If you're ready to get back to loving your life with more energy, confidence, and positivity, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may be for you. But to truly understand the benefits of peptides like Semaglutide, it's important you grasp what peptide therapy is and how it benefits your body.

Semaglutide Treatment in Bridgewater, NJ

Many individuals turn to peptide therapy to enhance their overall wellbeing by boosting hormones. Different types of peptides can target different areas of health, such as collagen peptides that can help improve skin, hair, and gut health.

Other peptides, such as AOD 9604, CJC 1295, and Semaglutide in Bridgewater, NJ, are incredibly beneficial for losing weight. Compared to vitamin supplements, peptide therapy works differently as peptides are already part of the proteins in our bodies, making them easier to absorb and benefit from. Conversely, our bodies can sometimes fail to absorb all the nutrients present in multivitamins, leading to their excretion through urine.

However, it's important to note that weight loss is a complex process that involves various factors like age, genetics, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. While peptides like Semaglutide can provide much-needed assistance in achieving your weight loss goals, they are most effective when combined with healthy dietary choices, regular exercise routines, and overall healthier lifestyle choices.

If you've already tried different weight loss plans and diets but haven't had any success, medical weight loss with peptide therapy may provide that extra boost you need to realize your goals.

What is Semaglutide Treatment in Bridgewater, NJ?

If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, diet and exercise are important, but it can be difficult to stick to a routine. For busy adults and parents, Semaglutide can be a helpful tool for weight loss. This injection, approved by the FDA for diabetes and obesity, works by stimulating GLP-1 receptors in the brain to aid in weight loss and improve long-term health.

You may be wondering to yourself, "That sounds great, but how does this type of peptide work?" Semaglutide acts like glucagon in your body, which signals to your brain that you're full and don't need to eat anymore. When you take Semaglutide, and you try to overeat, your body waves a proverbial red flag as if to say, "That's enough."

Semaglutide also slows down digestion, reducing unnecessary snacking throughout the day. By reducing glucose spikes after meals, it reduces inflammation, which is important for overall health. Additionally, Semaglutide helps your pancreas secrete insulin, regulates the glucose levels in your body, and even has anti-aging and longevity properties. If you're struggling to lose weight, peptide therapies for weight loss like Semaglutide can be an invaluable addition to your weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation.

Who Should Consider Semaglutide Therapy in Bridgewater, NJ?

There are multiple medications available to combat obesity by suppressing appetite and promoting weight loss. However, Semaglutide stands out as an exceptional option.

A recent study of 2,000 obese adults examined the effects of Semaglutide when combined with a diet and exercise program. The results were compared to those who only made lifestyle changes without taking Semaglutide. After 68 weeks, it was found that half of the participants using Semaglutide lost 15% of their body weight, with nearly a third losing 20%. In contrast, those who only made lifestyle changes lost an average of 2.4% of their weight.

It's obvious, then, that Semaglutide is a safe and effective supplement for your weight loss journey with Global Life Rejuvenation. But who is the ideal patient who should be taking it?

If you have a body mass index (BMI) of 27kg/m2 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol, or if your BMI is 30kg/m2 or higher, the FDA recommends Semaglutide for weight loss.

Healthy Eating Tips While Taking Semaglutide

As medical weight loss experts, one thing our doctors and practitioners know at Global Life Rejuvenation is that true weight loss isn't dictated by medicines. It's achieved by sticking to a combo of exercise, healthy life choices, and healthy eating habits. From there, peptides like Semaglutide in Bridgewater, NJ are great for taking your weight loss efforts to the next level of success.

One area where many patients fail in this process is with their diet. If you're considering Semaglutide treatment, keep these diet tips in mind.

Eat Whole Foods

Eat Whole Foods

To enhance your dietary habits, a practical approach is to concentrate on consuming whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. These food items are rich in nutrients and can provide a feeling of fullness and satisfaction while also promoting your overall wellbeing.

Be Mindful When You Eat

Be Mindful When You Eat

Eating mindfully involves being fully present and engaged during meals. This entails taking the time to enjoy the flavor of your food, being aware of your body's hunger and fullness signals, and avoiding distractions like electronics or television.

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Keep Your Body Hydrated

To maintain good health and support weight loss, it's crucial to drink plenty of water. It's recommended to drink at least 8-10 cups of water daily. You may also try adding low-calorie drinks like herbal tea or infused water to keep things interesting.

Meal-Prepping

Use Meal Prepping to Your Advantage

Planning your meals in advance is an effective approach to maintaining a healthy diet. Set aside some time each week to plan your meals and snacks, keeping in mind to incorporate a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. This will prevent impulsive food choices and guarantee that you have nutritious options available when hunger strikes.

Other Peptide Therapies and Medicines for Medical Weight Loss in Bridgewater, NJ

Unlike many medical weight loss clinics, which only offer cookie-cutter weight loss plans and one or two additional fat-busting solutions, Global Life Rejuvenation provides access to new, innovative supplements and medicines. If you're used to fad diets and "quick" weight loss plans, peptides like AOD 9604 and others may be new to you. To help build your foundation of healthy living knowledge, let's take a look at a few of the most popular weight-loss peptides and medicines available at Global Life Rejuvenation.

Semiglutide Weight Loss Bridgewater, NJ

AOD 9604 for Weight Loss

Often combined with Semaglutide regimens, AOD 9604 is known to promote fat breakdown, inhibit lipogenesis, and support tendons and cartilage. However, most recently, it has gained popularity due to its ability to boost metabolism and aid in burning fat.

What sets AOD 9604 apart is that it stimulates the pituitary gland without affecting tissue growth or blood sugar levels. Additionally, it can burn fat without causing overeating, making it a viable option for obese men and women who are trying to implement better eating habits.

Interestingly, AOD 9604 activates your body's fat-burning processes without requiring an HGH receptor. It also releases obese fat cells and reduces the accumulation of new fat cells. By helping to regulate blood sugar and manage insulin levels, AOD 9604 is excellent for weight loss but also for other maladies like inflammation.

Some conditions that this powerful peptide can help address include the following:

  • Obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Damaged Cartilage
  • Arthritis
 Medical Weight Loss Bridgewater, NJ

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for Weight Loss

This medical weight loss supplement Is technically a combo of two peptides. These substances work by stimulating your pituitary gland to produce more of your body's natural human growth hormone, which is secreted during both waking and sleeping periods.

This results in increased protein synthesis and levels of insulin-like growth factors. As hormone secretagogues, they help release hormones into circulation while mimicking the pituitary gland's production. Extensive research has been conducted on the effects of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin. As a tool for medical weight loss, it has shown very promising results.

That's because when growth hormone levels increase, nutrients are transported through the body faster, more fat is burned, and weight management becomes simpler. Additionally, because CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin increase the amount of growth hormone in your body, it stimulates the breakdown of triglycerides in adipocytes, leading to improved fat metabolism and reduced abdominal fat.

Benefits of CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin for weight loss include:

  • Weight Loss
  • Reduction in Body Fat
  • Boosted Metabolism
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Immune System
  • More

MIC Injections for Weight Loss

A Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injection is a mixture of lipotropics that aid in fat breakdown. The key components - methionine, inositol, and choline - work together to metabolize fat cells and eliminate stored fat deposits in the liver and body. Methionine is an important amino acid, inositol contributes to proper cell formation, and choline is a water-soluble nutrient that promotes healthy liver function. When combined, these compounds may help reduce body fat.

When used in conjunction with a medical weight loss plan from Global Life Rejuvenation, MIC injections can be a powerful addition to reclaiming your health and wellbeing.

Phentermine for Weight Loss

7-Keto DHEA for Weight Loss

In the body, 7-keto-DHEA is produced from dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a hormone made by glands near your kidneys. However, unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted into androgen and estrogen in your body. Instead, 7-keto-DHEA is used orally or topically to boost your body's metabolism. It also helps convert more of your energy into heat, instead of storing it in your body as fat, which can accumulate with time and lifestyle choices.

Much like Semaglutide treatment in Bridgewater, NJ, 7-keto-DHEA has been shown to be very effective for weight loss as well as a host of other issues. Additional benefits of taking 7-keto-DHEA may include the following:

  • Weight Loss
  • Improvement to Lean Muscle Mass
  • Boosted Thyroid Activity
  • Enhanced Memory
  • Anti-Aging Treatment

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Cooler weather has allowed the Bridgewater Library to remain open. However, its malfunctioning HVAC system remains an ongoing issue and is in need of replacement.

"With milder temperatures in the forecast (especially cooler temperatures overnight), we anticipate cooler temperatures inside the library for the foreseeable future. Hopefully, this means no further disruption to service," Bridgewater Branch Manager Lynn Mazur said to Patch.

The library branch at 1 Vogt Dr. in Bridgewater, which is part of the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey(SCLSNJ), has previously been forced to close due to high temperatures and a non-working HVAC system.

All SCLSNJ buildings are owned and maintained by its hosting town.

The Township had previously applied for a grant in 2020 and 2021 with the New Jersey State Library Construction Bond Act to cover phase 1 and phase 2 of the HVAC system replacement project at the Bridgewater Library for $2,517,000.

Find out what's happening in Bridgewaterwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Phase 1 would include the replacement of four individual air handlers at a cost of $2,240,286 and Phase 2 the replacement of hot water and chilled water pumps at a cost of $276,750, according to the application.

Both of those applications were denied, confirmed Township Administrator Michael Pappas at the Aug. 17 Council meeting.

"I as a resident of this Township and I as a user of the public library system am disappointed that this sort of fell off," said Cathy Franco. "We applied for a grant and apparently we didn’t get it and then nothing was done after that. So I would hope that when we apply for grants in the future we keep our eye on the ball and pay attention to those things."

Pappas said that the township has since been determining the cost estimates that are necessary to then at some point come back to this council for funding.

In the meantime, Pappas said he told Library Director Brian K. Auger that the Township has ordered parts to repair the HVAC system.

"He was informed of the details plan for the parts that have been ordered and the expectation that they will arrive shortly and repairs will be undertaken," said Pappas.

He noted that the township has "not ignored this. This is a large system."

"It is a complex system and finding the right vendor to assess and make appropriate repairs can be a challenge but we are on top of it," said Pappas.

The township confirmed to Patch on Friday that the parts did come in, and repairs are scheduled to begin next week.

The Ridge boys, led by individual champion Brenden McMahon, kept its streak alive by winning for the fifth straight time, the Pingry girls scored a dominating victory, and Julia Scrudato repeated as champion at Thursday's Somerset County Championships at Pleasant Valley Park in Bernards Township.

There have been several All-State runners who have toed the line for Ridge at Pleasant Valley Park, but none of them ever run as fast as McMahon did when the junior stopped the clock at 15:52.

McMahon, third last year, finished seven seconds ahead of junior Lukas Disko of Bridgewater-Raritan and broke the Ridge school course record of 15:53 that was set by the great Jackson Barna in 2019. McMahon is now No. 6 all-time on Pleasant Valley's all-time list. In case you are wondering, the course record of 15:26 was set by Doug Smith of Gill St. Bernard's at the 2007 Somerset County meet. Could McMahon make a run at that record next year?

McMahon's victory ignited a 1-6-7-12-16 scoring combination for Ridge, which added up to a winning total of 42. Pingry was second with 65, and Bernards, the Skyland Conference champ, was third with 69.

Boys Top 5 Finishers

Ridge's scorers were McMahon, senior Dmitry Cole, placing sixth in 16:33, senior Dev Patel, seventh in 16:35, senior Matthew Fukushima, 12th in 16:54, and junior Kaleb Huang, 16th in 17:07. Ridge's average of 16:36 was just eight seconds off the course record of 16:28 that Ridge ran last year.

In the girls competition, the University of North Carolina-bound Scrudato, who won the 1,600 at the Meet of Champions last June, threw down the No. 7 time in course history by clocking an 18:13 to finish a minute ahead of Olivia Murray of Pingry, who was a finalist at the Champs (now Foot Locker again) National Championships last year.

Scrudato, who also won the Skyland Conference title last week in 18:33 on the rugged Phillipsburg course, sliced 39 seconds off her winning time from last year. Her 18:13 is the fastest girls time at Pleasant Valley since 2012 when Marissa Ruskan of Bridgewater-Raritan won the Somerset County title in 17:56, which is No. 2 in course history. The course holder is the legendary Melanie Thompson of Voorhees, who ran 17:48 at the 2008 Skyland Conference Championships.

Girls Top 5 Finishers

Pingry, which lost to Hillsborough by just three points year, blitzed the competition by cramming its five scorers in the top 13 en route to a 38-99 win over runner-up Montgomery. Pingry also won the Skyland Conference title last week.

The Columbia-bound Murray led a 2-4-9-10-13 finish for Pingry, who averaged 19:46. Junior Lucy Ambrogio was fourth in 19:38, sophomore Julia Ronnen finished ninth in 19:54, junior Kayla Kerr placed 10th in 19:57, and senior Devan Gambello finished 13th in 20:10.

Candidate Jarrett Hahn shares why he is running for election on the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education in 2023.

Patch Staff

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education general election on Nov. 7 has seven candidates running for three open seats representing Bridgewater and one open seat representing Raritan.

Jarrett Hahn is running for one of the three, three-year full-term seats representing Bridgewater.

Other candidates include incumbent Barry R. Walker, Rebecca Hassouna, and Hector Menendez (who is Hahn's running mate). Harini Rajagopalan withdrew her name and will not be running this year anymore.

There is also one, three-year unexpired seat representing Raritan open. Candidates include Umesh Agrawal, incumbent Michael M. Pepe, and Jeffrey McNally.

Additionally, there is a referendum question on the ballot. Voters previously approved the first part of the District's referendum in March to make significant renovations to district-wide schools and to have full-day kindergarten.

Find out what's happening in Bridgewaterwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

The second question appearing on the ballot in November will ask the two communities to approve the total operating costs of the full-day kindergarten for $2.46 million.

Are you running for office in Bridgewater? Contact Alexis Tarrazi at [email protected] for information on being featured in a candidate's profile and submitting campaign announcements to the Bridgewater Patch.

Age: 41

Town of residence: Bridgewater

Position sought: BRRSD BOE representing Bridgewater

Family: Wife and two sons

Education: Broward College; additional in strength and conditioning

Occupation: Owner and Fitness coach of M.O.V.E. NJ, a health and fitness facility.

Why are you seeking election on the Bridgewater-Raritan Board of Education?

The reason I am running for the Board of Education is to be the voice of parents who care about the quality of education, health, wellbeing, overall development, and safety of our students. My running mate Hector Menendez and I hold the same goal of ensuring the best possible education system for Bridgewater students, which is why our campaign slogan is, “For Bridgewater Kids”.

We would like to encourage parents to get more involved and informed on the curriculum. We also would like parents to be aware of the safety and security concerns of the schools and be conscious of both the mental and physical health of our children. We would like to help parents become more engaged and informed about their child’s school. We also would like to see further improved transparency, communication, and overall parent involvement and partnership with the schools.

The second portion of the referendum will go up for a vote in November. Are you in favor of this? Why or why not?

In order to better understand the November 7th referendum vote, you first need to know what the referendum is about. In March, the community voted on two questions. Question one addressed capital improvements to our district and question two was the approval of full day kindergarten and the expansion of the middle school. Both of these questions passed, but in order to implement full daykindergarten and the expansion of the middle school, we need to vote on the operating budget, which is occurring in November. Bridgewater is a diverse community with people and families in all stages of life. This comes down to what is best for our community as a whole and I encourage people to learn more about this project and get out to vote.

Transportation is a statewide issue. Do you feel transportation issues are being handled well by the Board? Why or why not? If not, how do you propose improving it?

Transportation has been a disaster with most parents I have spoken with. As far as I can see the transportation issues have not been handled well. The issue begins with the quality of transportation providers. Unfortunately, as stated in the latest board meeting, the district is forced to select the lowest bid from all service providers quoted. The cheapest option is almost never the best option. With the limited information shared with the public, it is difficult to devise a well thought out plan without all the facts, but I will make this an urgent priority for the school district to find a solution.

Security at schools remains a high priority. Are you happy with the district's security plan for students and staff? If not, what would be your alternative? I think the security upgrades over the past couple of years are an improvement, and the first part of the referendum approved the addition of some excellent security measures, namely the secured vestibules. I commend the district for making security a priority and addressing these upgrades through question one of the referendum. The class three officers and security hired by the district are a step in the right direction, but I still feel that the local law enforcement agencies would be the safest and most effective approach. The last thing we would want to have is an emergency situation where security and local law enforcement are not on the same page, which could lead to unexpected outcomes.

What sets you apart from the challenging candidates?

I have expertise in health and performance. Examples of a few issues that have been brought to my attention include student sleep quality, nutrition and food selection inside the school, and lack of physical activity and fitness. If we do not address the physical and mental health of our children, then all other concerns seem to be of less importance. As an owner and operator of a small business, it is paramount to have tested and true systems to increase efficiency and efficacy. I think with my experience in human performance and administrative skills of a business owner, I could make sustainable suggestions and changes in order to best serve the students, tax payers, and stakeholders in town. In addition to my skill set, my running mate Hector Menendez and I have the mindset of looking out for the kids and families. The most important factor is to be in it for the right reasons - the kids. We are For Bridgewater Kids.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County Regional Animal Shelter is still going strong.

Members of the shelter, which is headquartered in Bridgewater, appeared before the Bridgewater Township Council Oct. 5, with the municipal governing body offering a proclamation celebrating October as National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month.

The proclamation was read by Bridgewater Mayor Matthew Moench, who had earlier quipped that the animals present in the Bridgewater municipal building were "literally getting restless" outside the council chambers, as several barks could be heard from the lobby.

The proclamation noted that the mayor and council "recognize the vital role that shelter dogs play in our community, offering companionship, love and a second chance to those in need," along with the tireless efforts made by shelter personnel to care for and find forever homes for “countless dogs.” It also noted that it was vital "to promote responsible pet ownership and encourage the adoption of shelter dogs to provide them with loving homes,” while raising community awareness about the benefits of adopting shelter dogs.

The shelter's Brian Bradshaw and staff entered the council chambers with two dogs, one named Romeo who suffered from separation anxiety but was "doing very well," plus a 4-month old pup named Ryker. Also present were shelter president Kathy Healey, along with several board members and a host of shelter volunteers.

The shelter handles about 500 to 550 adoptions on an annual basis.

"The shelter is such a great organization here in Bridgewater Township," said councilman Filipe Pedroso.

It was also noted how far the shelter itself has come over the last decade, especially the recovery it made after its situation had once appeared bleak.

"Six to seven years ago, there was a movement to close the shelter and outsource its services," said Moench, who talked about the many, many people the shelter touches to this day.

The community subsequently rallied around the shelter to keep it going, making both adoptions and donations.

"It's wonderful to see the happiness you bring," Moench said.
