If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.

Semaglutide Treatment in West Bradenton, FL

Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.

Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in West Bradenton, FL, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.

However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.

If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.

What is Semaglutide Treatment in West Bradenton, FL?

If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.

You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."

Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.

Who Should Consider Semaglutide Therapy in West Bradenton, FL?

There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.

A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.

It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?

If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.

Healthy Eating Tips While Taking Semaglutide

As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in West Bradenton, FL are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.

One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.

Eat Whole Foods

Eat Whole Foods

To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.

Be Mindful When You Eat

Be Mindful When You Eat

Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Keep Your Body Hydrated

To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.

Meal-Prepping

Use Meal Prepping to Your Advantage

Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.

Other Peptide Therapies and Medicines for Medical Weight Loss in West Bradenton, FL

Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.

Semiglutide Weight Loss West Bradenton, FL

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.

What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.

Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.

Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Damaged Cartilage
  • Arthritis

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.

This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.

That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.

Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Reduction in Body Fat
  • Boosted Metabolism
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Immune System
  • More

MIC Injections for Weight Loss

A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.

When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.

Phentermine for Weight Loss

Like other weight loss peptides and medicines on this page, Phentermine can help you lose weight when you stick to a medical weight loss plan that includes dieting, exercise, and smart life choices. It does so by reducing your appetite, which limits the number of calories you eat every day.

As is the case with Semaglutide, Phentermine has been approved by the FDA and is supported by clinical studies that show it can support weight loss. With time, patience, and healthy living, this supplement may help you reach your wellness goals sooner than you thought possible.

7-Keto DHEA for Weight Loss

In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.

Much like Semaglutide treatment in West Bradenton, FL, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:

  • Weight Loss
  • Improvement to Lean Muscle Mass
  • Boosted Thyroid Activity
  • Enhanced Memory
  • Anti-Aging Treatment

When should I go to a Sarasota-Manatee hurricane shelter?

If you live in a hurricane evacuation zone or a mobile home, you must evacuate when the evacuation order is issued. Your first choice should be to stay with a friend or family member living close by but who is not in a flood-vulnerable area.

(You can find your Sarasota County hurricane evacuation zone here and your Manatee County hurricane evacuation zone here.)

Keep in mind: A shelter will not be a pleasant place. It might be crowded. You won’t be allowed to bring the comforts of home.

Also, do not head to a shelter until they are officially opened by Sarasota or Manatee counties. They will announce on their websites, through social media and through the Herald-Tribune when shelters are opening.

BRADENTON - FHP has announced A devastating auto accident that occurred Friday evening (July 28th), at the intersection of State Road 70 (53rd Ave) and US 41 (14th Street). According to the report by Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal crash involved three vehicles and a pedestrian.

The report states that there were three vehicles involved in the accident, a sedan, a sport utility vehicle (SUV), and a passenger bus, as well as a pedestrian.

In addition to the fatally injured pedestrian, the driver of the sedan, a 21-year-old man from Bradenton, Florida, was also seriously injured. The SUV's driver, a 24-year-old woman, and her two passengers, an 8-year-old girl and a 3-year-old girl, all from Bradenton, Florida, suffered minor injuries.

Additionally, a passenger bus was part of the collision, carrying a 54-year-old man from Spring Hill, Florida, and a 38-year-old man from Sarasota, Florida. Both individuals sustained minor injuries. Another passenger on the bus, a 23-year-old girl from Independence, Oregon, was also involved in the crash.

The most tragic outcome of the accident was the death of a 60-year-old man from Bradenton, Florida, who was a pedestrian at the time of the collision. The events leading up to the fatal crash were outlined by the FHP.

According to the FHP report, the sedan driven by the 21-year-old man from Bradenton was heading west on State Road 70 approaching the intersection with US 41. Simultaneously, the sport utility vehicle driven by the 24-year-old woman was traveling east on State Road 70, attempting to make a left turn onto northbound US 41. The third vehicle, a passenger bus, was also traveling east on State Road 70, approaching the intersection of US 41.

As the vehicles converged on the intersection of SR 70 and US 41, the pedestrian, identified as a 60-year-old man from Bradenton Florida, was standing on the raised median divider of State Road 70, just west of US 41.

At 6:40 PM the westbound sedan encountered the left-turning SUV and the front of the sedan collided with the right side of the sport utility vehicle. As a result of the impact, the sedan then collided with the 60-year-old Pedestrian. This in turn caused the pedestrian to be forced into the path of bus of the passenger bus.

The tragic incident took the life of the 60 year-old pedestrian, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. FHP also stated that the driver of the sedan, the 21 year-old-man from Bradenton Florida, fled the scene on foot. However, law enforcement action was able to quickly apprehend the man and he has been taken into custody.

After being apprehended by FHP, The 21-year-old male driver of the sedan was identified as Gustavo DeLeon of Bradenton. DeLeon now faces several serious charges, including leaving the scene of an accident with death, vehicular homicide, and driving without a valid driver's license. DeLeon was booked into the Manatee County Jail pending further investigation.

As of now, the crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol, with authorities working to uncover the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.

As members of the local community serving the Bradenton and Sarasota area for over 30 years we have seen too many people die in avoidable traffic accidents.

Goldman, Babboni, Fernandez, Murphy, and Walsh of southwest Florida, extends our deepest sympathies to all those affected by this tragic event. We urge drivers no matter thier situation to be attentive and responsible, and cautious on the roads to prevent such devastating incidents in the future.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people on charges of sexual battery and child pornography.

Nicholas Bassler Jr., 24, and Sierra Campany, 24, had several photos and videos of themselves performing sexual acts on children, the sheriff’s office said in a news release and press conference Wednesday morning. Investigators said there may be more victims.

“What you’re looking at here is pure evil. I’ve been doing this job for close to 40 years and it takes a lot to bother me. This case absolutely sickens me,” Manatee County Sheriff Rick Wells said at the press conference.

“I don’t know how you could do the things that they have done to small children and go to sleep tonight. This, in my opinion, is lower than any scum that I’ve been around in a long, long time,” Wells said.

Bassler and Campany transmitted the sexual abuse materials via Facebook, detectives said.

Facebook flagged these transmissions as possible sexual abuse materials and contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, where the crimes were then traced to Bradenton and directed to the sheriff’s office on June 5.

That led detectives to the 5000 block of 23rd Street West in Bradenton on Sept. 13 where they obtained a search warrant under probable cause, the news release said.

Officers took several electronic items, including a tablet, and found the child porn images and videos on them, with victims ranging in age from 10 months old to 10 years old, the news release said.

Play equipment and a small child’s green crocs were outside the house Wednesday morning, along with a no trespassing sign.

Detectives said at the press conference that the couple knew the victims and had personal relationships with them and may have babysat a few of the kids, but could not release any further details about their relationship.

Lt. Mark Morie of the Crimes Against Children Unit said that Bassler and Campany were dating and that Bassler had groomed Campany to sexually assault the children. He also said he could not rule out the possibility that Bassler may have done this with previous girlfriends as well.

He also said that Campany tested positive for PCP while nine months pregnant.

Detectives said these crimes may have been happening for six months or more and that they have reason to believe there could be additional victims.

Morie said the suspects and one of the victims traveled to New York and that there may be victims in that state as well. He said they will pass information about the case to law enforcement agencies in New York.

Bassler Jr. and Campany were arrested on Thursday and Friday on capital sexual battery charges. They face additional charges for possession, transmission and production of child porn.

The punishment for a capital sexual battery charge is mandatory life in prison without the possibility of parole, according to Florida statutes.

Detectives say forensics on a cellphone showed video of Campany sexually battering a 3-year-old and a 10-month-old child and a video of Bassler sexually battering the 10-month-old as well. Further investigation found that he also sexually battered a 10-year-old child, Wells said.

Bassler Jr. and Campany confessed to the crimes, according to detectives.

They are in custody, arrest records show.

Detectives said more charges are possible and that Bassler was previously arrested in 2018 for lewd and lascivious crimes

“I’m here today because we believe that we have more victims out there,” Wells said at the press conference.

“I would say to any adult that knows these two dirtbags, who has kids that have been around them, to talk to your children and make sure that they have not been sexually battered or attempted sexual battery on their children,” he said.

Bassler’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Anyone who suspects a child has had contact with Bassler, Jr. or Campany is urged to contact Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children detectives at (941) 747-3011 Ext. 2522, the news release said.

Bradenton Area Thrives As Live-Work-Play Community On Florida’s West Coast

“The Bradenton Area on Florida’s West Coast used to be a well-kept secret, but not anymore,” said Sharon Hillstrom, president and CEO of the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation. “Working professionals and young families are rapidly discovering the live-work-play combination they desire in this community that offers incredible natural assets, excellent career opportunities, and vibrant town centers.”Located south of...

“The Bradenton Area on Florida’s West Coast used to be a well-kept secret, but not anymore,” said Sharon Hillstrom, president and CEO of the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation. “Working professionals and young families are rapidly discovering the live-work-play combination they desire in this community that offers incredible natural assets, excellent career opportunities, and vibrant town centers.”

Located south of Tampa Bay and north of Sarasota, the Bradenton Area includes the nine communities of Manatee County — Anna Maria, Bradenton, Bradenton Beach, Ellenton, Holmes Beach, Lakewood Ranch, Longboat Key, Palmetto, and Parrish.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that, following the pandemic, the nation’s employment levels recovered in August 2022, while the State of Florida fared better than the rest of the country with recovery in October 2021. Manatee County’s recovery in June 2021 preceded both Florida and the nation.

“The Bradenton Area’s job recovery a full year ahead of the rest of the country demonstrates the business friendly environment that new and expanding businesses appreciate in our community,” Hillstrom said. “We also are attracting the talent to fill those positions.”

“The Bradenton Area’s job recovery a full year ahead of the rest of the country demonstrates the business friendly environment that new and expanding businesses appreciate.”

— Sharon Hillstrom, Bradenton Area EDC

While 15 Florida counties lost population between 2010 and 2021, Manatee County was in the top 10 for population growth rate. The developers of Lakewood Ranch, a rapidly growing master-planned community, recently reported on in-migration for 2021 and 2022. The community’s top feeder markets were the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and California.

Floridians account for more in-migration than out-of-staters at Lakewood Ranch because the households moved to Florida within the past two years and were renting in surrounding counties, according to Lakewood Ranch staff. They chose Lakewood Ranch when they were ready to buy a home, largely for the schools. Interestingly, Lakewood Ranch is seeing multi-generational moves with young families including seniors in their living arrangement — a trend worth watching, Hillstrom says.

The experience of Lakewood Ranch exemplifies the draw of distinct communities throughout Manatee County, which offer a variety of housing options, recreational amenities and schools.

Highly rated public schools foster career-focused pathways from K-12 to higher education in Manatee County. The school district’s K-12 STEM programs offer students the ability to learn coding skills, engage in robotics, solve real world problems, and acquire computer technology skills. Competitions — such as STEM Fair and VEX IQ Robotics — serve to enhance teamwork and collaboration, support a growth mindset, and improve data analysis. Competitions also assist in developing problem-solving skills and building confidence while getting students motivated and engaged.

College preparatory schools and private schools, like world-renowned sports training destination IMG Academy, extend throughout the region. Post-secondary institutions include Manatee Technical College; State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota, a regional campus of the University of South Florida; the University of Florida’s engineering campus, Innovation Station; the globally recognized Ringling College of Art + Design; LECOM Dental School and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

“The Bradenton Area is a model multi-generational community,” Hillstrom said. “Vibrant town centers like Bradenton’s downtown and Village of the Arts offer events and activities that appeal to the young and young-at-heart. For example, the annual Bradenton Blues Festival has become one of the top blues events in the nation. Additionally, the area’s sports events draw thousands of competitors and spectators to venues across the county.”

Nature lovers are attracted to Manatee County’s 27 miles of beaches, 33 parks and 30,000 acres of conservation lands that are managed for preservation and passive recreation, Hillstrom said. The county offers a handy interactive map to help visitors find their slice of paradise. Another popular outdoor recreational attraction, the Bradenton Riverwalk, extends along the Manatee River from downtown eastward to the Manatee Village Historical Park. And the historic fishing village of Cortez provides a glimpse into the world of commercial fleet fishing, along with authentic, local eateries.

“I tell professionals looking to relocate here: Whether you love nature preserves with miles of biking trails, vibrant communities teeming with public art and free concerts, or sports programs from Little League to Pittsburgh Pirates spring training and the Minor League Bradenton Marauders, the Bradenton Area offers a small-town vibe with an excellent opportunity to raise a family and pursue your career,” Hillstrom concluded.

A new Starbucks coffee shop is coming to West Bradenton, but city officials are worried about the traffic it may bring.

The Bradenton City Council voted Wednesday to approve the permit for a 2,500-square-foot Starbucks on the southeast corner of Manatee Avenue and 75th Street West. An opening date has not been announced.

According to city staff, Starbucks will demolish the vacant SunTrust Bank building on that corner to build the coffeehouse. The store will feature indoor seating, patio seating and a drive-thru.

Seattle-based Starbucks sells coffee, tea sandwiches and baked goods. There are 17 Starbucks locations in Manatee County.

After Albertsons and Kmart shuttered along both sides of Manatee Avenue, the two shopping centers failed to attract new tenants for several years. But recently, businesses have taken a new interest in the area.

“This area is starting to see a renaissance with development,” said Greg DeLong, Bradenton’s assistant director of the Planning and Community Development Department.

In addition to Starbucks, a Target store and a Manatee Memorial Hospital free-standing emergency room are under construction near the major intersection.

Before voting in favor of the project, council members expressed concern about the traffic the planned Starbucks may generate. Councilwoman Jayne Kocher noted that the site plan would not allow customers to turn south onto 75th Street West, potentially causing traffic backups or forcing customers to cut through the Village Green neighborhood.

Councilwoman Marianne Barnebey echoed those concerns and urged Starbucks to consider a building design that allows additional cars to stack in the drive-thru lane.

“I’m not opposed to Starbucks being there, but maybe they need to take a page out of Chick-fil-A’s playbook and look at some additional stacking. We know the problems we have at Manatee (Avenue) and U.S. 301,” Barnebey said, referring to another local Starbucks.

DeLong said the city’s Public Works Department will review the traffic impact at a later stage in the approval process. Council members voted 4-0 to approve a special use permit for Starbucks. Councilman Josh Cramer was absent and didn’t cast a vote.

A media contact for Starbucks didn’t respond to the Bradenton Herald’s request for comment on Wednesday.
