The American Heart Association and more than 1,000 community members are expected to walk at the NJ Tri-County Heart Walk. Local businesses and American Heart Association volunteers, as well as heart disease and stroke survivors will participate. This year’s Heart Walk is sponsored by Englewood Health, Holy Name Medical Center, KPMG, HYTORC, NVE Bank and media sponsors, El Especialito, TAPinto and Bergen Magazine.
Participants can register for the Heart Walk by visiting, heart.org/njtricountyheartwalk. From there, participants can create personal fundraising pages, download the Heart Walk mobile app, and encourage family and friends to join.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Overpeck Park. Registration begins at 9:00am followed by a brief ceremony before the walk begins. Everyone is encouraged to dress in their Heart Walk best and come out to move more. The walk will feature a kid’s zone with activities, local vendors and much more. Don’t forget your furry friends because this event is pet friendly.
