If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.

Semaglutide Treatment in Watchung

Semaglutide Treatment in Watchung, NJ

Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.

Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Watchung, NJ, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.

However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.

If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.

What is Semaglutide Treatment in Watchung, NJ?

If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.

You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."

Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.

Semaglutide can help

Who Should Consider Semaglutide Therapy in Watchung, NJ?

There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.

A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.

It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?

If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.

Healthy Eating Tips While Taking Semaglutide

As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Watchung, NJ are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.

One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.

Eat Whole Foods

Eat Whole Foods

To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.

Be Mindful When You Eat

Be Mindful When You Eat

Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Keep Your Body Hydrated

To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.

Meal-Prepping

Use Meal Prepping to Your Advantage

Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.

Other Peptide Therapies and Medicines for Medical Weight Loss in Watchung, NJ

Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.

What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.

Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.

Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Damaged Cartilage
  • Arthritis
CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.

This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.

That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.

Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Reduction in Body Fat
  • Boosted Metabolism
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Immune System
  • More
MIC Injections for Weight Loss

MIC Injections for Weight Loss

A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.

When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.

Phentermine for Weight Loss

7-Keto DHEA for Weight Loss

In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.

Much like Semaglutide treatment in Watchung, NJ, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:

  • Weight Loss
  • Improvement to Lean Muscle Mass
  • Boosted Thyroid Activity
  • Enhanced Memory
  • Anti-Aging Treatment
  • Better Memory

Depending on whom you ask, Watchung Hills coach Jim Huff and Warriors’ heavyweight Hunter Seubert have different versions of how they got to this moment.

It’s 2 p.m. on the final day of the NJSIAA/Rothman Orthopaedics Region 4 tournament in Union and Seubert, the heavyweight for Watchung Hills, is gearing up for his region final against Plainfield’s Josue Cordoba.

Whoever convinced the other how Seubert got here is irrelevant now. All that matters is that he’s back and doing well. Seubert is heading to the state tournament for the second time after pinning Cordoba in 2:25, and this time, his state title berth comes with a trip to Atlantic City.

Learn more and make a nomination!

The moment came to pass after Seubert, who opted not to wrestle last year, decided to kick the proverbial tires and come back to the sport thanks to a desire to establish himself as one of the Garden State’s premiere two-sport athletes.

“A lot of these guys — and I know some of them play football — but most of them are just wrestlers,” Seubert said. “What motivates me is to be a multi-sport athlete and to say that I play football and wrestle at the highest level in New Jersey.”

Seubert says it was Huff, who also coaches Seubert in football, who eventually convinced him to come back to wrestling after Seubert wasn’t sure if it was in the cards.

“In the beginning of the season, I wasn’t sure if I was coming back. We had just got off football season and I’d say it’s all coach Huff. He sucked me back out,” Seubert said. “I’m glad I came back out. We made it to regions and now we’re going to AC. I’m glad coach Huff welcomed me back to the team. It was a great year.”

Huff remembers things differently and how differently they could have gone this year had Seubert not come back to wrestling.

The Warriors started last season with no one weighing more than 190 pounds, so the Warriors were often forfeiting both 215 and 285 before eventually seven other football players joined the team coming off one of the best football seasons in program history, with Huff positing that similar success in wrestling was possible.

But still, Huff didn’t know for sure that Seubert would be back.

“It was always in the back of my mind that he wasn’t going to come out and wrestle. He’s such a good football player and we knew that senior year if he’s committed to a college, that he might want to lift and get better and bigger for football,” Huff said. “Hunter and I have a really good relationship. I’ve known him for years. We went back and forth and I kind of left the decision up to him. I got a few of his friends on board and once a few of his friends came he said ‘I’m in, I’m ready to go.’”

And for as good as Seubert is at football, there’s just something about wrestling that can’t be replicated.

“Wrestling’s tough. It’s a love-hate relationship, definitely. I missed being with the guys and being with the team and doing stuff as a team because that’s what sports are all about in high school,” Seubert said. “I just love the team and the team aspect of wrestling. It’s unique — it’s not like football or basketball. Wrestling’s its own thing. It’s an individual sport that dictates a team goal.”

The Warriors did well in the team goal department this year, with a berth in the North 2, Group 4 finals and were a two-point loss away from a section title.

But the time for team achievements has come and gone. Now, it’s on to individual achievements and though the Skyland Conference is home to some of the state’s top heavyweights like John Wargo at Phillipsburg, Jarrett Pantuso at Warren Hills and others, Seubert is determined to put on a show now in Atlantic City.

It’ll be a new experience for him, as when he qualified for states as a sophomore, it was during the COVID year, so everything was contested in Phillipsburg in front of very few fans.

Though wrestling might be secondary at times to Seubert, Huff realizes it’s still an important moment.

“Just having him understand that we know he’s going to be a successful wrestler, but you haven’t experienced that limelight of Atlantic City. That’s what a lot of these wrestlers dream about,” Huff said. “And although he’s a football first guy, I know he wanted to get down to Atlantic City his sophomore year. Unfortunately he didn’t get that, but we get that now.”

Regardless of how much of a dream it was to go to AC the way it is for other guys who solely wrestle and regardless of who convinced Seubert to come back to the sport, he’s both back and going to AC now.

So that means in his quest to become a dominant two-sport athlete, he only has one option.

“I like to say that kids who like to win, like to thrive in the moment. This atmosphere here is great,” Seubert said. “If you’re an athlete and you like to win, you live for moments like this — to win in front of a big crowd and have the pressure on you That’s when kids perform best.”

WATCHUNG - Voters on Tuesday approved both questions on the school district's nearly $16 million referendum to fund improvements to borough schools .

Question 1 on the referendum passed by a vote of 584 to 498 and Question 2 passed by a vote of 565 to 507.

Voter turnout for the special school election was 20.7% or 1,085 out of a possible 5,244 voters casting a ballot.

The total cost for Question 1's projects is $12.8 million with state aid of $4.21 million and a cost of $8.59 million for the district. The projects new indoor learning spaces, enhanced security, updated technology infrastructure, ADA compliance, new HVAC and building systems, electrical upgrades, site improvements and roof repairs at both Valley View Middle School and Bayberry Elementary School.

Question 2 projects add an outdoor learning commons and repurposed softball field at Valley View Middle School and air conditioning in both the Bayberry Elementary and Valley View Middle schools' gymnasiums. This question bumps up the total costs by another $2.92 million with $839,622 in state aid and a cost of $2.08 million for taxpayers.

The district serves more than 600 students in pre-K through eighth grade in two schools. Students in grades pre-K to 4 attend Bayberry Elementary School, and students in grades 5 to 8 attend Valley View Middle School. Watchung students attend Watchung Hills Regional High School.

The project would be designed, bid and constructed over a period of approximately three years, school officials said.

With a potential $5 million in state aid to offset principal and interest costs, passage of both ballot questions would prompt a $323 a year increase in property taxes for the average assessed home value of $760,895, according to the school board.

The total cost, with state aid and interest, is $16.73 million, of which borough taxpayers would pay $10.67 million after state aid. The state has deemed 94.5% of the project eligible to receive debt service aid, which means the state will fund approximately 34% of the cost, school officials said.

According to Superintendent George P. Alexis, the referendum is designed to align learning spaces with the district's instructional vision and address important infrastructure needs. It also serves increase the value of property in the municipality

"It includes plans to transform spaces, enhance security, ensure ADA compliance, update technology infrastructure, save energy costs, and improve health and safety by replacing outdated HVAC and building systems," he said. "The community has the opportunity to enhance property values through an investment in its schools and take advantage of state funding through debt service aid, which would reduce the total costs by approximately one third and save taxpayers over $5 million."

WATCHUNG – The Blue Star Shopping Center, one of the first major shopping centers in Central Jersey, is undergoing a renaissance.

The redevelopment of the 420,000-square-foot complex on Route 22 is being led by a new and expanded ShopRite, one of the primary anchors along with Kohl’s and Marshalls.

Levin Management Corporation, the property’s managing and leasing agent, is taking major steps to redevelop, renovate and "re-tenant" the shopping center.

ShopRite will remain open in its existing space at Blue Star while the new 72,000-square-foot location is built. ShopRite has been a tenant of the center since 1980. The present ShopRite is 43,365 square feet.

The ShopRite, operated by Village Supermarkets, is expected to begin work on its larger store this summer.

Following the relocation, Levin Management will reconfigure the vacated store to accommodate multiple tenants.

Other renovations at the center include façade and common area updates, an extensive landscaping redesign and the addition of outdoor seating. New lighting, parking lot refurbishments and the incorporation of infrastructure to support EV charging stations are also in the plan.

"Blue Star Shopping Center has long served as a preeminent Somerset County shopping destination,” Maxim Gagneron, Levin Management's vice president of construction and development, said in a statement. “We are thrilled to unveil the details of its bright future, centered on the addition of this state-of-the-art ShopRite. It is always gratifying to work with long-term tenants to accommodate their evolving needs. The end result will be a source of pride for property ownership, every Blue Star tenant and the entire community.”

The shopping center draws more than 2.6 million visits annually, according to real time traffic data from Placer.ai.

Other tenants in the center include Dollar Tree, The Children’s Place, Roma Salon, and Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa. Dining options include TGI Friday’s, Five Guys, Wendy’s and Arby’s.

Retail availabilities at Blue Star Shopping Center range from 1,200 square feet up to 50,000 square feet, including an 8,500-square-foot pad site.

For seven decades, Levin Management, based on Route 22 in North Plainfield, has a leasing and management portfolio that includes 125 properties totaling almost 16 million square feet in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states.

In Central Jersey, Levin also owns the Somerset Shopping Center on the Somerville Circle, Rutgers Plaza in Franklin and St. George's Crossing in Woodbridge.

Blue Star is one of the oldest shopping centers in Central Jersey. Construction on the $7 million center on 47 acres along a half mile of Route 22, which was also known as the Blue Star Memorial Highway, began in January 1958.

Other major tenants at the time, besides E.J. Korvetter, were Acme, Grand Union, Sun Ray Drugs, Father and Son Shoes and Thom McAn.

'How can we have any faith?': Watchung BOE breaks impasse on voter-approved project

WATCHUNG – After a few months of stalling on naming an architect for the approved $16 million referendum project, the Board of Education has decided Design Resources Group (DRG) was the right firm for the job after all.

DRG was the design team that developed the referendum plans approved by borough voters in December.

But at the Jan. 5 reorganization meeting, the school board, with several new members, put off renaming DRG as architects for the project. The Board oversees two schools in the pre-K-8 district.

Superintendent of Schools George P. Alexis had recommended DRG as the architect.

After going out for bids again on the project, the board voted 7-1 on March 14 to award the contract of DRG.

The only exception was Board Vice President Anthony Ingrassia who opposed the referendum and reiterated that he intends to look into other aspects of the referendum plans.

The project calls for improvements to both Valley View Middle School and Bayberry Elementary School, including HVAC, renovated athletic fields and air conditioning. But Ingrassia said that he wishes to "readdress" those features

But several parents told board members at the March 14 meeting that the referendum plans were approved by voters and should be moving forward.

"When I voted for the referendum, I voted for it because of the specific projects identified by the referendum architects," said Katie Corrigan, a former teacher at Watchung Hills Regional High School. "These types of continuing comments the likes of which Mr. Ingrassia were making before the referendum passed do not instill any sense of confidence in the members of this community. How can we have any faith that you are going to follow the law and the public will when you were sitting there saying the same thing you said before the referendum votes?"

Corrigan asked for reassurance that the Board will proceed with the project as approved by voters.

"You are not permitted to pick this referendum apart piece by piece," she said.

Alexis delivered unexpected good news at the March 14 meeting when he said the sale of a bond to fund the project attracted seven bidders and yielded a rate of 3.75%, which was lower than before.

"The lower rate means that the annual average tax impact on the average home in Watchung has decreased by $14 to $309," Alexis said. "The proceeds of the sale have been received and placed in the district’s interest-bearing account."

How Anthony Volpe made his dream, New Jersey boy to Yankees shortstop, a reality

TAMPA — The dream hatched when Anthony Volpe was a little kid living in Watchung, N.J. Besides family, baseball was a first love and Yankee Stadium was just 40 miles from home, so the Yankees were his team.

Little Anthony would go to the Bronx with his parents for games and religiously watched most of the others on TV.

All Volpe ever wanted to do with his life was play shortstop for the Yankees. Actually, that’s not entirely true. He wanted to win World Series playing shortstop for the Yankees.

“Since as long as I can remember,” Volpe said before prefacing, “I’m probably the same as a lot of the kids my age, a lot of my classmates, all my teammates. But this was a lot of dreaming.”

It was more than dreaming. Baseball was Volpe’s passion for as long as he can remember, too. He was determined from a young age to do everything he could to someday be a Yankee. That required hours and hours of working on all parts of his game around the calendar.

Early on, Volpe’s raw talent and work habits stood out wherever he played.

Now, as a 21-year-old young man who makes as good an impression off the field as on, Volpe’s dream is coming true.

Heading into his first big-league spring training this year, Volpe was a longshot to break camp with the Yankees. The starting shortstop was open, but 2022 starter Isiah Kiner-Falefa and hotshot rookie Oswald Peraza were the co-favorites.

“You never know, (Volpe) could still kick the door in and force the onus on us,” manager Aaron Boone told YES in January.

On Sunday afternoon, after the Yankees’ 6-3 win over the Blue Jays, Volpe was called into Boone’s office and told he’s made the team. Come Thursday, Opening Day at Yankee Stadium, Volpe will be the Yankees’ shortstop.

“I think when we take a step back and evaluate, he really checked every box that we could have had for him and absolutely kicked the door in and earned this opportunity,” Boone said.

Overcome with emotion, Volpe said, “This day and this moment is what I’ve worked my whole life for.”

Volpe earned it. After March 9, Kiner-Falefa didn’t play any shortstop and prepped for a utility role that would include infield and outfield. Last Monday, with Peraza slumping offensively and Volpe still putting on shows every time he played, the Yankees’ front office and coaching staff met to talk about roster decisions.

By then, Volpe had won over everyone in so many ways. He has just 22 games of Triple-A experience and no big-league time, but the Yankees brass decided their No. 1 prospect two years running was ready.

“He came into this camp continuing to reinforce everything he’s done at every level, which is standout amongst everyone,” general manager Brian Cashman said. “He showed up early (for spring training). I want to say it was December. On his own. Voluntarily. He knew there was a competition and he was intent on winning it.

“From the defensive side, from the offensive side, from one of the first to get here in the morning pre-game or pre-practice to one of the last to leave, he just dominated all sides of the ball in February and March.”

Volpe was eight won their last World Series in 2009. Then, Derek Jeter was the face of the Yankees, so of course he was a childhood hero for Volpe.

But Volpe saw Jeter as more than a great player. He recognized the intangibles and makeup that added to the Hall of Fame shortstop’s greatness and made sure those traits were a part of his baseball DNA.

Volpe always was more than a fan. He was schooled to play the game the right way, so he looked up to the players who ran out every groundball, the ones who turned singles into hustling doubles, the ones who threw to the right base all the time.

From the time Volpe was in grade school, he always was the star on the ballfield, too. Although usually one of the smallest players, his bat-to-ball skills were better than the other kids he played with and against. He also learned from a young age how to work pitchers. He learned how to hit the ball where it was pitched and drive baseballs to the opposite field. He practiced bunting until it was a big strength. He used his speed to steal a lot of bases while training to run faster. His defense always was superb. His baseball IQ always was off the charts.

Volpe advanced from New Jersey youth leagues to traveling teams to high school ball at Delbarton with a lot of USA Baseball events mixed in around the country and globe.

By his senior year at Delbarton, Volpe’s mission to someday play for the Yankees no longer was farfetched. That spring, Yankees scouting director Damon Oppenheimer selected Volpe in the first round of the 2019 draft, 30th overall.

“Damon and his staff out of the amateur scouting department … they placed a bet on him coming out of Delbarton,” Cashman said. “They said the tools would play. They said the makeup was off the chart and he would earn everything every step of the way.”

At the time of the draft, Volpe had committed to go to college to play for national power Vanderbilt, but there was no way he was headed to Nashville after the Yankees picked him.

“It was a once in a lifetime chance to get into the organization,” said Volpe, who received a $2.7 million signing bonus from the Yankees.

Still a long way from the big leagues, Volpe started the climb up the organization ladder that summer. He played rookie ball in 2019, then sat out a whole year when COVID wiped out the entire 2000 minor-league season.

Volpe used this time off to hone all of his baseball skills at home, then the next year he soared up the prospects rankings putting up sensational numbers playing for the Low-A Tampa Tarpons and High-A Hudson Valley Renegades.

Last year was a homecoming that initially brought some adversity. Playing just a few miles from home for the Double-A Somerset Patriots, Volpe was hitting .202 through June 3 before getting hot and staying hot. By the end of the season, Volpe’s stats were impressive and he got some Triple-A experience.

“I’m just happy with all the work I’ve put in,” Volpe said. “I feel like I improved a lot in different parts of my game.”

Scouts and prospects experts grew to love Volpe’s game so much that he’s been a top five prospect in baseball last year and this year.

But heading into spring training, the thinking throughout the industry was that Volpe wasn’t quite big-league ready. There was a belief that he’d start the season in Triple-A, then maybe earn a first call-up by summertime or in September. There even was speculation that he’d go to Scranton and play a lot of second base because there’s been questions for years about his arm strength at shortstop.

Volpe looked like a major league shortstop this spring. He made every play and his arm played out fine, even on long throws from the hole.

“He’s prepared,” Yankees captain Aaron Judge said. “Very rarely do you see that at such a young age. Usually you’re a little immature or a little unprepared, but he seems ready to go every single game I’ve played behind him.”

While Volpe passed the eye test, he put up eye-popping numbers. Through Sunday, an off day for Volpe after three games in three days, he was hitting .314 with six doubles, a triple, three homers, five RBI, eight walks, five steals in five attempts and a 1.064 OPS in 17 games.

“Very impressive at-bats,” Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton said. “He’s running all over the basepaths. He’s a well-rounded player.”

And now Volpe is a big-leaguer. He celebrated Sunday’s news with his parents and other family members in the Yankees dugout at Steinbrenner Field.

On Sunday evening, he celebrated with his spring training roommates, four buddies that were teammates during his minor-league road to the big leagues — Austin Wells, Mickey Gasper, Max Burt and Spencer Henson. They dubbed their planned night “The Last Supper” because “it was going to be our last night and “we’re all going our separate ways.”

The Yankees leave Florida after Monday’s game in Tampa. They’ll play an exhibition against the Nationals on Tuesday in Washington, D.C., then rest up for a day before Thursday’s season opener against the Giants.

Volpe watched a lot of Yankees games over the years from the stands. This time, he’ll be out there on the playing field in pinstripes with a better number than his spring training No. 77, maybe 11 or 14. He’ll hear his name during player introductions, then head out to shortstop for his first Yankees game and be part of the Bleacher Creatures roll call.

It’ll be everything he’s dreamed of and worked for forever.

“It’s super surreal,” Volpe said. “I’ve only ever been to games at Yankee Stadium (as a fan). To get that opportunity, I’m so excited. It’s crazy. I don’t even know what lies ahead.”
