. "He wanted to stay close to home, and he also was concerned with expenses, so he said he wanted to start here and make sure it was the right track before he spent a lot of money at a much bigger school. He's a wise young man."
About 500 of 1,400 graduates attended the ceremony, one midyear graduate flying in from Oregon to participate. The 500 attending the ceremony is a school record. The 1,400 total also is believed to be a record for one year, but could not be confirmed by school officials.
Iacono singled out several individual students, including military veterans and Darrin Pulver, a third-generation CCM nursing graduate.
"He is joined today by his mother, Colleen, and his grandmother, Margaret, who are alums and and nursing professionals," Iacono said. "Darrin, thank you for making us CCM proud."
Chelsea Crytzer of Parsippany, who led the student procession in her wheelchair, said she chose CCM in part for its accessibility.
"They are very good compared to the other college I went to," said Crytzer, who earned her associate's degree in psychology and will study zoology at Beacon College in Florida. "I knew they had a lot of the accommodations I needed. I should have come here first."
Crytzer, who was born with spina bifida, also enjoyed participating in wheelchair sports at CCM.
"There's a track meet later today, and I have to go help out," she said.

Iacono also noted several achievements by the college over the past year, which included becoming the first community college in New Jersey to gain designation as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security.

Wawa is opening its newest store in Morris County.
Located at 28 Route 10 in East Hanover, the food and gas chain is scheduled to open its doors at 8 a.m. on May 18, offering free any-size coffee all day, along with a limited edition “Wawa Coffee, Hoagies & Kindness” T-shirt giveaway to the first 100 customers.
Opening day festivities will include an 8:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony with Wawa’s mascot, Wally Goose, along with appearances by New York Red Bulls player Bradley Wright-Phillips and the New York Red Bulls Freestyle Crew.
The new store’s built-to-order fresh food kitchen features Wawa’s signature hoagies and latest food innovations as well as coffee, baked goods and specialty beverages – all of which are available via mobile ordering, for curbside pickup and delivery.
Additionally, the location offers packaged goods, fuel services and Wawa’s new catering offering for workplaces.
According to Wawa, Mustafa Asali will serve as general manager of the new store. He will lead a team of 55 associates, all of which are new local positions that will receive competitive salaries, health benefits when eligible and participate in the company’s employee stock ownership plan.
In a statement, Chris Gheysens, Wawa’s president and chief executive officer, said, “At Wawa, our core purpose is fulfilling lives every day, and since our first store opened, we’ve believed that we all have a role in making this world a better place.”

This summer, Wawa will continue growing its New Jersey 260-plus-store footprint, with scheduled grand openings in Lakehurst (604 Pine St.), Ocean Township (Route 35 & Deal Road), Hamilton (55 Flock Road), Linden (Route 1 & South Park Avenue), Clementon (Blackwood Clementon Road & Cherrywood Drive), Mount Laurel (1115 Route 73) and Neptune (3520 Route 66).

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ - More than 1.52 million U.S. homes, including many in Morris County, are sitting empty, according to a new report by real estate data site Attom Data Solutions. Among these homes are several thousand so-called “zombies” — homes that are vacant and also in foreclosure.
The number of empty houses represents 1.5 percent of all homes in the United States, according to the report. To determine the percentage, Attom Data Solutions used county tax assessor data on more than 98 million single-family homes and condos from the first quarter of 2020, broken down by foreclosure and owner-occupancy status.
In Morris County, 1,001 homes are sitting vacant, according to the report, representing .67 percent of homes. Our area also has nine “zombie” foreclosures, or 1.01 percent of total foreclosures.
About 282,800 homes nationwide are in the process of foreclosure, the report says, with about 8,700 — or 3.1 percent — sitting empty as “zombie” foreclosures. The percentage is up from 3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2019.
The total number of properties in the process of foreclosure in the first quarter of 2020 is down 1.9 percent from the fourth quarter of 2019.
To create this year’s report, Attom Data Solutions analyzed metropolitan statistical areas with at least 100,000 single-family homes and condos, and counties with at least 50,000 single-family homes and condos.
