If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.

Semaglutide Treatment in Neshanic Station, NJ

Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.

Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Neshanic Station, NJ, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.

However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.

If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.

What is Semaglutide Treatment in Neshanic Station, NJ?

If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.

You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."

Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.

Who Should Consider Semaglutide Therapy in Neshanic Station, NJ?

There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.

A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.

It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?

If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.

Healthy Eating Tips While Taking Semaglutide

As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Neshanic Station, NJ are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.

One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.

Eat Whole Foods

Eat Whole Foods

To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.

Be Mindful When You Eat

Be Mindful When You Eat

Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Keep Your Body Hydrated

To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.

Meal-Prepping

Use Meal Prepping to Your Advantage

Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.

Other Peptide Therapies and Medicines for Medical Weight Loss in Neshanic Station, NJ

Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.

Semiglutide Weight Loss Neshanic Station, NJ

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.

What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.

Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.

Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Damaged Cartilage
  • Arthritis

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.

This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.

That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.

Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Reduction in Body Fat
  • Boosted Metabolism
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Immune System
  • More

MIC Injections for Weight Loss

A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.

When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.

Phentermine for Weight Loss

Like other weight loss peptides and medicines on this page, Phentermine can help you lose weight when you stick to a medical weight loss plan that includes dieting, exercise, and smart life choices. It does so by reducing your appetite, which limits the number of calories you eat every day.

As is the case with Semaglutide, Phentermine has been approved by the FDA and is supported by clinical studies that show it can support weight loss. With time, patience, and healthy living, this supplement may help you reach your wellness goals sooner than you thought possible.

7-Keto DHEA for Weight Loss

In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.

Much like Semaglutide treatment in Neshanic Station, NJ, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:

  • Weight Loss
  • Improvement to Lean Muscle Mass
  • Boosted Thyroid Activity
  • Enhanced Memory
  • Anti-Aging Treatment
  • Better Memory

BRANCHBURG – It's a debate for our time: are there inherent benefits to improving the country's infrastructure for delivering fossil fuels or are those improvements not necessary and will exacerbate the impacts of climate change and pose health risks?

That debate continued Thursday at Raritan Valley Community College at a state Department of Environmental Protection public hearing whether a permit should be granted to Williams-Transco to upgrade its natural gas compressor station on Case Road.

Compressor stations are placed along natural gas pipelines to maintain the pressure and flow of natural gas.

Most Branchburg residents are not aware there is a compressor station in the township. There's only a small sign on Case Road that's easily missed at the end of a long driveway with a secure gate and fence less than a mile from Neshanic Valley Golf Course.

Williams-Transco is seeking federal and state approval to upgrade the facility by replacing the compressor's old engines with gas-driven turbines which the company says are more efficient and will result in a 97% decrease in permitted air emissions.

The upgrade is part of the company's $800 million investment in its Regional Energy Access (REA) project in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, which includes no new pipelines in New Jersey, a new compressor station in Gloucester County and upgrades to another compressor station in Old Bridge.

The company says the project supports Gov. Phil Murphy's goal of 100% clean energy by 2050 by supplying power during the transition.

The company also says the Branchburg portion of the project will provide 132 union jobs and $175,000 in additional property tax revenue.

But opponents said in a rally before the hearing and during the hearing that the project is not needed, presents unnecessary health risks and perpetuates the state's dependence on fossil fuels.

"This proposal to burn even more dirty fossil fuel is an unnecessary health and public safety risk to families and businesses in the surrounding communities, many of whom have already been forced to bear the brunt of climate change and pollution,” Ed Potosnak, executive director of New Jersey League of Conservation Voters, said at the rally before the hearing. “This project would negatively affect communities throughout the state and drastically increase pollution. We can’t continue to rely on pipelines and compressor stations that maintain our dependence on dirty fossil fuels. Expansion isn’t appropriate to meet our needs today and into the future, and approval would be a step in the wrong direction when it comes to the future of the state’s energy economy. New Jersey must instead continue to transition to renewable energy.”

Postonak said the project is "one major step backwards" and he commended the state Board of Public Utilities for finding that the project is not necessary.

"It's bad for Branchburg, it's bad for New Jersey and it's bad for the world's climate," he said.

Somerset County Commissioner Melonie Marano said she has "deep concerns" about the project, whether it's necessary and whether it will stress the resources of Branchburg's volunteer firefighters. Marano also said the company has a "spotty safety record."

There was a flash fire at the compressor station in May 2013 where two people were taken to the hospital with injuries.

Township resident Teresa Callahan said Williams-Transco has an "abysmal safety record" and the DEP should not grant the permit.

"It's not acceptable for the DEP to gamble with residents' health," she said.

But members of unions said the project was necessary, would improve the environment and provide jobs.

“The permit in front of the NJDEP regarding upgrades to existing Station 505 as part of Williams’ REA project will result in significant and meaningful emissions reductions,” said Greg Lalevee, business manager of Operating Engineers Local 825. “What we have with REA is a well-designed infrastructure modernization project that will create local, union jobs and increase the reliability of our energy supply while supporting the state’s aggressive climate goals. DEP should approve this permit.”

“The REA project is a smart investment that will nearly eliminate emissions at the existing facility and create local union jobs,” saidCiro Scalera, director of government relations of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LiUNA).Williams has committed to using local, union labor to increase New Jersey’s energy supply and reduce emissions at the existing station by nearly 100%, without laying any new pipeline in the state."

But Matt Smith, New Jersey director of Food & Water Watch, said there were many jobs available in green energy and warned about the environmental consequences of fossil fuels.

"There are no jobs on a dead planet," he said.

Raymond Cantor, vice president of government affairs for the New Jersey Business and Industry Association, said it would be "easy" for the DEP to grant the permit because the projects meet all regulatory standards. He also said the upgrade to the compressor station would reduce emissions by 95% and deliver more gas to New Jersey without new pipelines.

Cantor also said the project would generate "good union jobs."

Opinion:New Jersey already said no to a gas pipeline once. We must say no to NESE again

A coalition of environmental groups sent a letter with 75 signatures on Thursday to Gov. Murphy to reject the project, saying that overall, the project would lead to a 16% increase in greenhouse gas emissions. The letter also said the project would bring "irreparable" harm to local communities.

Williams-Transco filed its application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in the first quarter of 2021. FERC is scheduled to issue its decision in November.

If approvals are given by FERC and the DEP, Williams-Transco estimates construction could begin in July 2023 be completed by the winter 2024.

BRANCHBURG - The Neshanic Flea Market is returning.

Starting June 8, the flea market will be held on the other side of Elm Street from its former location, which was at the foot of the historic bridge over the South Branch of the Raritan River.

The flea market, which is now sponsored and operated by the Neshanic United Methodist Church a few hundred feet away, will be held in the Firemen's Field owned by the Neshanic Volunteer Fire Department.

The flea market will be open 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays beginning June 8. It will be open, weather permitting, until October. Spaces will be $10 for vendors.

"We approached the fire department and they thought it was a great idea," said Alec Schibanoff, the church's lay leader.

READ: Somerset County, Branchburg buying Neshanic Flea Market property

The church used to have a table at the old flea market, Schibanoff said, where the congregation collected food and other donations for the Hillsborough Food Pantry. The church manned the table on Sunday mornings until 10 a.m., a half hour before services at the church built a century ago with a donation from James Buchanan Duke, the tobacco and utilities magnate who owned the Duke estate in Hillsborough.

Restrooms for the flea market will be at the church and Schibanoff said he hopes to have a couple of food trucks parked on Pearl Street by the church. There will also be picnic tables available at the church.

Schibanoff said he has visited other area flea markets and talked with some of the vendors who used to frequent the old market. Many of the vendors are interested in returning to Neshanic, he said, and then go to other markets on Sundays.

"I look forward to this as a challenge," he said.

Parking will be free in Firemen's Field. Overflow parking will be across Elm Street on the site of the former flea market where Somerset County has installed a gravel parking lot as part of its greenway along the South Branch of the Raritan River.

The popular flea market on the riverbank closed a few years ago. The sale of the old flea market property and the adjacent home was part of the settlement of the estate of Mary Stone Weiss, who had operated the flea market since 1970.

Somerset County and Branchburg Township split the $350,000 cost of buying the 3.2-acre property which has been subdivided with the county owning the portion nearest the river and the township owning the house.

The township will be auctioning the house in the hopes it will be restored. No date has been scheduled for the auction.

BRANCHBURG – Who says that a golf course has to be 7,500 yards long to be an enjoyable challenge?

The Somerset County Park Commission's nine-hole Academy Course at Neshanic Valley measures a maximum 2,019 yards with the longest hole at 323 yards.

Yet the course has been ranked the top short course in the United States by Golf Advisor, one of the leading online golf course ratings websites.

The Academy Course even broke into Golf Advisor's top 20 of all New Jersey public golf courses, coming in at No. 7.

Green fees at the Academy Course, which is designed specifically for beginners and more experienced golfers who want to sharpen their approach and short games, are relatively inexpensive for golfers registered with the county, $15 on weekdays and $19 on weekends.

The Academy Course joins its big brother on the South Branch Road property in the Top 20 of public courses in the state along with the park commission's Quail Brook in Franklin.

The regulation Neshanic Valley course has moved up two places in Golf Advisor's rating to 6 while Quail Brook remained at 20.

“Congratulations on the Somerset Courses being ranked in the top 20 NJ golf courses based on GolfAdvisor ratings,” wrote GolfAdvisor’s James Moscarello. “I know last year was a challenge; this recognition is a direct result of the hard work put forth by the entire county golf operation and is well deserved.”

Golf: PGA Championship at Neshanic Valley could bring $100 million to New Jersey

Somerset County:More parks, fields and trails? County takes an important step

Golf Advisor bases its Top 20 list on player ratings, weighting newer ratings and reviews to ensure that improvements are taken into account in the rankings.

Somerset County has a statewide and national reputation for its public courses, that also includes Green Knoll in Bridgewater, Warrenbrook in Warren and Spooky Brook in Franklin.

Somerset County has also touted Neshanic Valley as a longshot pick to host the 2022 PGA Championship, one of golf's four major professional golf tournaments, after the PGA decided to move the tournament from Trump National in Bedminster following the riot at the U.S. Capitol earlier this month.

“We here in Somerset County, players and personnel, know that our public courses are among the best in the Garden State,” said Geoffrey Soriano, director of the Somerset County Park Commission. “Our golf staff takes great care to maintain our courses at world class levels, and combines that commitment with challenging but fun course design that allow golfers of every level to enjoy 9 or 18 holes.”

Neshanic Valley and the Academy Course are currently open but may be closed due to winter weather. The courses are operating under COVID-19 pandemic restrictions for the protection of golfers and staff.

Quail Brook is open on a limited basis, predominantly on weekends depending on favorable weather conditions.

Lyle was the first American League reliever to capture a Cy Young Award (1977) and ranks among the all-time leaders with 238 career saves. He had a sixteen-year Major League career with the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Chicago White Sox. Lyle won back-to-back World Series with the Yankees in 1977 and 1978.

Lyle served as field manager for the Somerset Patriots from 1998 to 2012. Under his guidance, the Patriots won five Atlantic League Championships (2001, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009), 12 Half Championships, and eight Division Championships, winning over 1,000 games as manager. He was named the Atlantic League Manager of the Year three times (1999, 2003, 2009) in his 15-year managing career.

Lyle was named Manager Emeritus after the 2012 season, and now maintains an active role with the team at the ballpark and throughout the community.

The Pro Celebrity Tournament is played with groups of five golfers, with each group featuring a celebrity guest. Among the athletes who have participated in recent event are former New York Yankees Sparky Lyle, Goose Gossage, Rick Cerone, Graig Nettles, Tino Martinez and Tommy John; New York Giants Bart Oates, Karl Nelson, Stephen Baker, Bill Ard, Shaun O’Hara and OJ Anderson;

New York Jets Marty Lyons, Bruce Harper, and Kenny Schroy; Major League Baseball players including Mitch Williams, Art Shamsky, Gary Sheffield, Dan Plesac, and Al Santorini;

National Football League players include Ray Lucas, Shawn Mayer, Mike Rozier, Mike Quick, Jeremiah Trotter and Johnny Davis; heavyweight boxers Gerry Cooney and Larry Holmes; and former Rutgers Basketball Coach Eddie Jordan and Football Coach Chris Ash.

The Pro-Celebrity Tournament has raised in excess of $1.1 million for the Somerset County Park Foundation that supports a variety of Park Commission programs with a majority of funding dedicated to the Therapeutic Recreation Department.

Scholarships to Camp Okee Sunokee, a six-week summer day camp structured for children ages 6 through 13 who are classified with a learning disability or Asperger Syndrome, has historically been a primary beneficiary of the outing. Funds are also applied to park and recreation projects that may not otherwise be possible to fund without the support of the Pro-Celebrity event.

Registration for foursomes for the golf outing and the dinner only will be available at all five Somerset County golf courses. Information is available at www.somersetcountyparks.org or by calling 908-722-1200, ext. 5428.
