Did you know that more than 40% of adults in the United States suffer from obesity? Unfortunately, there is no miracle cure for this condition. Perhaps worse is that more and more adults and children are gaining weight across the country, choosing the convenience of fast and nutrition-deficient foods over healthy eating, exercise, and positive life choices. From an aesthetic standpoint, being overweight is a struggle - clothes don't fit right, people make uncomfortable comments about how you look, and everyday activities are less appealing.
From a health and wellness standpoint, however, being obese is much worse. Your life is literally on the line. The people who love you and depend on you to be in their lives could lose you sooner than you expect. With time, you have a higher chance of suffering from significant, life-changing issues such as:
While obesity is a serious problem, a new medication on the market is giving hope to millions of men and women across the U.S. This game-changing treatment is called Semaglutide in Pembroke Pines, FL. This anti-obesity medication is unique because it treats obesity as a chronic metabolic disease, rather than a problem that can be solved through sheer willpower. The best part? Semaglutide and other medical weight-loss peptides are now available at Global Life Rejuvenation.
At Global Life Rejuvenation, we understand that losing weight is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Our medical weight loss clinic offers custom medical weight loss plans tailored to your body, rather than plans based solely on your age or weight. In fact, our team of doctors and practitioners provides personalized guidance to help you achieve real results and live a healthier life.
Because the truth is maintaining good health and fitness are crucial in the modern world. Research has shown that viruses and diseases are more likely to affect those who are overweight and unhealthy. At Global Life Rejuvenation, we take a comprehensive, custom approach to medical weight loss that includes peptide therapy and more. We then work with you to make positive lifestyle changes, so you can lose weight, get healthy, and boost your wellbeing permanently - not for a few weeks or months.
If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.
Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.
Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Pembroke Pines, FL, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.
However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.
If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.
If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.
You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."
Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.
When combined with healthy lifestyle choices like diet and exercise, Semaglutide can help provide:
There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.
A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.
It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?
If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.
As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Pembroke Pines, FL are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.
One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.
To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.
Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.
To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.
Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.
Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.
Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.
What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.
Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.
Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:
This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.
This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.
That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.
Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:
A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.
When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.Request Appointment
Like other weight loss peptides and medicines on this page, Phentermine can help you lose weight when you stick to a medical weight loss plan that includes dieting, exercise, and smart life choices. It does so by reducing your appetite, which limits the number of calories you eat every day.
As is the case with Semaglutide, Phentermine has been approved by the FDA and is supported by clinical studies that show it can support weight loss. With time, patience, and healthy living, this supplement may help you reach your wellness goals sooner than you thought possible.Request Appointment
In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.
Much like Semaglutide treatment in Pembroke Pines, FL, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:
Have you tried everything under the sun to try and eliminate the cellulite on your legs, arms, and other areas of your body? If you're like most people, getting rid of cellulite isn't just difficult - it's nearly impossible. Fortunately, those days are over. Lipo Sculpt Cream from Global Life Rejuvenation can help reduce the unsightly appearance of cellulite while also refining your figure and firming up your skin.
The active ingredients in this product have the ability to reduce and prevent the growth of fatty tissue while also improving microcirculation. They work together to treat both adipose and aqueous cellulite, and aid in the elimination of fatty deposits and excess water stored in the tissues. This results in a reduction of dimples and an overall improvement in the appearance of your skin.
If you have experienced success with a medical weight loss plan and reached your target weight but still suffer from cellulite, Lipo Sculpt Cream is a fantastic choice to consider. A few of the most common benefits include:

A popular retailer has filed for bankruptcy and has announced its store in Pembroke Pines, Florida, will close.
Christmas Tree Shops, a home decor, furniture, and discount gift retailer, is the latest business to file for bankruptcy protection. It has also announced ten of its stores will be closed.
The Christmas Tree Gift Shop (now known as CTS) first opened as a seasonal gift shop open between May and October in the 1950s. Bed Bath & Beyond owned it for some time before being acquired by Handil Holdings in 2020.
At the time of the bankruptcy filing, the brand had 82 stores across 20 states and employed more than 5,700 staff nationwide.
According to Forbes, the "company attributed the bankruptcy to high inflation, recent interest rate hikes and dropping consumer demand for home goods and seasonal decoration."
“Christmas Tree Shops is in bankruptcy probably for the same reasons as Bed Bath & Beyond but with less of a lead-up. It’s another store that sells everything, and you can still get that stuff easier from Amazon.” Ted Gavin, managing director and founding partner of Gavin/Solmonese, a corporate recovery firm
Store closing in Pembroke Pines, Florida
The store in Pembroke Pines was one of the ten stores listed to close, which is a surprise to some, considering it only opened on November 29, 2022.
At the time it opened, owner and CEO Pamela Salkovitz said:
“We receive many requests from CTS fans to expand into their communities, and we are thrilled to welcome them. Pembroke Pines is an exciting opportunity to introduce our unique brand experience to more customers.”
Sadly the store will close, and a sale has commenced.
According to a press release, "shoppers can take advantage of discounts up to 30 percent off the lowest ticketed prices throughout the store. These stores offer a huge selection of home décor, furniture, gifts, and so much more, including popular brands, now at even lower prices."
No date has been listed for when the store may close, so shoppers should act quickly to take advantage of this sale.
Several retail chains have filed for bankruptcy recently, including Bed Bath & Beyond, Tuesday Morning, David's Bridal, and Party City. In addition, other major retailers such as Walmart, Macy's, GAP, and Best Buy are also closing stores across the United States.
Are you concerned about the number of retail businesses closing? Do you believe the government should offer these businesses more financial support? Do you fear we will head toward a recession? Who is to blame for this retail crisis?

PEMBROKE PINES, FLA. (WSVN) - Several tenants only have a few days to move out of their apartments after their building was condemned.
Residents at the Heron Pond Condominiums, located at 8400 SW 1st St., were instructed to move out of their units after two buildings were found to have structural issues.
City officials on Tuesday told residents at 12:30 p.m. that they need to vacate the building by Aug. 24.
“Today, the sheriff came and he knocked, and he said we got to vacate,” said Katline, a resident.
“If anyone is trying to rent in Heron Pond, don’t do it,” Angel Sanchez said. “I don’t think it’s fair to expect someone to pick up all their whole life in 10 days.”
According to officials with they city’s Fire and Building Department, buildings three and 10 at the condo community were deemed unsafe. Officials said they gave the condo owners plenty of time to fix and come into compliance with some of the issues they discovered.
They claimed “unsatisfactory actions have been taken by unit owners to address this.”
7News camera captured unsafe structure notices placed on two doors at the buildings that were deemed unsafe.
“Ever since I moved in here, it’s been HOA people knocking on my door,” Sanchez said. “One person telling me its safe, another person telling me its not safe. I’d rather not have moved in at all. It would have been a lot less stressful for me.”
The property manager, who has been on the board since March, told 7News that they have been working for the past two years to fix the problems at the condominium .
This all started as an issue with some of the balconies in the community. Some of the units also looked like they were crumbling.
The property manager said they were working with their own engineers and were moving things forward, but in July, residents in the corner units of buildings three and 10 were told to leave because city officials deemed them unsafe.
According to the property manager, they kept working on inspecting five of the buildings in the community, and said, the city decided to fully evacuate.
“I am trying to find something else and trying to move, and, I guess get comfortable again,” Katline said.
Residents are now frustrated and feel like they couldn’t get any straight answers.
“There’s too much uncertainty in this building,” Sanchez said. “There’s no communication and the management is not clear with any of the information they give you.”
The property manager said they are working on a structural assessment and are unsure city officials will deem other buildings in the community unsafe.

A Chinese-Venezuelan restaurateur is converting his parents’ dim sum palace in Pembroke Pines into Baoshi, the city’s first food hall, specializing in pan-Asian street fare, drinks and karaoke.
The clubby emporium expects to debut this November on Pines Boulevard. The 6,000-square-foot food hall will feature five vendors touting crispy duck, bao buns, Korean fried chicken, bubble tea and fried doughnuts — all against a backdrop of Japanese pop-art murals.
The 148-seat Baoshi replaces the former Gold Marquess Cantonese restaurant on Pines Boulevard, which shuttered after Chinese New Year in March 2022. Owner Filbert Ip has taken over the space from his retiring parents, swapping out the cavernous dining room for a new indoor-outdoor bar, live-music stage and shelves brimming with Asian snacks.
“There’s a lack of Asian restaurants and nightlife under one roof, and I wanted this place to be fun and young and hip,” Ip, 34, tells the South Florida Sun Sentinel. “It’ll be a shocker, but a good surprise for longtime customers. Our Gold Marquess chefs are still with us, but now we’ll have late-night crowds.”
Gold Marquess will live on as one of Baoshi’s five vendors, with a condensed menu of 25 bestsellers including steamed pork dumplings, barbecued pork buns, snow pea tips, wok-fried noodles and ginger-scallion lobster. Other vendors include the first outpost of Fort Lauderdale’s Temple Street Eatery and Gangnam Chikn, which serves Korean fried chicken and bibimbap bowls. There’s also the first Broward outpost of Miami poke-bowl chain Poke OG, offering poke and vegan bowls, sushi rolls and crispy rice; and a stall from Boca Raton’s Boba Street Cafe, serving coffee, desserts and boba tea drinks.
On Baoshi’s western end is the indoor-outdoor Zen Den, a rectangular bar aglow in blue and indigo LEDs, tastefully appointed with marble countertops, leather armchairs and liquor cages of sakes and wines. Flat-screen TVs will play local sports matches, while a roll-up window will serve customers on the 35-seat outdoor patio.
Ip, of Davie, says he was partly inspired by the success of 1-800-Lucky, an Asian-themed food hall in Wynwood, where he still operates a second Gold Marquess location. He’s also invested in Yip, his fast-casual bao bun concept, scheduled to open at the Marina Village at Bahia Mar food hall this winter.
While he’s mindful that South Florida’s food-hall fever has stumbled since the pandemic — see closings of Time Out Market and Alton Food Hall in Miami Beach and the soon-to-be-retooled Delray Beach Market — Ip remains bullish about Baoshi’s chances.
“We wanted to make this accessible for people in the suburbs who didn’t want to drive all the way to Miami or Fort Lauderdale,” he says.
Ip says his father was eager to pass the reins, retire and “happily play mah-jongg” after 45 years of operating restaurants. His parents owned a supermarket and a Chinese restaurant in Ip’s hometown of Maracaibo, Venezuela. After immigrating to South Florida in 2003 — “he took a leap of faith without knowing the language,” Ip says — his father opened Gold Marquess to serve authentic dim sum to the region’s growing Chinese-American population.
At first, he didn’t share his father’s restaurant vision until the corporate sector burned him out. “A desk job wasn’t for me, and I grew up seeing my father prosper as an entrepreneur,” says Ip, a chemical engineering graduate from Florida State University who quit his job at a Fortune 100 company to work in hospitality.
As fellow Venezuelan-Chinese immigrants, Temple Street Eatery owners Diego Ng and Alex Kuk found instant kinship at Ip’s food hall. They opened their original storefront on North Federal Highway in 2014, searching for identity and belonging through Asian-Latin cuisine — but worried about whether locals would accept it.
“Asian food here (in 2014) was basically Thai-sushi and takeout, so we were taking a big gamble,” Ng recalls. “And then we met Filbert and realized we had all these mutual friends already. We just love his food and he loves ours.”
Ng and Kuk found a sense of belonging at Temple Street Eatery, and now at Baoshi, they’ve found it again.
Their Temple Street Eatery menu will include a panko-breaded katsu burger, a ground ribeye patty topped with pineapple and cabbage slaw on a Gold Marquess bao bun. There’s also the Chino Latino hot dog, a Venezuelan-style handheld topped with potato sticks, cilantro-mayo, kimchi, fried shallots and a gochujang-spiced pink sauce; and Godzilla ramen, a spicy miso bowl filled with ropa vieja and pork belly.
The food hall will debut with a happy hour and live DJs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with karaoke- and ladies-themed nights to follow.

For many seniors, there comes a point when staying at home becomes challenging without caregiver assistance. Daily support from a visiting caregiver can go a long way toward keeping you independent, but you might need more help than this option provides. An assisted living facility, where your needs can be met around the clock in a comfortable environment, may be a better choice.
Assisted living communities house multiple seniors, providing shared amenities and staff-led events that ensure you and other residents remain active and engaged. The care team is mostly made up of caregivers who are trained in senior needs and help with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing and preparing meals. Assisted living in Pembroke Pines costs around $4,385 a month, which is less than the national average cost of assisted living and the local cost of memory care or a nursing home.
This guide lists five of the best assisted living communities in Pembroke Pines and provides information about what makes each of them a good choice. If you’re looking for a community in or around the Hollywood-Silver Lakes area, these are some of the best:
Located just a block away from the iconic Circle in Hollywood, Presidential Place welcomes you with its charming Spanish Mission-style architecture and sprawling landscaped grounds. What sets it apart is its culinary offering, positioning it as one of the premier assisted living facilities in the region. The community excels in its food service, boasting specialized dietary menus, an accomplished executive chef, a dedicated kitchen staff and the flexibility to accommodate personal requests on short notice. Beyond the assortment of meals and snacks available all day in the restaurant-style dining room, residents can opt for complimentary room service or cook at home in their apartments’ kitchens or kitchenettes.
What Residents Are Saying
Food is mentioned in many of the five-star reviews of Presidential Place. One reviewer says this about a family member’s experience there: “My mom moved into Presidential Place. They seem to be very personable, and everybody knows all the residents and their family members who come to visit ... My mom likes the food.”
Angel House Senior Services tries to avoid the sterile feeling typical of many inpatient care facilities. Instead, the community operates in a smaller, homelike environment located on a quiet side street with suburban homes, making it a top choice for assisted living. When you step inside Angel House, you’ll notice how it creates an atmosphere reminiscent of a cozy residential home. Here, you can share meals in a family-style dining room and socialize with fellow residents in a comfortable living room.
What Residents Are Saying
Many reviews of Angel House mention the homelike atmosphere and close-knit community. One five-star reviewer has this experience to share: “My mother currently lives in Angel House and I find it to be an excellent ALF residence where the staff is well trained, attentive and compassionate, and the caregiver to resident ratio is superb. They’ve shown me that more than a business, this is a home.”
If you like the beach, then Serenity Gardens Retirement is a good place to be. Located just up the 441 Corridor from both Hollywood Beach and Memorial Regional Hospital, Serenity Gardens is a short hop from Margaritaville and West Lake, both popular tourist hangouts. Furthermore, the community is around the corner from Hollywood Memorial Gardens and near the local community center, a movie theater and several convenient pharmacies.
What Residents Are Saying
Serenity Gardens Retirement often earns praise from reviewers for its convenient location and attention to residents’ care needs. One reviewer says this about their mother’s stay there: “Serenity Gardens Retirement is close to my house and mom is already living there right now. The place is clean ... I can see that mom is well taken care of.”
The Palace at Weston lives up to its name by creating a lavish, luxurious assisted living experience in a sprawling resort-style community with a grand ballroom, piano lounge and heated swimming pool. There’s a full-service beauty salon on-site and a theater with a large dance floor. In addition, residents can enjoy a state-of-the-art fitness center for personal workouts, exercise classes with a fitness trainer and physical therapy sessions.
What Residents Are Saying
The generous amenities and luxurious feel of The Palace earns high praise among reviewers. One five-star review sums up the experience of visiting family this way: “All the people were being taken care of. The facility was gorgeous. They had the people up doing exercises and eating. There was a lot of interaction with the people there. They had a pool. They offer meals. The facility is huge, but it’s fully enclosed, so you don’t have to worry about them ... There’s a higher caregiver-to-resident ratio in this facility. They had a very nice layout for their dining area.”
This assisted living community stands out as a top choice, offering a well-rounded experience that perfectly aligns with what you or your loved one might seek. Emphasizing its Award-winning Wellness Everyday programs and seasonal cuisine made from scratch, the community provides a comprehensive range of senior care services, all while maintaining a cozy, homelike atmosphere. Although not overly ornate in its décor, the staff ensures the facility remains consistently clean and inviting, creating a comfortable space for you or your loved one.
What Residents Are Saying
This sentiment captures the positive impressions that the community leaves on those who explore it. One visitor said, “The staff was very nice, informative, and followed up on things. ... The place was nice and convenient. ... They had a gym, a salon, areas to do different crafts, and different areas to watch movies and entertainment to keep you busy if you wanted to be. The facility looked very clean.”
You have a lot to think about when you’re looking for assisted living, and different communities each have their appeal. If you or your loved one are exploring assisted living options in Pembroke Pines for a new place to call home, it’s worth taking the time to explore the facilities available in the area. Starting your search with the facilities featured here is a wonderful way to begin.
