Did you know that more than 40% of adults in the United States suffer from obesity? Unfortunately, there is no miracle cure for this condition. Perhaps worse is that more and more adults and children are gaining weight across the country, choosing the convenience of fast and nutrition-deficient foods over healthy eating, exercise, and positive life choices. From an aesthetic standpoint, being overweight is a struggle - clothes don't fit right, people make uncomfortable comments about how you look, and everyday activities are less appealing.

Custom Medical Weight Loss Plans

If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.

Semaglutide Treatment in Washington, NJ

Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.

Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Washington, NJ, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.

However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.

If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.

What is Semaglutide Treatment in Washington, NJ?

If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.

You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."

Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.

  • Reduced Inflammation

Who Should Consider Semaglutide Therapy in Washington, NJ?

There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.

A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.

It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?

If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.

Healthy Eating Tips While Taking Semaglutide

As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Washington, NJ are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.

One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.

Eat Whole Foods

Eat Whole Foods

To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.

Be Mindful When You Eat

Be Mindful When You Eat

Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Keep Your Body Hydrated

To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.

Meal-Prepping

Use Meal Prepping to Your Advantage

Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.

Other Peptide Therapies and Medicines for Medical Weight Loss in Washington, NJ

Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.

Semiglutide Weight Loss Washington, NJ

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.

What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.

Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.

Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Damaged Cartilage
  • Arthritis

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.

This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.

That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.

Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Reduction in Body Fat
  • Boosted Metabolism
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Immune System
  • More

MIC Injections for Weight Loss

A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.

When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.

Phentermine for Weight Loss

Like other weight loss peptides and medicines on this page, Phentermine can help you lose weight when you stick to a medical weight loss plan that includes dieting, exercise, and smart life choices. It does so by reducing your appetite, which limits the number of calories you eat every day.

As is the case with Semaglutide, Phentermine has been approved by the FDA and is supported by clinical studies that show it can support weight loss. With time, patience, and healthy living, this supplement may help you reach your wellness goals sooner than you thought possible.

7-Keto DHEA for Weight Loss

In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.

Much like Semaglutide treatment in Washington, NJ, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:

  • Weight Loss
  • Improvement to Lean Muscle Mass
  • Boosted Thyroid Activity
  • Enhanced Memory
  • Anti-Aging Treatment
  • Better Memory

Lipo Scuplt Cream

AP capsule

SEATTLE (AP) — The thought of having a letdown after the hype and emotions of last week would seem a very real possibility for No. 5 Washington.

Except there is built-in motivation for Saturday’s matchup against Arizona State that should help dampen the chance of a disappointing effort from the Huskies.

It’s been more than a year since Washington last lost a game and its 13-game win streak is the second-longest active streak in the country. The Huskies’ last setback came at the hand of these same Sun Devils in a 45-38 loss at Arizona State last October.

While both teams are significantly changed from a year ago, the memory of that loss should make it easier for the Huskies (6-0, 3-0 Pac-12) to refocus after last week’s thrilling victory over No. 9 Oregon.

“If it was just a coaching staff that was trying to bring it together, it would be hard. But we have enough guys that are just completely invested and have had a voice and want it extremely bad,” Washington coach Kalen DeBoer said. “They are holding each other accountable.”

Washington captured the attention of the country last week with its 36-33 win over Oregon that came down to the final play. Given a prime stage, the Huskies laid claim to being the top program in the Pac-12 and watched quarterback Michael Penix Jr. jump clearly into the lead in the Heisman Trophy conversation.

Arizona State (1-5, 0-3) was watching, too, thanks to having the weekend off.

“I would say this is one of the rare teams that has a difficult scheme with good players and a great quarterback, and not often do you have to play all three,” Arizona State coach Kenny Dillingham said.

It’s been a rough first season with the Sun Devils for Dillingham, punctuated by a pair of three-point losses in conference play right before the off week. Arizona State lost by three at California before returning home and nearly spoiling things for Colorado before falling 27-24 to the Buffaloes.

The Sun Devils are heavy underdogs again this week, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, and will need some breaks like they got last year when Penix had a pass deflect off the helmet of one of his linemen and it was taken back for a pick-six by ASU.

“I challenged our guys that we have to have explosive plays, not just on offense but we have to have those explosive plays on defense and on special teams to put us in position to win the football game,” Dillingham said.

WR DEPTH

Washington is blessed with one of the deepest groups of wide receivers in the country and that was on display again last week. Jalen McMillan aggravated a leg injury in the first quarter against Oregon, which moved Giles Jackson into a bigger role in his first game of the season. Jackson responded with six catches for 58 yards. He made a 26-yard touchdown catch for his first reception of the year.

McMillan, Rome Odunze and Ja’Lynn Polk grab the headlines among Washington’s pass catchers but there is far more depth to the position group.

ON THE SLIDE

Arizona State has lost five straight after opening the season with a win over FCS program Southern Utah and has not beaten an FBS opponent since a win over Colorado on Oct. 29, 2022. A loss to Washington would match the longest losing streak in Arizona State’s history -- the Sun Devils have never lost more than six straight. The last time that happened was the final six games of the 2009 season.

REVIVE THE PAST

The last time Washington reached No. 5 in the rankings was in 2017. The Huskies were there for all of one week before losing 13-7 at Arizona State. The Sun Devils have been a thorn in the Huskies’ side for the better part of the past 20 years. Since 2002, the Huskies are just 2-13 against Arizona State. Both of those wins have come in Seattle, in 2016 and 2018. The Sun Devils got the better of the Huskies in their last visit to Husky Stadium, coming away with a 35-30 win in 2021.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Election Day is nearing, and Long Valley voters will soon head to the polls to cast their votes for three seats on the local school board.

Name: Laura Wengel

Find out what's happening in Long Valleywith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Age: 57

Town of residence: Washington Township

Family: I live with my husband. Our daughter went through the Washington Twp. and West Morris school systems.

Education: BA English – Hobart and William Smith Colleges; MA English Education – Seton Hall University; Special Education Certification – Rutgers University

Occupation: Teacher

Previous or current elected appointed office: None

Why are you seeking to run for school board?

I am running for a position on the Washington Township School Board because I am a strong advocate of quality public education where students are free to engage in meaningful discussion to enhance their critical thinking skills on all levels.

My family and I made our home in Long Valley in 2007 because we were impressed by the school system and the unique community bonds we shared with our neighbors.

My daughter is a product of the Washington Township Schools and a graduate of West Morris Central Regional High School. I firmly believe that she would not be a successful college graduate without the balanced academic rigor she received at WMC. I am also a proud public school graduate, where I learned to question my assumptions and think critically about my world.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in English from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, a master’s degree in English education from Seton Hall University, and a special education certificate from Rutgers University.

For the past 23 years, I have worked in both public and private education, teaching English and special education. The diversity and level of empathy I have encountered while teaching at public schools in New Jersey have given me a unique insight into the state of public education and how best to collaborate toward a common goal.

As board members, I am hoping that my running mates and I can successfully create a consensus on what our children need and make mindful, balanced decisions regarding their education.

What, according to you, is the biggest issue facing the school district currently? How do you plan to tackle it?

The amount of politics that has made its way into local school boards and schools has essentially hamstrung any substantive discussion regarding the education of our children. There also seems to be a lack of understanding in general about how public schools run. I hope to demystify this.

What special qualifications do you bring to help meet the challenge?

Since I am a teacher, I am uniquely qualified to provide accurate insight into what is actually happening in our classrooms and schools.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Burlington County (WABC) -- The latest wildfire to break out in New Jersey has grown to more than 250 acres and is burning through a section of Washington Township, Burlington County.

As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, the fire had consumed 257 acres and was 85 percent contained.

Firefighters say the blaze is no longer threatening any structures, and no evacuation orders are in effect.

Route 542 is open, but Old Church Road and River Road remained closed.

A Red Flag Warning issued Tuesday afternoon by the National Weather Service has been expanded to include the entire state of New Jersey through 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The warning means warm temperatures, very low humidity, and stronger winds have combined to produce an increased risk of wildfires.

"Dry air, a little bit of a gusty wind, these are all criteria the Weather Service has for us to get into a fire watch or fire warning," Meteorologist Sam Champion said.

The New Jersey Forest Fire Service held a briefing Tuesday on the three major wildfires that ripped across parts of the state in the last week.

Crews have responded to 517 wildfires already this year compared to 373 in the same time period last year.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- A wildfire that broke out in Burlington County Tuesday was 95% contained as of Wednesday night, according to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.

Firefighters were battling the 257-acre wildfire off Route 542 in Washington Township, Burlington County, on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

The wildfire, named the "River Road Wildfire," is 95% contained, according to the NJFFS.

The fire is located in the area off Route 542 and River Road.

The wildfire was first detected by a forest fire service observer in a fire tower around noon Tuesday.

"Due to the strong winds and dry fuels and the fire weather conditions in general, it started to get across our control lines and became a safety hazard for firefighters," John Earlin Jr., an incident commander, said.

Firefighters say they attacked the fire from the ground and air but it continued to rapidly spread.

Crews dunked about 5,000 gallons of water on the blaze.

The fire happened after the National Weather Service issued a red flag warning for New Jersey and Delaware on Tuesday.

The NWS says that a red flag warning "means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly due to a combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels. Any fires that develop may quickly get out of control and become difficult to contain."

There were zero mandatory evacuations.

Firefighters are asking residents and campers to be careful and help crews out as they battle through this year's wildfire season.

"Anything they can do to help us prevent a fire is one less fire we have to fight," William Love, an assistant fire warden, said. "We have been combating firefighter fatigue with this rash of fires we have been having throughout the state."

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Firefighters say they will be out all night. They will be monitoring the fire to look out for flying embers that could spread the fire and falling trees.

Washington, D.C. (09/15/2023) – The Washington Spirit will face NJ/NY Gotham FC in both sides’ 19th match of the 2023 NWSL regular season. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. EDT at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey and will broadcast locally on NBC Sports Washington for fans in the DMV as well as nationally on Paramount+ for fans across the United States. International viewers can stream the match on NWSLSoccer.com.

The Spirit

The Spirit enters the match occupying the sixth and final NWSL playoff-eligible spot after falling to the Chicago Red Stars, 0-2, at Audi Field on September 3. Oddly enough, the Spirit outplayed the Red Stars in many facets of the game. With 25 touches in the opponent’s box in the first half and 50 on the game, the Spirit set a new single match high since tracking began in 2016.

The loss prolonged the Spirit’s winless drought further as the team has not picked up three points in a regular season match since June 18 at Kansas City. A couple of factors are crucial for the Spirit to get back on track and secure itself firmly in the playoff picture: scoring early and scoring first.

The Spirit has seen three consecutive matches with a scoreless first half and has won only one game (1-4-2) when conceding the opening goal this season. Striking first yields the best results for the Spirit, as the side is 5-0-5 in such matches.

Saturday marks the fourth, and final, meeting (all competitions) between the Spirit and Gotham FC this season. The season series is split 1-1-1. Gotham FC won a UKG NWSL Challenge Cup match at Red Bull Arena in April, while the Spirit earned a 4-2 Challenge Cup victory at Audi Field in July. In the lone regular season match between the sides so far this season, both teams earned a point in a 1-1 draw at Audi Field in late May.

The last time these teams met, Washington came back from two goals down to win the match, the Spirit’s second comeback win when behind at least two goals in all competitions this year. Only one other team has multiple two-goal comeback wins in a single season in league history as Gotham FC (then Sky Blue FC) did so three times in 2017.

Despite the loss on September 3, the Spirit is tied with Racing Louisville FC for the least number of losses in the NWSL with just four this season. Half of these losses came in back-to-back games that started the team’s current winless streak (June 23 at Portland and July 1 vs Orlando), the only back-to-back losses surrendered by the team this entire season.

Following Saturday’s match, the Spirit gets a week off before returning to Audi Field on Saturday, September 30 to face off against the Kansas City Current. This match will kick off at 7:00 p.m. EDT and tickets can be found here.

The Opposition

NJ/NY Gotham FC will host the Spirit following a resilient comeback performance against the North Carolina Courage. Down 0-2 at halftime, Gotham FC scored three goals in 18 minutes while conceding one in the second half to eke out a point on the road against a top team.

Notably, Esther Gonzalez – a 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup champion with Spain and new Gotham FC addition – got to see the field as a substitute. Midge Purce also continued to be an attacking force, scoring the equalizing goal late in the second half. Her 15 career regular season goals tie her with teammate Kelley O’Hara for the third-most in team history.

Lynn Williams provided the game-tying assist against the Courage, her first assist after a run of 16 games in all competitions without one since her last assist in March 2022. The 16 consecutive games without an assist are the most in Williams’ NWSL career.

Gotham FC sits one position ahead of the Spirit with 27 points on a 7-5-6 record and is unbeaten over its last six home games (W3, D3), the longest home unbeaten streak (all competitions) in club history, surpassing five-match runs at home from September 2021 to April 2022 (W1, D4) and May to July 2016 (W3, D2). Despite this, Gotham FC’s last win came on July 9 against Portland. This is the team’s only win in its last five competitions.

Watch out for rookie defender/forward Jenna Nighswonger who has cemented herself as one of Gotham FC’s most important pieces and a NWSL Rookie of the Year frontrunner. She was named to the 2023 UKG NWSL Challenge Cup All-Tournament Team. Selected as the fourth overall pick in the 2023 NWSL Draft, Nighswonger has twice been named the league’s Rookie of the Month as well as a member of the league’s monthly Best XI.

Next up, Gotham FC faces the Houston Dash at Red Bull Arena on Sunday, October 1 at 6:30 p.m. EDT.
