Medical Weight Loss in Mendham Township, NJ

Did you know that more than 40% of adults in the United States suffer from obesity? Unfortunately, there is no miracle cure for this condition. Perhaps worse is that more and more adults and children are gaining weight across the country, choosing the convenience of fast and nutrition-deficient foods over healthy eating, exercise, and positive life choices. From an aesthetic standpoint, being overweight is a struggle - clothes don't fit right, people make uncomfortable comments about how you look, and everyday activities are less appealing.

From a health and wellness standpoint, however, being obese is much worse. Your life is literally on the line. The people who love you and depend on you to be in their lives could lose you sooner than you expect. With time, you have a higher chance of suffering from significant, life-changing issues such as:

If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.

Treatment in Mendham Township

Treatment in Mendham Township, NJ

Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.

Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Mendham Township, NJ, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.

However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.

If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.

What is Semaglutide Treatment in Mendham Township, NJ?

If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.

You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."

Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.

What is Treatment in Mendham Township, NJ?

When combined with healthy lifestyle choices like diet and exercise, Semaglutide can help provide:

Who Should Consider Semaglutide Therapy in Mendham Township, NJ?

There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.

A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.

It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?

If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.

Healthy Eating Tips While Taking Semaglutide

As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Mendham Township, NJ are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.

One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.

Eat Whole Foods

Eat Whole Foods

To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.

Be Mindful When You Eat

Be Mindful When You Eat

Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Keep Your Body Hydrated

To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.

Meal-Prepping

Use Meal Prepping to Your Advantage

Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.

Other Peptide Therapies and Medicines for Medical Weight Loss in Mendham Township, NJ

Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.

What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.

Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.

Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Damaged Cartilage
  • Arthritis
CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.

This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.

That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.

Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Reduction in Body Fat
  • Boosted Metabolism
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Immune System
  • More
MIC Injections for Weight Loss

MIC Injections for Weight Loss

A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.

When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.

Phentermine for Weight Loss

Like other weight loss peptides and medicines on this page, Phentermine can help you lose weight when you stick to a medical weight loss plan that includes dieting, exercise, and smart life choices. It does so by reducing your appetite, which limits the number of calories you eat every day.

As is the case with Semaglutide, Phentermine has been approved by the FDA and is supported by clinical studies that show it can support weight loss. With time, patience, and healthy living, this supplement may help you reach your wellness goals sooner than you thought possible.

7-Keto DHEA for Weight Loss

In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.

Much like Semaglutide treatment in Mendham Township, NJ, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:

  • Weight Loss
  • Improvement to Lean Muscle Mass
  • Boosted Thyroid Activity
  • Enhanced Memory
  • Anti-Aging Treatment
  • Better Memory

MENDHAM, NJ — Mendham Borough's Board of Education will hold a special meeting next week to discuss the upcoming bond referendum.

Ahead of the Jan. 28 bond referendum, the Mendham Borough School District is inviting residents to an in-person Community Referendum Information Forum this Thursday.

The school district established this community forum to ensure that residents are fully informed about the projects associated with this referendum and have ample opportunity to share questions and feedback.

The in-person information session will begin at 6 p.m. at Mountain View School, located at 100 Dean Road, Mendham. Residents are also encouraged to submit any questions in advance to the district's dedicated referendum email at [email protected].

During the district’s strategic planning process last fall, the Mendham Borough community came together to celebrate the district’s strengths and identify areas for continued growth.

Teachers, administrators, board members, parents and community members collaborated to define key priorities for the district over the next five years. The goals set during the 2024-2029 strategic planning process have directly influenced the projects proposed in the two-part bond referendum scheduled for Jan. 28.

Question 1: Upgrades to learning environments, infrastructure and security

Question 2: Addition of an auditorium at Mountain View School

If question one passes, homeowners with an average-assessed property can expect a decrease of about $6 per month in their property tax. This is because the new debt suggested in question one is lower than the current school debt, keeping the tax rate nearly the same.

If both questions pass, homeowners with an average-assessed property will see an increase of about $22 per month in their school debt tax. Question two will only take effect if question one is approved.

For example, if both questions are approved, a resident with a home assessed at $500,000 would see a tax increase of $16 per month, while someone with an assessed value of $800,000 would face an increase of $25 per month.

However, it’s important to note that assessed value differs from and is often lower than, market value. To find your home’s assessed value, visit njpropertyrecords.com.

According to the school board, all the proposed projects in question one are eligible for the maximum amount of state aid. However, the district can only receive this funding if voters approve the bond referendum.

Here is a breakdown of the improvements for question one:

MOUNTAIN VIEW SCHOOL

HILLTOP SCHOOL

Here is a breakdown of the improvements for question two:

MOUNTAIN VIEW SCHOOL

The proposed addition would include a state-of-the-art auditorium with over 380 seats, providing a dedicated venue for events such as promotions (currently held offsite at West Morris Regional High School), school assemblies and more. According to the district, the auditorium would also be available for community use.

If voters approve question two, the auditorium is expected to be completed by early 2027.

MENDHAM, NJ —The new year is nearly here, and there are plenty of ways to ring in 2025 with family and friends in the Mendham and Chester area.

Here is a look at some additional events happening in and around Mendham and Chester. Patch has you covered no matter what your mood is.

In the United States, one of the most popular New Year’s Eve traditions is the dropping of the giant ball in New York City’s Times Square. Other U.S. cities have their own versions of this celebration, such as the Peeps Chick Drop in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and the giant Potato Drop in Boise, Idaho.

The transition from one year to the next is often marked by the singing of “Auld Lang Syne,” a Scottish folk song whose title roughly translates to “days gone by,” according to Encyclopedia Britannica and History.com.

The tradition of New Year’s resolutions dates back 8,000 years to ancient Babylonians, who made promises to return borrowed items and repay debts at the beginning of the new year, which was in mid-March when they planted their crops.

According to legend, if people kept their word, the pagan gods would grant them favor in the coming year. However, if they broke their promises, they would lose favor with the gods. Many secular New Year’s resolutions focus on imagining new, improved versions of ourselves.

The failure rate of New Year’s resolutions is about 80 percent, according to U.S. News & World Report. There are many reasons, but a big one is they’re made out of remorse — for gaining weight, for example — and aren’t accompanied by a shift in attitude or a plan for coping with the stress and discomfort that comes with changing a habit or condition.

When Karen Gillingham bought her circa-1905 Mendham Township home just after her 26-year marriage ended, she hoped it might one day become the centerpiece of a happy new life. Her intuition proved prophetic when she met Duke Gillingham in 2015, and the joyful couple married inside the property’s red barn in 2016.

The residence had been renovated by previous owners in stages, but Karen and Duke have remade the curated country farmhouse over the past eight years. Karen’s passion for design first blossomed during the construction of her former home in Harding Township, where she immersed herself in researching and refining the details. “I love reading books on historical architecture, decorating and art. And Duke and I travel extensively. So we brought all those interests and experiences into our home,” she says.

“Our decor borrows from what we’ve experienced during our annual European trips and also on our weekly jaunts through the back roads of the Northeast,” Duke adds. Their holiday haven exudes a simple but welcoming country vibe, decorated with a soulful mix from the United States, France, Italy, England and other countries. The couple, who recently returned home from a 30-day whirlwind getaway to Croatia, Germany and Austria, believe their eclectic lair is unbound by rigid adherence to schemes or trendy choices.

Each year, the Gillingham holiday table is a reflection of recent globe-roaming adventures and a gathering spot for their ever-expanding blended family of three generations, along with their beloved mini goldendoodle, Fergus. “We’ve hosted raucous gatherings of the entire crew in the barn at a long table for 20, as well as smaller, more intimate settings in the house,” Karen notes. For Christmas 2024, Duke says, they will host a lavish soiree that “embraces the peace and tranquility of the holiday” amid the pastoral setting adjacent to Dismal Harmony Preserve.

This year, Karen, a retired pediatric nurse and former home stager, and Duke, a retired business leader, are inviting the outside in. Their dining room tablescape and staircase banister overflow with fresh cuttings of spruce, magnolia, holly and boxwood foraged from the four-acre property. Dried citrus, cinnamon sticks and pine cones embellish the table and harken back to earlier, simpler holidays. Pears, real and faux, can be found at each place setting and nestled in nooks and crannies throughout the communal first-floor space.

“Our tablescape is styled with an Italian textile, pewter chargers, antique plates and stemware, along with handmade Lithuanian napkins that celebrate the maternal side of my family,” Karen says. French bistro chairs and a bench with vintage kilim and velvet pillows make holiday meals feel relaxed and cozy.

Photo: Laura Moss

When the guest list can range from 6 to 20 each holiday, flexibility is key. So the couple have established a tradition of cocktails and charcuterie that suit a fluctuating crowd. The kitchen’s roomy island with quartzite counter is party-central. “We all get together at the island to sip wine and enjoy our favorite foods,” Duke says. “The meats and cheeses are arranged on our vintage cutting boards, and it’s the perfect spot to laugh and consume.”

Karen adds, “Based on our travel across cultures, we’ve experienced the preparation of food with family, so we worked closely with our contractor to create a space that encourages this kind of interaction. Now it’s become a family tradition, and our kids can also pass on the idea of preparing, eating and cleaning up together.”

The space comes alive with open white-oak shelving, inspired by deVOL Kitchens of England, an Italian Ilve range, brass shelf brackets, handmade Zellige tiles and antique chestnut floors. Fresh-baked gingerbread people and the fragrance of roasted chestnuts welcome guests. Soft amber light projected from Italian and French fixtures enhances the traditional experience.

After a home-cooked dinner of turkey, filet mignon, butternut-squash lasagna, and risotto with chestnuts, guests move to the family room to discover overflowing stockings made from vintage kilim textiles hung from the hand-hewn mantle of the antique home’s original stone fireplace. An original oil painting from a New Jersey artist is festooned with just-cut greens and vintage bells. But the focal point of the festivities is the jolly tree that evokes old-world simplicity with sparkly crystal snowflakes and a vintage topper.

Santa’s goodies are wrapped in festive papers reproduced from William Morris designs, and rich satin and velvet ribbons add distinction to each package. Inside the boxes are tucked gifts of travel, tickets to meaningful events, cooking experiences, and inspirational items gleaned from the couple’s journeys. “Our holiday gifts reflect our ethos of collecting experiences rather than objects,” Karen says. “We believe that a house becomes a home when it tells our ever-evolving story,” Duke adds. “Our home is the curation of our life.”

Morris County Commissioners approved $1.8 million to preserve 65+ acres across three municipalities, including Mendham.

MENDHAM, NJ — Three projects, totaling 65 acres, have been approved to split $1.8 million in open space preservation grants, after recommendations made by the Morris County’s Open Space Trust Fund Committee were approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

The three projects, spanning from recreational spaces to vital ecological areas, are located in Denville, Madison and Mendham, with sizes ranging from 3.5 to 51 acres.

The Morris County Board of County Commissioners voted last week to approve the latest round of funding from the county's 2024 Open Space Program, which includes roughly $447,234 for Mendham.

"We are proud to approve these projects for funding, as they protect critical habitats, expand recreational opportunities, and ensure the long-term health of our environment," said Commissioner Deputy Director Stephen Shaw.

The board had previously received recommendations from the Morris County Open Space Trust Fund Committee to allocate part of the funding for the expansion of Mendham's Schiff Preserve.

Find out what's happening in Mendham-Chesterfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

The proposed $447,234 grant would fund the acquisition of 11 acres, with the Raritan Headwaters Association as the applicant.

Located along the Somerset County border, the Schiff Preserve Addition borders the North Branch of the Raritan River and includes a conservation easement to protect Category One waters and steep slopes.

Once acquired, the property will be transferred to the Schiff Natural Lands Trust, expanding their existing Nature Preserve. The newly acquired land would be managed for conservation and passive recreation, officials said.

“Since 1994, we’ve preserved more than 18,300 acres of open space, which is an area larger than the Township of Parsippany, reflecting our commitment to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for all residents,” Shaw added.

Funding for the project comes from a voter-approved preservation fund, which supports farmland and historic preservation, county park acquisitions, trail development and the purchase of flood-prone properties.

The Schiff Nature Preserve, originally a 340-acre tract in Mendham Township and Mendham Borough, has expanded to 768 acres across Mendham and Chester, and is now managed by the Schiff Natural Lands Trust, Inc.

The trust privately owns and oversees four nature preserves, open to the public from dawn to dusk for passive recreational activities such as walking, hiking, dog walking, bird watching, photography and picnicking.

Vianella Burns, Patch Staff

MENDHAM, NJ — Election Day is nearing, and Mendham voters will soon head to the polls to cast their votes for the open seats on the borough council.

Patch sent questionnaires to all candidates, seeking their responses. Here is the response from candidate Mark Van Den Hende.

What drove you to seek public office?

I’m inspired to seek the Borough Council position for two reasons. First, as a native New Jerseyan, I’ve loved Mendham since moving here when our twins were four. My wife Carol and I chose Mendham to raise our family and have stayed for the people we’ve met. Secondly, I’m running because my experience delivering complex projects provides me with the skills that can genuinely contribute to the future of our Borough and the well-being of our residents. This is especially true as our town faces the pressures developers are placing on the Borough to push through projects, and Mendham residents are dissatisfied with the lack of transparency in our current council. Having raised twin boys in Mendham I know that Mendham is a special place where families move to for the schools and the beauty and stay for generations. I’ll fight to preserve these attributes that we love.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

Find out what's happening in Mendham-Chesterfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

First, experience. With over 35 years of experience in the power industry, I have a proven track record of building collaborative teams to deliver complex projects under budget and on time. My roles have included project manager, commercial manager, and lead engineer. Throughout my career, I have successfully managed multimillion-dollar projects, negotiated intricate contracts, and designed and procured equipment worth hundreds of millions. I excel in fostering effective communication and collaboration across all levels of an organization, whether working with executives and corporate counsel or collaborating directly with tradespeople.

Do you ever wonder what happens in a small borough government? I was motivated to apply my know-how, so I have spent two years contributing thought leadership and questions at Council, Joint Land Use Board (JLUB) and Environmental Commission, Open Space & Shade Tree (ECOSST) meetings. There’s real room for improvement. I understand why I hear from residents that transparency feels lacking. At times, agendas and pending resolutions or ordinances are posted at the last minute, limiting preparation by concerned citizens. Resolutions are introduced and adopted without a public reading. Public comments and questions are limited to minutes. The Borough Council has stated that they’re unable to implement live streaming for its meetings, despite it being a relatively straightforward technology. Many citizens have left the meetings with more questions than answers. Why the lack of transparency? Why limit discussions and input from residents? Why replace competent committee members with individuals that lack the knowledge and experience? Why not embrace collaborative efforts with the township? A vote for me will place decades of experience on the council.

What do you see as the biggest issue facing Mendham Borough?

The Borough is at a crucial crossroads, confronting a wave of development projects supported by teams of experts and attorneys. These initiatives pose significant challenges that our community, infrastructure, and environment are ill-prepared to manage. I am committed to leveraging my experience, leadership, and collaboration skills to benefit the Council and the citizens of the Borough. I aim to foster open communication with residents while working towards responsible development that meets our affordable housing obligations and addresses safety concerns, without compromising our historic community and fragile environment. The candidates you’re voting for will need the knowledge and experience to review and comprehend complex development applications. The courage to challenge developer’s experts and attorneys. And the skills to reshape projects into responsible and safe developments that take into consideration the competing needs of the developer, community, and the environment.

How do you keep the small town feel of Mendham Borough with the modern pressures of growth and development?

These are not partisan issues, they’re human ones. As an MBA, I’ll advocate for fiscal security. As a trained engineer, I’ll advocate for a fact-based approach to responsible development. As a dad, husband, and fellow resident, I’ll advocate for community members to have a seat at the table as we address these challenging issues. My focus is on thoughtful, sustainable growth that enhances our Borough without compromising what makes it unique.

Preserving Mendham’s small-town charm while supporting choiceful development requires careful planning and community engagement. I’ll leverage my decades of experience executing multimillion dollar projects to help ensure thoughtful decision-making. I also believe that every citizen’s voice has value in these decisions that affect us all. For too long, artificial barriers have prevented open discussion.

Imagine this. Instead of having a resolution or ordinance posted online just before a Council meeting, with a single copy available in the meeting, and an up-and-down vote, what if the Council committed to providing the documents several days in advance, with a summary of the intent and a reading in the meeting so that concerned citizens could provide constructive input prior to a vote?

Instead of putting a 3 minute limit on citizens being able to ask questions in meetings, what if the JLUB and Borough Council welcomed input from our residents? Instead of missing meetings when sick, traveling or providing care for others, residents could attend meetings online like Mendham Township, Bernardsville Borough, etc?

It’s your voice. It’s your vote. It’s time for a more balanced, level-headed, collaborative approach that will preserve our beautiful Borough. Vote for myself and Bob Ritger to help tip the scales to allow your opinions to be heard.

What is your favorite part of living in Mendham?

There’s so much to love.

First, the people. From the moment we met the teachers at Hilltop School, to chatting with neighbors, friends, volunteers and more, my wife and I knew that this town is filled with genuine and kind people. That’s why I’ve been giving back in the community for years, by serving as a poll worker on election days and donating to local organizations.

Secondly, the businesses. Our week isn’t complete without a visit to the local cleaners, bank, post office, restaurants, and stores. In large part, it’s because it’s a joy to see Michelle at the teller’s station, to say hello while dropping a package off to Greg, or to ask Simone about the menu options when dining at Sapori D’Italia, to name just a few of our favorites!

Saving the best for last, the town traditions create a lifetime of memories. Mendham parades dotted our childrens’ upbringing. In the past weeks, we’ve enjoyed seeing friends and neighbors at Mendham Fest, and have loved the bonfires, concerts, book talks, and so much more.

Come to think of it, what I treasure all circles back to the same powerful concept: the people that form this community. I cherish Mendham, and this will motivate me every day to work hard to keep this town a place where people feel connected and proud to live.
