Did you know that more than 40% of adults in the United States suffer from obesity? Unfortunately, there is no miracle cure for this condition. Perhaps worse is that more and more adults and children are gaining weight across the country, choosing the convenience of fast and nutrition-deficient foods over healthy eating, exercise, and positive life choices. From an aesthetic standpoint, being overweight is a struggle - clothes don't fit right, people make uncomfortable comments about how you look, and everyday activities are less appealing.
From a health and wellness standpoint, however, being obese is much worse. Your life is literally on the line. The people who love you and depend on you to be in their lives could lose you sooner than you expect. With time, you have a higher chance of suffering from significant, life-changing issues such as:
While obesity is a serious problem, a new medication on the market is giving hope to millions of men and women across the U.S. This game-changing treatment is called Semaglutide in Tribeca, NY. This anti-obesity medication is unique because it treats obesity as a chronic metabolic disease, rather than a problem that can be solved through sheer willpower. The best part? Semaglutide and other medical weight-loss peptides are now available at Global Life Rejuvenation.
At Global Life Rejuvenation, we understand that losing weight is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Our medical weight loss clinic offers custom medical weight loss plans tailored to your body, rather than plans based solely on your age or weight. In fact, our team of doctors and practitioners provides personalized guidance to help you achieve real results and live a healthier life.
Because the truth is maintaining good health and fitness are crucial in the modern world. Research has shown that viruses and diseases are more likely to affect those who are overweight and unhealthy. At Global Life Rejuvenation, we take a comprehensive, custom approach to medical weight loss that includes peptide therapy and more. We then work with you to make positive lifestyle changes, so you can lose weight, get healthy, and boost your wellbeing permanently - not for a few weeks or months.
If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.
Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.
Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Tribeca, NY, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.
However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.
If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.
If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.
You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."
Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.
When combined with healthy lifestyle choices like diet and exercise, Semaglutide can help provide:
There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.
A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.
It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?
If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.
As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Tribeca, NY are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.
One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.
To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.
Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.
To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.
Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.
Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.
Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.
What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.
Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.
Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:
This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.
This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.
That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.
Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:
A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.
When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.Request Appointment
Like other weight loss peptides and medicines on this page, Phentermine can help you lose weight when you stick to a medical weight loss plan that includes dieting, exercise, and smart life choices. It does so by reducing your appetite, which limits the number of calories you eat every day.
As is the case with Semaglutide, Phentermine has been approved by the FDA and is supported by clinical studies that show it can support weight loss. With time, patience, and healthy living, this supplement may help you reach your wellness goals sooner than you thought possible.Request Appointment
In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.
Much like Semaglutide treatment in Tribeca, NY, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:
Have you tried everything under the sun to try and eliminate the cellulite on your legs, arms, and other areas of your body? If you're like most people, getting rid of cellulite isn't just difficult - it's nearly impossible. Fortunately, those days are over. Lipo Sculpt Cream from Global Life Rejuvenation can help reduce the unsightly appearance of cellulite while also refining your figure and firming up your skin.
The active ingredients in this product have the ability to reduce and prevent the growth of fatty tissue while also improving microcirculation. They work together to treat both adipose and aqueous cellulite, and aid in the elimination of fatty deposits and excess water stored in the tissues. This results in a reduction of dimples and an overall improvement in the appearance of your skin.
If you have experienced success with a medical weight loss plan and reached your target weight but still suffer from cellulite, Lipo Sculpt Cream is a fantastic choice to consider. A few of the most common benefits include:

The temporary pleasures of each season in New York work in tandem with the drudgeries. Glorious spring requires daunting rainstorms; warming summer means exhausting heat waves; golden autumn loses the sunlight; and glistening winter turns to slush. All are part of the experience of dining out in New York, but when the skies are clear, the temperature just right and the din of the city subsides, there are few lovelier places to be while enjoying a fine meal.
On just such an evening was I seated outside with friends at the new Caliza on cobblestoned Greenwich Street in TriBeCa, a neighborhood of low density and fine views east and west. Inside, at 7:30, the dining room proved a bit too loud, and rush hour was over, so the only sounds we heard al fresco were of people strolling by or having a good meal of modern Mexican cuisine.
The interior is airy, bright and done in a variety of oak and pine, with sand colored floor tiles and ceiling lamps in straw baskets. Along with a striking folkloric mural by Claudio Limon. (Caliza “Next Door” is a take-out shop.)

So there is guacamole and tacos and quesadillas on the menu, but none that you are likely to have tasted before. There is also, as you can imagine, a broad selection of cocktails that includes Sangre De Jamaica Tequila (Emperical Ayuuk, hibiscus tea, lime) and Morelos(Reposado Tequila, mezcal, Palo Santo, Smoke Oaks) I would recommend trying.
That guacamole ($17) is a flourish of colors, with pepita salsa macha, serrano, cilantro and blue corn tostadas, and, since raw fish is now requisite as a ceviche in Mexican restaurants, the aguachile negro of striped bass, black sesame, leche de tigre, habanero and cucumber ($21) had just the right balance of tangy citrus and aromatic spices. So, too, a generous portion of scallop ceviche ($22) teems with guanabana leche de tigre, habanero, daikon, elderberries and herbed oil drizzle.
I chose the carnitas tacos of juicy pork confit with young coconut, avocado, radish, pepita and salsa macha ($14), which showed the kitchen’s care in making sure all textures are distinct and add to the whole dish. Tlayuda de hongos ($18) was topped with huitlacoche, wild mushrooms, sweet baby corn, a dash of hot horseradish crema and queso fresco white cheese to cool things down. Camarones ($16 ) are marinated shrimp with black beans, queso chihuahua, hoja santa and pico de gallo. Chicken tacos ($16) get a treatment of guajillo chili and cucumber. Flavors repeat, but in varying degrees, so that you don’t get dishes enchiladas all made the same except for a protein.
Larger plates, all with warm crisp tortillas, include branzino La Talla ($45) with chile cascabal, adobo, garlic aïoli and crisp watercress. Pollo asado ($32), a classic that is often a rather bland dish, is given complexity from a charred tomatillo salsa, pearl onions, rainbow radish and cilantro.
For dessert ($12) you must have the churros—or, at least, I must always have the churros if they’re on the menu—piping hot cylindrical fritters with dark Mexican chocolate.
As the sun set softly over the Hudson River and the city’s lights came on, there we were, satisfied in so many ways that went well beyond the food and the wine.

Excavation is progressing at 14 White Street, the site of a seven-story residential building in Lower Manhattan’s Tribeca East Historic District. Designed by NAVA and DXA Studios and developed by 14 White Street Property Owner LLC, the 30,000-square-foot structure will yield ten condominium units ranging from 1,200-square-foot two-bedroom homes to four-bedroom layouts spanning 4,000 square feet, as well as 3,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and cellar. Central is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by White Street to the south and Sixth Avenue to the east.
The asphalt surface of the former parking lot has been fully unearthed since our last update in December, when work was just getting underway on the triangular site. Recent photos show a lone excavator working below street level alongside a piling machine, which has begun to drive steel columns into the earth in preparation for the formation of the foundations. Work should continue below grade for the remainder of the year, followed by the rise of the new superstructure sometime in early 2024.
Renderings of 14 White Street depict an earth-toned façade composed of angular bronze panels adorned with an etched diamond pattern framing a grid of floor-to-ceiling windows. The design offers a modern take on the neighborhood’s cast iron past, with a palette that blends naturally with the surrounding context.
14 White Street will house two units per level on floors two through five, with full-floor units on the sixth and seventh stories. One of the upper units will be a penthouse with private outdoor space. Amenities include a communal roof terrace. The structure is also being engineered to ultra-efficient passive building standards.
An anticipated completion date of March 2024 is posted on site, though YIMBY expects the project to wrap up sometime closer to the end of next year.

Did Jessel Taank put Tribeca on the map?
The “Real Housewives of New York City” star certainly feels like she made the Lower Manhattan neighborhood popular, as she explains on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.
“Hello, I made it relevant,” she says facetiously before invoking a “Mean Girls” quote to punctuate her claim.
“I made fetch happen with Tribeca!”
During the Aug. 13 episode of “RHONY” Season 14 — rebooted with an entirely new cast — Taank met up with frenemy Erin Lichy for coffee to discuss residual tension from a dramatic girls’ trip to the Hamptons.
But new beef emerged when Taank inadvertently dissed Tribeca, NYC’s trendy enclave that many celebrities — including Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Bethenny Frankel and Lichy, 36, herself — have called home.
“A couple of my friends are moving to Tribeca,” the British expat told Lichy. “This neighborhood is really up and coming.”
Lichy, a real estate agent, was confounded by Taank’s assessment.
“It’s there,” she asserted, prompting Taank to further question Tribeca’s pertinence.

“Is it there? I mean, I feel like it still needs the restaurants,” she said, adding, “I feel like there’s still a lot of potential.”
During her “Virtual Reali-Tea” chat, Taank admits that she had a little fun getting under Lichy’s skin.
“I knew in that moment how to piss Erin off. And I think that was the lightbulb that went off in my head because, like, ‘Ah, I’m basically insulting a realtor about where she lives and about where she thinks the hottest neighborhood in New York City is,’” she says.
“And it was a little bit of an a-ha moment, [me asking her], ‘Is it there?’”
Taank — who resides in Chelsea with her husband, Pavit Randhawa, and their 2-year-old twin sons, Kai and Rio — now understands that Tribeca has a highly sought-after zip code.
“I do get the cache,” she says.
However, the fashion publicist is still puzzled by the attraction.
“I grew up in England, I lived in LA, I lived in New York, I spent some time in Asia,” she notes. “And so when I walk around Tribeca, I’m like, ‘Why would people pay $50 million to live in a one-bedroom warehouse? I don’t get it.’”
Taank points out that she believes Tribeca has made improvements since she and Lichy filmed that infamous scene last year.
“It’s definitely become better, I would have to say. Like, the restaurant scene and all of that, the parks,” she observes.
“But for me, I didn’t get it. I really didn’t. I didn’t get it. I was just so confused.”
Taank’s filter-free analysis of Tribeca earned her a fervent fan base — “I’m blown away,” she says of the love and support she receives online — but she has become aware of the pride New Yorkers take in where they live.
“A comment like that was such a throwaway comment to me. And it’s funny how New Yorkers really take things personally,” she says, acknowledging netizens who’ve challenged her opinions about Tribeca.
“You really sort of see how proud they are of where they live and their zip codes, and it started a debate that we’re still talking about it now, like, almost 13 weeks after the fact.”
And it seems as though Taank’s remarks never left Lichy, who has since moved uptown.
“The Real Housewives of New York City” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
Jen Shah had a “Shah-mazing” 50th birthday — even though she spent it in prison.
The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” alum’s husband, Sharrieff Shah, took to his wife’s Instagram page Thursday to let fans know that she was “showered with love” and “comforted” on her “special day.”
“I contacted 50 of her family members and closest friends and asked them to write a birthday text or message to me, and I would give it to her,” Sharrieff, 52, explained in the selfie-style video, not revealing whether any of Jen’s former co-stars were among those enlisted.
Jen’s reaction to the notes was “more than [Sharrieff] could have ever imagined.”
He said the two spoke on the phone for 10 minutes and that she “cried and cried tears of joy and appreciation for at least six and a half minutes.”
“And all I kept saying was, ‘See, baby, we love you more than you think. You’ve not been forgotten,'” he shared.
Sharrieff then read portions of three of the letters his wife received.
One of his “dear friends” who “got to know [Jen] really, really well” wrote, “Focus on your highest good in everything you do. Maintain peace and harmony within your inner being, and [do] not allow outside circumstances to disturb your day of happiness. It is your 50th birthday. The numbers will change, but who you are deep inside will always remain the same: beautiful, limitless, wonderful, creative, strong and capable.”
The next message — which came from one of Jen’s “close health care providers who’s been with her for a number of years now” — read, “Time and distance does not diminish the space you have in my heart. I’m with you today and always. As birthdays are a celebration of spirit, I celebrate who you are: a beautiful human inside and out.”
Sharrieff also shared a note written by Jen’s sister, who encouraged the former Bravolebrity to “adjust [her] crown” and “keep on pressing on regardless of these stumbling blocks and hurdles that stand in [her] way.”
She added, “You got this, and I got you for life. I love you, and I’m so proud of you. Can’t wait to have the biggest birthday bash when you come home.”
Sharrieff — who is the special teams coordinator and cornerbacks coach at the University of Utah — admitted that although he and Jen are “not where [he] thought they would be” on such a milestone occasion in her life, he can say “with complete conviction that [they] are exactly where God intended [them] to be.”
“So for that,” he made sure to add, “I’m humbled and continually grateful.”
The Shahs share two sons: Sharrieff Jr., 29, and Omar, 20.

Though Jen was originally ordered to spend the next six and a half years behind bars for running a decade-long, nationwide telemarketing scheme targeting the elderly and vulnerable, she had her sentence reduced by a year in March and is now expected to be released in August 2028.
Though she vehemently maintained her innocence, she ended up changing her plea to guilty in July 2022, at which point prosecutors dropped the conspiracy to commit money laundering charge.
As Page Six exclusively reported, the ex-“Housewife” completed a mandatory anger management course in July.

Key to the City of New York to Honor De Niro’s Decades of Contribution to Acting and Critical Real-Life Role Revitalizing Post 9/11 Lower Manhattan
NEW YORK – New York City Mayor Eric Adams yesterday awarded a Key to the City of New York to legendary actor and co-founder of the Tribeca Festival Robert De Niro for his lifetime of achievement and service to New York. Mayor Adams presented the key to De Niro as they celebrated the actor and philanthropist’s decades of contribution to film and over 20 years since the founding of the Tribeca Festival.
“From ‘Mean Streets’ and ‘Taxi Driver’ to ‘Raging Bull’ and ‘Goodfellas,’ Robert De Niro’s work remains an iconic part of New York City, as much as he is himself,” said Mayor Adams. “Robert has starred in, directed, or produced over 140 movies, received two Academy Awards, and delivered art that will stand the test of time. Despite his success, Robert has never forgotten his roots as a lifelong New Yorker, co-founding the Tribeca Festival and helping revitalize and reenergize our city after 9/11. Thanks to him, New York City will continue to be the place to film, produce and make television and movies for years to come. For his decades of contribution to film and philanthropic support of New York City, I am honored to present Robert De Niro with a Key to the City of New York.”
“The true key to the city is its people,” said Robert De Niro. “I’m honored to accept this recognition on behalf of my eight and a half million neighbors.”
“Robert De Niro is a visionary. He saw the potential for a massive resurrection of Tribeca and the possibility of creating a new city within a city,” said Martin Scorsese. “Bob did this while still being devoted over the years to his craft of acting, and along the way greatly supporting the arts – not only in the city, but worldwide and remaining prominent in much-needed political and social activism. The Key to the City of New York was first awarded in 1702 by New York City Mayor Phillip French, when he offered "Freedom of the City" to Viscount Edward Cornbury, the then governor of New York and New Jersey. By the mid-1800s, it became customary to award the Key to the City of New York as a direct symbol of the city’s wish that a guest feel free to come and go at will. Today, the Key to the City of New York is a beloved symbol of civic recognition and gratitude reserved for individuals whose service to the public and the common good rises to the highest level of achievement.
