As women age, their hormones begin to go through changes that affect their day-to-day lives. For women, hormone deficiency and imbalance usually occur during menopause and can cause chronic fatigue, hot flashes, and mood swings, among other issues. Hormone replacement therapy helps correct hormone imbalances in women, helping them feel more vibrant and virile as they age.
Often, HRT treatments give patients enhanced quality of life that they didn't think was possible - even in their 60's and beyond.
The benefits for women are numerous and are available today through Global Life Rejuvenation.
As women age, their bodies begin to go through significant changes that affect their quality of life. This change is called menopause and marks the end of a woman's menstrual cycle and reproduction ability. Though there is no specific age when this change occurs, the average age of menopause onset is 51 years old. However, according to doctors, menopause officially starts 12 months after a woman's final period. During the transition to menopause, women's estrogen and other hormones begin to deplete.
As that happens, many women experience severe symptoms. These symptoms include:
The symptoms of hormone deficiency can be concerning and scary for both women and their spouses. However, if you're getting older and notice some of these symptoms, there is reason to be hopeful. Hormone replacement therapy and anti-aging medicine for women can correct imbalances that happen during menopause. These safe, effective treatments leave you feeling younger, healthier, and more vibrant.
The most common reason for menopause is the natural decline in a female's reproductive hormones. However, menopause can also result from the following situations:
Oophorectomy: This surgery, which removes a woman's ovaries, causes immediate menopause. Symptoms and signs of menopause in this situation can be severe, as the hormonal changes happen abruptly.
Chemotherapy: Cancer treatments like chemotherapy can induce menopause quickly, causing symptoms to appear shortly after or even during treatment.
Ovarian Insufficiency: Also called premature ovarian failure, this condition is essentially premature menopause. It happens when a woman's ovaries quit functioning before the age of 40 and can stem from genetic factors and disease. Only 1% of women suffer from premature menopause, but HRT can help protect the heart, brain, and bones.
For many women, menopause is a trying time that can be filled with many hormonal hurdles to jump through. A little knowledge can go a long way, whether you're going through menopause now or are approaching "that" age.
Here are some of the most common issues that women experience during menopause:
If you're a woman going through menopause and find that you have become increasingly depressed, you're not alone. It's estimated that 15% of women experience depression to some degree while going through menopause. What many women don't know is that depression can start during perimenopause, or the years leading up to menopause.
Depression can be hard to diagnose, especially during perimenopause and menopause. However, if you notice the following signs, it might be time to speak with a physician:
Remember, if you're experiencing depression, you're not weak or broken - you're going through a very regular emotional experience. The good news is that with proper treatment from your doctor, depression isn't a death sentence. And with HRT and anti-aging treatment for women, depression could be the catalyst you need to enjoy a new lease on life.
Hot flashes - they're one of the most well-known symptoms of menopause. Hot flashes are intense, sudden feelings of heat across a woman's upper body. Some last second, while others last minutes, making them incredibly inconvenient and uncomfortable for most women.
Symptoms of hot flashes include:
Typically, hot flashes are caused by a lack of estrogen. Low estrogen levels negatively affect a woman's hypothalamus, the part of the brain that controls body temperature and appetite. Low estrogen levels cause the hypothalamus to incorrectly assume the body is too hot, dilating blood vessels to increase blood flow. Luckily, most women don't have to settle for the uncomfortable feelings that hot flashes cause. HRT treatments for women often stabilize hormones, lessening the effects of hot flashes and menopause in general.
Mood swings are common occurrences for most people - quick shifts from happy to angry and back again, triggered by a specific event. And while many people experience mood swings, they are particularly common for women going through menopause. That's because, during menopause, the female's hormones are often imbalanced. Hormone imbalances and mood swings go hand-in-hand, resulting in frequent mood changes and even symptoms like insomnia.
The rate of production of estrogen, a hormone that fluctuates during menopause, largely determines the rate of production the hormone serotonin, which regulates mood, causing mood swings.
Luckily, HRT and anti-aging treatments in East Rutherford, NJ for women work wonders for mood swings by regulating hormone levels like estrogen. With normal hormone levels, women around the world are now learning that they don't have to settle for mood swings during menopause.
Staying fit and healthy is hard for anyone living in modern America. However, for women with hormone imbalances during perimenopause or menopause, weight gain is even more serious. Luckily, HRT treatments for women coupled with a physician-led diet can help keep weight in check. But which hormones need to be regulated?
Lowered sexual desire - three words most men and women hate to hear. Unfortunately, for many women in perimenopausal and menopausal states, it's just a reality of life. Thankfully, today, HRT and anti-aging treatments East Rutherford, NJ can help women maintain a normal, healthy sex drive. But what causes low libido in women, especially as they get older?
The hormones responsible for low libido in women are progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone.
Progesterone production decreases during perimenopause, causing low sex drive in women. Lower progesterone production can also cause chronic fatigue, weight gain, and other symptoms. On the other hand, lower estrogen levels during menopause lead to vaginal dryness and even vaginal atrophy or loss of muscle tension.
Lastly, testosterone plays a role in lowered libido. And while testosterone is often grouped as a male hormone, it contributes to important health and regulatory functionality in women. A woman's testosterone serves to heighten sexual responses and enhances orgasms. When the ovaries are unable to produce sufficient levels of testosterone, it often results in a lowered sex drive.
Often uncomfortable and even painful, vaginal dryness is a serious problem for sexually active women. However, like hair loss in males, vaginal dryness is very common - almost 50% of women suffer from it during menopause.
Getting older is just a part of life, but that doesn't mean you have to settle for the side effects. HRT and anti-aging treatments for women correct vaginal dryness by re-balancing estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. When supplemented with diet and healthy living, your vagina's secretions are normalized, causing discomfort to recede.
Uterine fibroids - they're perhaps the least-known symptom of menopause and hormone imbalances in women. That's because these growths on the uterus are often symptom-free. Unfortunately, these growths can be cancerous, presenting a danger for women as they age.
Many women will have fibroids at some point. Because they're symptomless, they're usually found during routine doctor exams. Some women only get one or two, while others may have large clusters of fibroids. Because fibroids are usually caused by hormone imbalances, hysterectomies have been used as a solution, forcing women into early menopause.
Advances in HRT and anti-aging medicine for women give females a safer, non-surgical option without having to experience menopause early. At Global Life Rejuvenation, our expert physicians will implement a customized HRT program to stabilize your hormones and reduce the risk of cancerous fibroid growth.
Endometriosis symptoms are much like the effects of PMS, and include pelvic pain, fatigue, cramping, and bloating. While doctors aren't entirely sure what causes this painful, uncomfortable condition, most agree that hormones - particularly xenoestrogens - play a factor.
Endometriosis symptoms are much like the effects of PMS and include pelvic pain, fatigue, cramping, and bloating. While doctors aren't entirely sure what causes this painful, uncomfortable condition, most agree that hormones - particularly xenoestrogens - play a factor.
Xenoestrogen is a hormone that is very similar to estrogen. Too much xenoestrogen is thought to stimulate endometrial tissue growth. HRT for women helps balance these hormones and, when used with a custom nutrition program, can provide relief for women across the U.S.
Hormone stability is imperative for a healthy sex drive and for a normal, stress-free life during menopause. HRT and anti-aging treatments for women balance the hormones that your body has altered due to perimenopause or menopause.
HRT for women is a revolutionary step in helping women live their best lives, even as they grow older. However, at Global Life Rejuvenation, we know that no two patients are the same. That's why we specialize in holistic treatments that utilize HRT, combined with healthy nutrition, supplements, and fitness plans that maximize hormone replacement treatments.
If you've been suffering through menopause, is HRT the answer? That's hard to say without an examination by a trusted physician, but one thing's for sure. When a woman balances her hormone levels, she has a much better shot at living a regular life with limited depression, weight gain, mood swings, and hot flashes.
Here are just a few additional benefits of HRT and anti-aging treatments for females:
Hormone imbalance causes a litany of issues. But with anti-aging treatments for women, females can better process calcium, keep their cholesterol levels safe, and maintain a healthy vagina. By replenishing the body's estrogen supply, HRT can relieve symptoms from menopause and protect against osteoporosis. But that's just the start.
Global Life Rejuvenation's patients report many more benefits of HRT and anti-aging medicine for women:

Growth hormone peptides are an innovative therapy that boosts the natural human growth hormone production in a person's body. These exciting treatment options help slow down the aging process and give you a chance at restoring your youth.
At Global Life Rejuvenation, we offer two forms of growth hormone peptides: Sermorelin and Ipamorelin.
Sermorelin is a synthetic hormone peptide, like GHRH, which triggers the release of growth hormones. When used under the care of a qualified physician, Sermorelin can help you lose weight, increase your energy levels, and help you feel much younger.
Human growth hormone (HGH) therapy has been used for years to treat hormone deficiencies. Unlike HGH, which directly replaces declining human growth hormone levels, Sermorelin addresses the underlying cause of decreased HGH, stimulating the pituitary gland naturally. This approach keeps the mechanisms of growth hormone production active.
Ipamorelin helps to release growth hormones in a person's body by mimicking a peptide called ghrelin. Ghrelin is one of three hormones which work together to regulate the growth hormone levels released by the pituitary gland. Because Ipamorelin stimulates the body to produce growth hormone, your body won't stop its natural growth hormone production, which occurs with synthetic HGH.
Ipamorelin causes growth hormone secretion that resembles natural release patterns rather than being constantly elevated from HGH. Because ipamorelin stimulates the natural production of growth hormone, our patients can use this treatment long-term with fewer health risks.
One of the biggest benefits of Ipamorelin is that it provides significant short and long-term benefits in age management therapies. Ipamorelin can boost a patient's overall health, wellbeing, and outlook on life.
When growth hormone is produced by the pituitary gland using Ipamorelin, clients report amazing benefits. Some of those benefits include:

Yet another celebrity was spotted in New Jersey this week — and it’s a big one. Kim Kardashian was seen yesterday hanging out with a couple of kids at Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park in American Dream, located at 1 American Dream Way in East Rutherford. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star was seen taking selfies on the Rugrats Reptar-Go-Round. Kim’s recent tri-state whereabouts could partially be due to her high-profile relationship with comedian Pete Davidson, who is based in Staten Island. She was also recently on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week, which films in New York. This isn’t Kim’s first trip to NJ — Kim also visited Hoboken many years back when she was dating Hobokenite Kris Humphries. Read on for what we know about Kim Kardashian’s trip to East Rutherford, New Jersey.

On June 22nd, The Hive sent HG a DM + some photos, sharing that Kim Kardashian was hanging out at American Dream in East Rutherford. The reality star was spotted taking some awesome selfies on the Rugrats Reptar-Go-Round while spending time at the indoor Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park. According to The Hive, Kim was actively engaged with the kids she was with — and looked fantastic while doing it.

Those of us who have lived in Hoboken for a while may remember Kim took a trip to Hoboken about 10 years back when she was engaged to basketball pro Kris Humphries, who lived in Hoboken at the time. While visiting Kris, the two notably took a trip to Modern Nails & Spa for dual mani-pedis. Modern Nails is still standing on 728 Washington Street and was picked by HG readers as a favorite spot to get nails done in 2021. Maybe Kim K will visit this local favorite sometime again in the future.
Kim Kardashian is just one of many celebrities to be spotted locally. Bryan Cranston + Aaron Paul took a full New Jersey tour to promote their mezcal back in May. Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman were seen locally while filming their movie The Kill Room. TikTok star Lynja took a field trip to the Hoboken Trader Joe’s to film a dinner date night TikTok with Nick DiGiovanni. And who can forget when Penn Badgley had a favorite local coffee shop? Justin + Hailey Bieber, Maddie Ziegler, Eli Manning, and even Beyoncé have also been spotted locally throughout the years. Suffice it to say, there are no shortage of awesome celebrity sightings in the North Jersey area.
The Hoboken Girl will keep you in the loop as more celebrity sightings come to light. In the meantime, stay in the know with @thehobokengirl on Instagram and TikTok. And be sure to send us a DM if you see anyone noteworthy!

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The American Dream mega mall in East Rutherford N.J. will debut a new, 10,000-square-foot dining area that includes seven luxe boutique-style food concepts, NJ.com has reported. One of three planned food halls at the Meadowlands center, the new addition will officially launch on July 13.
Located on Level 2 of the retail and entertainment hub, the food hall will include a “first-of-its-kind” wine concept, a luxury pastry maker and an iconic dumpling establishment, NJ.com noted. It will join the already open Coca-Cola Eats and the soon to debut Kosher Food Hall. American Dream’s goal with this launch? To create another core of activity within the mall. Games of oversized cornhole, Jenga and Connect Four will mark its launch.
“The addition of these unique food and wine concepts perfectly complement our world-class attractions and robust retail offerings, reinforcing American Dream as an unrivaled destination,” Don Ghermezian, CEO of American Dream, told NJ.com.
The Food Hall at American Dream will open with seven concepts, including the already open Van Leeujwen Ice Cream and Best Pizza. NJ.com describes the others as such:
· Vinoteca: Guests can taste their way through 64 curated wines self-served by an interactive machine that perfectly pours 1-ounce sips, 3-ounce tastes or 5-ounce glasses. They also serve beer poured the same way and Italian fare from paninis to charcuterie boards.
· Lady M: This New York City confections brand has more than 50 boutiques throughout the world. It marries French pastry techniques with Japanese influences and is famous for the Signature Mille Crepes.
· Vanessa’s Dumpling House: Iconic New York establishment will offer Beijing-style authentic dumplings and other Beijing-influenced delicacies including noodles, soups, salads and sauces. They’re known for using daily fresh ingredients and sesame pancake sandwiches stuffed with roast pork, beef, veggies, tofu, tuna and Peking duck.
Two other establishments -- Dream Bar and Bang Cookies – will open in the fall and winter, respectively.
The announcement of this addition comes just two weeks after Triple Five Group, which owns the property, failed to make its semiannual payment on a $800 million municipal bond, the Wall Street Journal reported. Bondholders instead received payment from an $11.35 million debt service reserve account, according to the publication, which said that the mall could soon be declared in default.
The money troubles are not new: Last month, a securities filing revealed the property lost roughly $60 million last year, The Real Deal reported, generating $173 million in revenue against $232 million in expenses.

Cardi B and her husband Offset were out and about at American Dream mega mall Monday with their family.
The Grammy-winning rapper from the Bronx, a Bergen County resident, took in the sights at the DreamWorks Water Park inside the East Rutherford complex, sharing scenes from her day on Instagram.
Cardi, 29, watched as Offset, 30, of the rap trio Migos, and their daughter, Kulture, 3, who wore a life vest, splashed around in a pool and glided down a water slide.
Photos shared by American Dream show Cardi standing in the park’s wave pool.
Cardi and Offset welcomed son Wave in September.
The “Shake It” rapper, who bought a house in Tenafly for nearly $6 million last fall and formerly had a home in Edgewater, recently made an appearance at Hot 97′s Summer Jam at MetLife Stadium.
“Tallest water slide in the world,” Cardi told her 135 million followers, sharing a video from the American Dream water park on her Instagram stories.
She was talking about the water park’s 14-story Thrillagascar and Jungle Jammer water slides, which are actually billed “the world’s tallest trapdoor capsules.”
This isn’t Cardi’s first time at American Dream.
Both Cardi and Kulture made an appearance at the mall in November.
In 2019, the rapper made history as the first female solo artist to win the Grammy for best rap album. She won the honor for her debut album “Invasion of Privacy,” which debuted at No. 1 in 2018. She’s had five No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, starting with “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” in 2017 and including “WAP,” her 2020 hit with Megan Thee Stallion, and “Up” in 2021.
Cardi and Offset have collaborated on songs including “Drip,” “Clout,” “Lick” and “MotorSport.”

Kim Kardashian was the latest celebrity spotted at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford.
The blonde-haired Kardashian, with kid in tow, was seen at the mega-mall enjoying the rides and water park at the Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park on Wednesday.
Kardashian posted a series of videos on her Instagram stories with the caption: "Yesterday at the coolest mall ever! American Dream in Jersey."
Just before catching a ride on the swings, she reassured her child, "Don't be scared. We got this."
Kardashian was amazed that the mall has Big Snow skiing, telling her fans: "Oh my God. This mall has skiing ... in Jersey. This is insane." She captioned that video a "Dream come true!"
Kardashian also visited the DreamWorks Water Park, posting a video from one of the suites, before showing "the biggest candy store in the world" with a carousel horse and mushroom made out of jelly beans.
"How cute is this?" she said.
Kardashian's visit was first reported by The Hoboken Girl, showing photos of the star taking selfies on the Rugrats Reptar-Go-Round.
Just days earlier, Cardi B, who recently bought a $5.85 million home in Tenafly, made waves at the American Dream water park.
The struggling mega-mall and entertainment complex can certainly use this celebrity star power.
Last week, American Dream made a belated $13.9 million deposit to bondholders, but a bank trustee said it remains behind on its payments.
The mall's developers still owe interest on the bond payment they missed on June 1, leaving them in default, the U.S. Bank Trust Co. said in a notice to bondholders.
"The mall's definitely in trouble, there's no doubt in my mind," East Rutherford Mayor Jeffrey Lahullier said in an interview earlier this month.
The mall reported $60 million in losses last year amid the coronavirus pandemic.

NEW YORK — Atlanta, Houston, Miami, Philadelphia, Seattle and Kansas City, Missouri, were the newcomers among the 11 U.S. sites picked to host games at the 2026 World Cup, while Baltimore, Cincinnati, Denver, Nashville, Tennessee, and Orlando, Florida, were left out.
Arlington, Texas; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Foxborough, Massachusetts, and Inglewood and Santa Clara, California, were the holdovers.
FIFA announced its selections Thursday for the first World Cup with three co-hosts, also picking three Mexican cities and two in Canada.
The U.S. selections included none of the nine stadiums used at the 1994 World Cup. The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, and Orlando’s Camping World Stadium were the only ones remaining in contention, and they were among the sites dropped in the final round.
New stadiums were selected in five areas used in 1994. AT&T Stadium in Texas replaced Dallas’ Cotton Bowl; SoFi Stadium in Inglewood took over for Pasadena’s Rose Bowl; and Levi’s Stadium instead of Stanford Stadium.
Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Masschusetts, replaced torn-down stadiums that were adjacent, Giants Stadium and Foxboro Stadium.
Orlando’s Camping World was dropped among existing 1994 venues. The Detroit area, where the old Pontiac Silverdome hosted games, was cut in 2018 and Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium was dropped after FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, dropped out. Washington’s RFK Stadium was used in 1994.
Chicago, which hosted the 1994 opener at Solider Field, refused to bid, citing FIFA’s economic demands.
Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca, which hosted the 1970 and ‘86 finals and will become the first stadium in three World Cups, was selected along with Guadalajara’s Estadio Akron and Monterrey’s Estadio BBVA.
Toronto’s BMO Field and Vancouver, British Columbia’s B.C. Place were picked while Edmonton, Alberta’s Commonwealth Stadium was dropped.
The bid plan envisioned 60 games in the U.S., including all from the quarterfinals on, and 10 each in Mexico and Canada.
Specific sites for each round will be announced later.
In contrast to the 1992 site announcement during a news conference, the 2026 announcement was made during a televised show from Fox’s studio in Manhattan.
