Medical Weight Loss in Butler, NJ

Did you know that more than 40% of adults in the United States suffer from obesity? Unfortunately, there is no miracle cure for this condition. Perhaps worse is that more and more adults and children are gaining weight across the country, choosing the convenience of fast and nutrition-deficient foods over healthy eating, exercise, and positive life choices. From an aesthetic standpoint, being overweight is a struggle - clothes don't fit right, people make uncomfortable comments about how you look, and everyday activities are less appealing.

If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.

Treatment in Butler

Treatment in Butler, NJ

Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.

Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Butler, NJ, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.

However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.

If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.

What is Semaglutide Treatment in Butler, NJ?

If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.

You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."

Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.

What is Treatment in Butler, NJ?

When combined with healthy lifestyle choices like diet and exercise, Semaglutide can help provide:

Who Should Consider Semaglutide Therapy in Butler, NJ?

There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.

A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.

It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?

If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.

Healthy Eating Tips While Taking Semaglutide

As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Butler, NJ are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.

One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.

Eat Whole Foods

Eat Whole Foods

To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.

Be Mindful When You Eat

Be Mindful When You Eat

Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Keep Your Body Hydrated

To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.

Meal-Prepping

Use Meal Prepping to Your Advantage

Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.

Other Peptide Therapies and Medicines for Medical Weight Loss in Butler, NJ

Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.

What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.

Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.

Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Damaged Cartilage
  • Arthritis
CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.

This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.

That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.

Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Reduction in Body Fat
  • Boosted Metabolism
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Immune System
  • More
MIC Injections for Weight Loss

MIC Injections for Weight Loss

A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.

When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.

7-Keto DHEA for Weight Loss

In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.

Much like Semaglutide treatment in Butler, NJ, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:

  • Weight Loss
  • Improvement to Lean Muscle Mass
  • Boosted Thyroid Activity
  • Enhanced Memory
  • Anti-Aging Treatment
  • Better Memory

While it remains unclear if the Phoenix Suns can actually acquire Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler in a trade, Kevin Durant reportedly wants it to happen.

ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins reports Durant wants the six-time NBA All-Star -- his former teammate on the 2016 USA Olympic gold-medal winning team -- in Phoenix, and that each would sign a contract extension with the Suns if a trade materializes.

“It’s about two things, okay,” Perkins said on air. “It’s about money, right? And from my sources, they’re telling me that the Suns have a two-year $121 million extension waiting on Jimmy. I ain’t no genius, but that’s $60 million a year. Here’s the next thing. It’s about relationships. And the relationship is Jimmy Butler and Kevin Durant.

“From my sources... the Suns have a 2-year, $121 million extension waiting on Jimmy... Kevin Durant wants Jimmy Butler, and if he does get Jimmy Butler... they'll both gonna sign contract extensions.”- Big Perk(via @RoadTrippinPod / @ClutchPoints ) pic.twitter.com/e9Gj0oEoZy

— NBACentral (@TheDunkCentral) January 9, 2025

“Not only do Phoenix, yes the organization wants him,” Perkins added. “You know why? Because Kevin Durant wants Jimmy Butler. And if he does get Jimmy Butler, which I believe he will, they’re both gonna sign contract extensions. KD is going to sign as well. Now, what will happen to Devin Booker in the future? I don’t know. But at the end of the day, this is what makes sense.”

All that said, the Suns would likely have to trade Bradley Beal to land Butler, and Beal’s agent has said Beal won’t waive his no-trade clause.

“The irony of this situation is the best fit and most aggressive team for Jimmy Butler is maybe the one out of the 29 teams that has the hardest time getting him, that’s the Phoenix Suns,” ESPN’s Brian Windhorst said this week on ESPN. “The only functional way to get him is Bradley Beal, who has a no trade clause and the Heat two years ago...

“So that would take a third or potentially fourth team and those deals are very hard to put together. It’s going to be a lot of talking and a lot of complicated maneuvering. I think Butler will eventually get moved, but the Heat don’t like their hand right now at all.”

The Golden State Warriors are considered the other top favorite to land Butler before the Feb. 6 trade deadline.

Quentin Richardson, an ESPN analyst who played for multiple NBA teams, including the Heat, Suns and Knicks, doesn’t think Heat President Pat Riley will deal Butler to either Western Conference team.

“To be honest, I don’t see the Heat sending him to either one of those places, man,” Richardson said Sunday on SportsCenter. “I don’t know where he will end up. I absolutely think and know that the Miami Heat will make this happen at some point, and I know it will be in the best interests of the Heat, knowing the way Pat Riley moves, but I really doubt that he’ll go to one of those great destinations like Phoenix or Golden State where he’ll have a chance to win in that way, right away.”

Jimmy Butler requests trade from Miami Heat: ‘He’s as good as gone’

Jimmy Butler has requested a trade from the Miami Heat, according to an ESPN report, and now it’s a waiting game to see if the six-time NBA All-Star is ultimately dealt.

“He is [as] good as gone,” one league source told NJ Advance Media. “The timing depends on [Heat President Pat] Riley. No one will know exactly when.”

The source said the Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns are the likeliest landing spots for Butler.

Riley bluntly refuted the trade talk last week, saying “We are not trading Jimmy Butler.”

Following Miami’s 128-115 loss Thursday at the Indiana Pacers, Butler was asked if he can find joy playing in Miami.

“Probably not,” he said.

Butler scored just nine points in the game and didn’t play in the fourth quarter for a second straight game.

“What do I want to see happen? I want to see me get my joy back from playing basketball, wherever that may be — we’ll find out here pretty soon,” Butler said. “I want to get my joy back. I’m happy here, off the court, but I want to be back to somewhere dominant. I want to hoop and I want to help this team win. Right now, I’m not doing that.”

ESPN reported that Butler has “indicated” to the Heat that he wants a trade. Butler has not said publicly if he wants to be moved. The network also reported on Christmas Day that Butler would prefer a trade by the Feb. 6 deadline.

Butler is making $49 million this season and has a player option for $52 million next season.

The Suns are reportedly interested but could only trade Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal and Devin Booker, per ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.

Windhorst added that Beal — who is owed $110 million over the next two years — would have to waive his no-trade clause to make this happen. He also pointed out that Beal wanted to go to Miami when he was with Washington but that the Heat did not want him.

As for the Warriors, they would likely have to trade Dennis Schroder, newly acquired from the Brooklyn Nets without giving up a first-round pick, along with Jonathan Kuminga and Andrew Wiggins.

CEDAR GROVE − Rob Gogerty never had any thoughts of rescheduling the biggest game in his school’s history.

The Cedar Grove coach admits he doesn’t have a history of success the few times he’s moved games due to inclement weather.

So, when the idea was floated to push Friday’s state playoff game to Saturday to work around two days of rain, Gogerty wasn’t having any of it.

“I’m 0-3 when moving and postponing games. I had it in my head yesterday that we’re playing,” Gogerty said. “We have experienced kids and we’ve played in this weather before. Actually, my coaches were mad at me because we practiced inside yesterday. I just knew we’d play a good game. We were prepared.”

The most prolific offense in the state put on its signature air show to secure a spot in the state finals.

Cedar Grove, one of only seven undefeated teams left in New Jersey, took down previously-unbeaten Butler, 52-21, in a Group 1 semifinal in driving rain on Friday in Essex County.

Senior quarterback Stephen Paradiso who is second in the state in passing yards, threw for 381 yards and four touchdowns as the Panthers outscored the Bulldogs, 25-0 in the second half.

“At first, the weather was a concern. Getting out here and touching the first ball I realized it wasn’t going to be as bad as I thought. I knew we were going to be alright,” Paradiso said. “[Coach] Gogerty’s message before the game was that he wanted to keep firing. He’s not changing our offense because of the weather. We’re going to come out and do what we do.”

Paradiso threw three touchdowns in the first half, two to Jackson Morrice on the Panthers first two drives.

Morrice, the state's leader in receptions (89) and receiving yards (1,748), scored on catches of 43 yards and 29 yards and returned an interception 42 yards for a score.

Cedar Grove scored on its first three possessions to take a 21-7 lead with 10:58 left in the first half. The Essex County team then stretched its lead to 27-14 when Morrice picked off Butler quarterback David Smith with 2:28 remaining in the second quarter.

The Panthers defense managed to keep Butler’s fast-paced offense in check. Senior linebacker Connor Kerney, who entered the game with 138 tackles, disrupted the Bulldogs game plan and put pressure on Smith all night.

“We didn’t think anything of the weather. We knew we were the better team,” said Kerney, one of the leading tacklers in New Jersey. “Our game is on the next level and it’s all panning out in our last year.”

Kerney, who occasionally runs the ball, scored twice out of the backfield in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach.

Butler (11-1) came out firing to open the game when Smith connected with Peter Calvi on a four-yard touchdown reception on the opening drive with 6:24 left in the first quarter.

Trailing 27-7 in the second quarter, the Bulldogs got a break when Peyton Kiburz returned a Morrice fumble 48 yards with 2:28 left. Ninety seconds later, Smith connected with Calvi from 10 yards to pull within six with under a minute to go.

What it means

Cedar Grove (13-0) advances to the Group 1 final, where it will meet fellow undefeated Glassboro (12-0). The Bulldogs defeated Woodstown, 36-0, in the other Group 1 semifinal on Friday night.

Butler, playing in its first Group semifinal, closes out one of its best campaigns in program history.

By the numbers

∎ Paradiso was 22-of-35 and connected for touchdowns with four different receivers. He has now thrown for 3,501 yards and 40 touchdowns this season.

∎ Morrice had nine catches for 148 yards and two touchdowns. The senior has a state-best 89 grabs for 1,748 yards and 21 touchdowns on the season.

∎ Cedar Grove's Nick Russo had five receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown.

∎ Kerney led the defense with seven tackles, four solo.

∎ Smith was 8-of-29 for 109 yards and two touchdowns for Butler.

∎ Calvi had five receptions for 37 yards and two touchdowns for Butler.

They said it

“This team amazes me. I think this is one of the best wins we’ve ever had here. Straight up. Butler is a very good football team that’s very-well coached. I thought we were dominant throughout the game.” – Gogerty.

BUTLER − The Rock and the North Jersey Interscholastic Conference football trophy have a new address this year.

Butler earned the latter with Friday night’s 21-12 victory over Glen Rock at Hempsted Field in the ninth annual NJIC Tournament final.

The Bulldogs joined the conference in 2018, the program’s 100th season. This year, they became the first team from outside of southern Bergen County to win the championship.

Players carried the crystalline football trophy to the school’s traditional victory-celebration spot – a large, blue-painted rock just outside the stadium fence.

Except, that is also something new.

Check out the photo gallery, then continue reading.

“They’re doing a lot of construction at the school, so they had to move The Rock down here,” Butler senior Mikey Henehan explained.

That means, at least temporarily, that players and coaches no longer make the two-block procession from Hempsted back to the high school accompanied by the marching band.

“It’s an iconic spot over there by the high school, but it’s great that we still have it,” Henehan said.

“It’ll be back, hopefully when the construction is over,” Bulldogs coach Jason Luciani said, although it was pointed out that his team is unbeaten in NJIC Tournament play with The Rock at its new location.

“I hear a lot of people tell me they like the rock better at the other place, so we’ll see what happens,” Luciani added with a smile.

What it means

Butler improved to 8-0 and all but locked up a top seed in one of the two North Group 1 sectional-playoff brackets. Its defense has not allowed more that two touchdowns in a game and held both Becton (semifinals) and Glen Rock (final) to their lowest scoring outputs of the season.

The Panthers (7-1) did move the ball effectively, rushing for 155 yards and dominating time of possession. They remain in contention for a top seed in North Group 2.

Key plays

The Glen Rock defense did not allow a first down until 3:02 remained in the second quarter. Butler capped its fifth possession of the game with a 50-yard PJ Coffey touchdown run, which gave the home team a 7-3 lead.

Coffey also scored from 50 yards out on the Bulldogs’ opening possession of the third quarter, extending the lead to 14-6 on a reception from quarterback David Smith.

“I’ve been at Butler since 1998 [head coach since 2013], and PJ is the best player since I’ve been here,” Luciani said. “He’s just so good on defense, on offense, running the ball – we didn’t really get a chance to let him throw it tonight, but he can throw it, too.”

Mi-key plays

Henehan helped his team keep the lead and put away the game. After the Panthers pulled within two on Nick Atme’s 4-yard TD pass to Tyler Brassil – their second fourth-down conversion of a 15-play drive – the receiver/cornerback broke up the potential tying two-point conversion.

The Bulldogs held that 14-12 lead until the clock ticked under three minutes, and they faced fourth-and-11 at the Glen Rock 28. Smith found Henehan open in the slot for a 23-yard gain to convert.

“I’d like to thank PJ for that, because he saw that they were all keying on him,” Henehan said. “So, we put him on the other side [of the formation], and Max [Reilly] did a great job of clearing out the other corner, so I was able to go down the middle.”

Game balls

► Smith completed 6-of-13 passes for 95 yards and ran 12 times for 65 yards and the icing touchdown… though he had been advised to go down at the 1. “My coach ctold me not to score, but when I see the end zone, I get a little excited,” he admitted.

► Coffey carried eight times for 50 yards and caught three passes for 60. Peyton Kiburz led the Butler defense with 13 tackles and a sack.

► Atme threw for 85 yards and rushed for 96, while Mike Flaccavento made a pair of 37-yard field goals, including one as the first half expired.

They said it

“David, toward the end of the game, I was hoping he would get down… these things happen in championship football. And that is still Glen Rock over there – I don’t know how many state titles, a lot of tradition, tough kids with a lot of pride, coaching staff that has a bunch of experience. So, hats off to them and the type of game that they played, but we knew if we did what we needed to, we’d be fine.” —Luciani
